The location was good, staff at the breakfast was efficient and cleaned tables very quick as well as they filled with food as soon anything got empty. The variety of food at the breakfast was tremendous. They have a bar at the lobby, a wonderfull possibility to relax after a whole day of sightseeing.

Due to the fact that airport is located in the middle of the city we had airplanes coming to landing through the night and it made it difficult to get worthy sleep because we had our windows opened during the nights. It was only one elevator which ocassionally made it difficult to board cause we lived on the 9th floor. During our stay there were some issues with hot water, it came only after 8 o´clock in the morning and we are early birds who woke up at 7.

All the above, once you get used to where everything is it is ideal as the tour buses run a five minute walk to the bottom of the park. The restuarants were very nice and some shopping. We found the cleaning staff very friendly, breakfast staff very helpful. The maintenance man came straight away when we had a problem with water in the bathroom and got sorted immediately.

A bit more information on where to go for perhaps food shopping if needed, we did find a couple of places but we were there a long time, so had time to look around t would have been useful to have a bit more information from reception staff, maybe, a local map, or even a list of nearby places. The park was lovely and the planetarium very peaceful, which is in the park, and very reasonable fee, although on a sunday it is free.

Good location, nice and long breakfast. I woke up at 7, had breakfast and then had a coffee at 9:40 before leaving for the office. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice lobby, polite staff.

Tiny room. The tinies I have ever stayed it. I had to leave my suitcase near the door because it wouldn't fit between the bed and the wall and if i wanted it in the room i would have to carry it over the bed. There is a pillar in the center of the room, the table is so close to it. Airconditioning blows right on the bed. Need to cool down the room before going to sleep

We had a balcony room on the 7th floor which looked over the park and city beyond. The room was comfortable with the necessary facilities. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. For example , they gave us the names of 2 restaurants to try. One of these we used twice for dinner! Plenty of choice from the self service breakfast was appreciated.

Our bathroom was small. Very small. They could have left out the bidet and had just a shower unit and not a bath too. However, we adapted to it.

This is a very comfortable hotel in a good location. The beds are really comfortable and the balcony rooms have a nice view. It is also not stuffy and airless like so many hotels. It is a very good hotel for the price - I would stay there again. There is a pretty good breakfast - nothing out of the box, but plenty of choices.

The only downside was the startling shower that constantly cycled from freezing cold to scorching hot - it would not maintain a constant temperature so it was difficult to have an enjoyable shower. Also, the walls are a little thin - you can hear your neighbours snoring.

Good location, all the staff are highly profesional, the room is cleaned every day, the laundry is impeccable, overall very good quality for the money. The rooms are safe. The inside of the hotel is very warm and decorated in good taste, the restaurant is great (too bad you can only have breakfast).

Because of the location, the street noise could be upsetting, but you can close the window. The rooms and the bathrooms are a bit smaller then you expect. There is only one elevator, so if you have an upper floor room, you have to be patient to use it. The breakfast is very good, meets all needs, all the products are fresh and tasty. Only one problem: there is no typical portuguese specialty, like chorizo, queijo, bacalão pastry, pasteis etc. I, for one, don't particularly enjoy the average continental breakfast. But it's just me.

Great appartment with a perfect localozation, right in the center with an amazing ocean view. It was the best part of the day to sit on the terrace when our son was sleeping next door. Place perfect for the family! We got a baby bed and baby chair from Ana. Kitchen well equiped end functional, washing machine in the appartment. All you may need for a few days stay in Luz ❤️

There were some construction works upstairs and some days the noise was umbelievable loud but we know it was not Anas fault, she tried to contact them. And its probably finished now

The location is great, close to the park and 7mins downhill walk away from metro. The hospitallity and the staff was very supportive.

The glasses in the bedroom were dirty, the water pipe was broken one day and we couldn't use the water from tap to drink for the rest of our stay. The whole hotel is quite oldish one, would look for more modern place next time.

Brilliant location opposite Parque Eduardo VII. Our balcony overlooked the park, where we spent quite a bit of our stay (botanical gardens, daytime restaurant, playground, viewing point). Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. There's a small bar and the breakfast spread was very good. Some very posh hotels on the same road but this was great value.

friendly staff, reception area and seating area large and well furnished. opulent feeling, good to start trip. great views from balcony, we were upgraded to a family suite, which actually had a bedroom and separate room with comfortable settee with second bed underneath and own tv. breakfast was lots of choice

bathroom was small, suggest remove bidet . only one main lift, fine while we were there but at busier times could be a problem as 11 floors but luckily only 9 rooms a floor.
