We loved that place which is right inside the beautiful sand dunes of the Sahara. Cool room in the Berbere tent. Very good and tasty dinner - Berbere couscous and soup, and breakfast. Very friendly and caring staff. Very pleasant walk in the dunes and camel ride. Interesting tour around Merzouga village. Omar knows the all area better than anyone else, since it has been built by his family. And his cousin Azim is a great cook!
We loved everything. The price of the night was cheap but be aware that you will have to pay for the trasnport from the Berbere Palace Hotel to the actual camp in the desert. You can chose between the 4x4 tour or the camel ride. At the end, it was a bit pricey for us, but it's all worth it. Great experience.

How the people treat each other with kindness and respect, not just to guests who are paying. All the staff treated our kids so well that we can tell they love kids like Fiji people. Our kids also love the gentle pets onsite. We saw many shooting stars at night. They are flexible and accomodating to our needs with gladness like stopping by the big sanddunes on the way out to let our kids more time to slide down. And the ATV is super fun since it is very challenging but the guide made it safe for us and the kids. All the food provided is Moroccan authentic food.
Nothing.

We celebrated Christmas around the fire with Berber music and stories about the life as a Berber. In winter time it gets very cold during the night, but they have provided us with 3 big blankets so we sleept well. The camp was the most authentic and beautiful of all. We were meet with kindness from the family. And everything was perfectly organized and on time. Sandboarding is for free. We decided to ride camels to the camp and quads on the way back. A fantastic choice. Thank you

Facilities in the desert were surprisingly good - toilets and showers (all facilities are shared) and decent bed in a very clean tent. Food was also delicious (€15 each). Free sand-boards too. Unfortunately we didn’t get any music or fire due to a sandstorm! Overall a great experience for 1 night, we recommend!
We were not too sure about how well the camels were treated, perhaps opt for the 4x4 option to get to and from camp. It was not clear to us whether prices were for a return journey, in the end we paid 50 euro one way and 30 back, so be prepared for this cost!

Welcoming and very clean luxury camp with a nice view and nice staff. Omar was very friendly and welcoming and helped us with any request we had and gave us some recommendations and information about the local culture. It is better to stay in this desert camp and book tours from there instead of staying at a desert camp. The desert camp we had was a total scam. We booked a camel tour with the camp and they arranged a local guide who really took his time and made sure we enjoyed our tour and the sunset in the dunes. Very recommendable for a camel experience.
Everything is amazing

Extraordinary experience!! We stayed in Sahara Wellness camp for 2 nights. Place is very pleasant and well equipped. There is always warm water, wifi, drinking water and good food to taste! We had buffet breakfast where we could choose between local food or pancakes (all time favourites), during the day we visited oasis, nomad families, black desert and had a ride on the sand dunes. For the sunrise we went on a camel ride. Night was always for a tasty dinner followed by a music program next to the fire. We had amazing weekend in Sahara thanks to Omar, Aziz and the rest of the guys who became our friends after this, would highly recommend this experience for the ones who need the escape from fast city life but also to all the others to experience Sahara

I had a magical experience here! I traveled alone as a woman and spent 3 nights at Sahara Wellness Camp. The camp exceeded my expectations! Omar, Aziz and the rest of the staff are amazingly helpful and polite. They are locals so first of all they are very knowledgable about the desert. They were really good at communicating everything before my arrival - including transfer from Merzouga to the camp, activities and specific prices. The tent was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The food and service was great and charming! It was my birthday and they surprised me with a cake. It really came from a genuine place, it wasn't just a tourist entertainment. Really lovely vibes! It is a camp - so the toilets and bathroom are shared, you should adjust your expectations, but they clean and organise everything daily. So for camp standards it was great! I really enjoyed the campfire and music in the evenings. The atmosphere is both authentic and charming. There are many activities during the day and they accommodate to your preferences. I loved the location - you can hike to the bigger dunes very easily from this camp to watch the sunrise and sunset. I recommend spending at least 2 nights to enjoy the chill desert vibes. Overall, I think you can book this place as a solo traveler, a couple or a family without hesitation!

The set up is really nice and staff is great! Everyone is friendly and always trying to help. Omar is responsive. ATV/quad ride is a MUST for the sunset and the dinner is truly special.
Day tour to the nomad family is quite expensive for what it is. Overall, everything went great, but I wouldn’t have stayed 2 nights, it was a long day in the desert with only so much to do. Don’t overestimate the heat. The ideal trip is to arrive in the afternoon, around 5pm, go watch the sunset with the ATV or Camels and then have dinner and enjoy the night at the camp. Leave early morning after breakfast.

Everything was amazing!!! The camp has a great energy, friendly vibe; it is small, so you feel like part of big family. We got real rest and felt great there. The rooms are spacious, were very clean when we arrived, the beds are extremely comfy, and the blankets kept us warm during the night (of course be resonable and bring warm clothes, it is a dessert after all, but with blankets it is good). Bathrooms were really clean and european looking, there was warm water in the shower. Our group is made of food lovers, let me just tell you, the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The camp ground is well lit during the night and they have 2 guard dogs, so you feel very safe there, even as a woman. The camp has animals - right now, the cat had a baby, so there are 5 little kittens, dogs and farm animals as well. Be aware that they are all very well behaved, polite and used to guests and if you choose to play with them, the guys show you how to do that and check with you to make sure you are comfortable. There is always somebody on the ground or nearby to see if you need anything and make sure all is fine, always ready to help or advise. We stayed there 2 nights and it is minimum in our opinion - there are trips, experiences with camels, you have big sand dunes nearby, but also area to relax in the camp and next to it, moreover guys play live music every night. Hugely recommended, we will definitely be back in the future! Shukram for the experience :)

A great stay in the desert. Staff was super friendly & helpful, very flexible with transportation options. The night in the desert was amazing, you could see the Milky Way and enjoy the stars. The camel ride to the desert is great, I definitely recommend taking it at least once. It is also great to stay for at least 2 nights, we stayed for 1 night and it wasn’t enough. The facilities were superb, the beds were comfortable, multiple showers and sinks, everything is clean. I think there was electricity, but no plugs in the tents; take power banks with you if you need to charge something.
Dinner & transportation are a bit pricey, be aware of the additional charges. But everything was communicated clearly in advance, so no problem for us at all :)
