The location is the best. Right on the water, pet friendly and has a pool. Small fridge, microwave and single cup coffee pot in room. Free breakfast and coffee in office. Walking distance to the high tides bar and restaurant. I've cream stand close, 7-11 waking distance. Peddlers market a nice little store. Food lion close. New owners as of this year, very friendly. Do yourself a favor and fo stay

The location was optimal as it was right by the beach in the less populated area. The breakfast was simple (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, breads), no yogurts and only oj and milk but that was ok. The dining area was a little cramped too but you can sit outside at picnic tables. Being in a beach town, you might want to eat at one of the local restaurants anyways. I liked being right at the beach and being able to walk EVERYWHERE. I will definitely want to go back.

We didn’t have a room with a good look at the beach. Also, the WiFi connection was a little iffy. Other than that, I can’t complain.

I needed to buy 2 Diet Cokes. The total was $4. The manager wanted to charge me extra to use my card because the charge was less than $5. I was at the desk, securing and paying for my room, over $250 and this guy tells me that he has to charge me extra so I can purchase drinks with my card. Nuts. I found a few bills in my purse so I paid for my drinks with that. He was rude and apparently didn't like dealing with females. I've stayed there several times, but after this, I don't think I'll go back soon. Last time, there was another person in my room! That night I had to call 911 because a drunk (guest at this place) wandered into the river!

The continental breakfast was more than adequate. There was fruit, 3 cereals to choose from, sliced bread, bagels, sausage patties, bacon, donuts, coffee, tea, multiple juices, milk, and all the condiments! The coffee is very good as well. The location was perfect for the Beach Music Festival we were attending and within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars. All the rooms have a view of the river and the beach. The rooms were very clean and the beds are comfortable. There are multiple picnic tables and outdoor grills surrounding the building and the pool is very nice. The parking is very convenient and we never had to move the car from check-in to check-out. Would definitely stay there again!

Unfortunately, the ice machine was not working, but they did supply individual bags of ice to guests. I did call in advance to see if I could reserve a pet friendly room, and was told by a lady who answered the phone that no cats were allowed. When we checked in, I noted a sign at the registration desk with a picture of a dog AND cat, stating that they need to be informed if a pet will be in the room, as there is an additional fee. When I asked if cats were actually allowed, I was told that they ARE and the additional fee is $25 a night. I would have been glad to pay the additional fee if I had been given the correct information when I called.

We did not do the breakfast, but the location was wonderful rented a golf cart for the day and was able to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. Beds were wonderful!!! I had not slept that well for awhile!! Pool was open and space was great!! I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

Stayed at this hotel multiple times visiting the town. Great value and location.

New management, things felt off. No more free ice and the ice maker was broken. No more overnight office service (which could be a staffing issue) but didn't bother us since we didn't need anything after hours. I stepped out of my room to smoke and left the door open and a staff member informed me I needed to close my door or turn the AC off bc of issues they were having. Everything just felt micromanaged while the old owners were hands off but still attentive. I hope these are just growing pains and don't reflect how the hotel will be ran in the future.

Love the location, beach right outside. Rooms are nice, comfortable. The bed was comfortable but hard on my back. Breakfast is provided which is wonderful.

Miss having a coffee marker in the room. Like being able to get coffee first thing when I get up. Even though the bed was comfortable, it was hard on my back.

location was the best available. Water was hot and good pressure. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Town was quiet, quaint, and clean. Walking distance of things to do and see.

Room was outdated. Pool was nice but tiles around pool needed to be cleaned badly. Minimal breakfast offered; coffee not great. A do-for for sure.

The hotel was very clean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job.

Have been staying at the hotel for over 5 years, miss you previous owners they ate much nicer than the nee owner. House keeping staff was awesome.

Great location! Saying steps from the beach doesn't even really cover just how close the beach was. The rooms had a side view of the water which was great. Staff was friendly and accommodations were really reasonable for the price.

The beds could have been more comfortable (but I've had worse) and the pool could use some cleaning but we were thrilled it was open and decent for the super hot weather.
