Thank you very much for DCC Team for making yet another stay for us so flawless and enjoyable, and my birthday so special. It was one of our most pleasant holidays. Our special thanks to Tito for making our stay comfortable and very enjoyable. Tito is a real asset to the business. He has such a special touch for making delicious breakfasts, with classy beautiful presentation. Under his vigilant supervision the whole place is kept in immaculate condition, everything sparkling clean, from the entrance and windows down to snow-white ironed napkins at breakfast table. Just for one day Tito was replaced for another person and we immediately saw the difference, the perfectionist touch was gone. The place is not the same without Tito. We really hope to see him again upon our next stay.

Since our first stay in 2018, the website prices have increased drammatically, while the facilities did not change on the same scale.

Spacious apartment with lovely balcony. Air conditioned and sea front location. Beach was literally just across the car park. Breakfast was provided and was good if a little limited in choice. Security was good and the location seemed safe. Service was good with daily change of bedding etc Strange system of having a shared refrigerator however it did work and we left several bottles of wine there without any problems. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very quiet which we liked.

This apartment had no cooking utensils so it was not possible to prepare one's own food which is not what we expect when booking an apartment. We asked for a bread knife and another sharp knife. The lodge is owned by a hotel group and needs to decide if this is self-catering accommodation or a hotel. We prefer to have our own cooking facilities so this was a negative for us. Entrance to our apartment was through double doors which did not appear very solid although we had no issues.

The property was a little further out of town than we expected, but it was just lovely. Tito greeted us with a friendly welcome and our room (5) was on the first level next to the lounge area and breakfast room. It had a wonderful view, was bright and airy, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with microwave and fridge and there was a door to close off that area from the bedroom. The shower room was good and the extra small bedroom was great for our luggage. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Tito who seems to work 24/7 and his staff really looked after us. The beach was a few steps down from the garden and we enjoyed walking on the coastal path. There were a couple of restaurants nearby which were good. Everything was excellent and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Easy to find. Right on a wonderful beach with others close by also. Delicious breakfast and a very comfortable bed! Fabulous coastline all around.

The sea view balcony was very narrow. Not large enough to sit out on. A lovely shower but a bath would have been nice. Slightly out of town. Had to drive rather than walk to the harbour / marina, main town shops and restaurants.

Beautiful sea view from a very comfortable room. Titto was most helpful in settling us in. Safe parking inside a garage. Quiet area with peaceful sleep. You need a car to get to the main town area for dinner and shops. Paved walkway for walks along the seaside.

Bathroom was a bit cold. Hairdryer too small. Loose carpets on the floors make folds when walking on them and could cause someone to trip.

Amazing location, right on Voelklip beach so the view was wonderful, watching and listening to the sea rolling in. Every morning, breakfast was simple but delicious - lovely fruit and yoghurt bowl, then a delicious cooked breakfast (if you wanted it). Tito and his team were great, and made our stay very special. We will be recommending the Hermanus Beachfront Lodge to our family and friends.

There was nothing within the control of Tito and his team that we did not like. Totally out of their control was the daily electricity load shedding, but there were plenty of torches provided for when this occurred.

Amazing location right on the best beach and lovely Tito who runs this boutique guest house lent us surf boards so great fun too! Breakfast very nice and views onto beach spectacular. Lovely 7km walk along immaculate and very safe cliff path to Hermanus. Supper out at Dickies was easy walk and delicious. The Hopside Down cafe does good pizzas and other easy food for lunch. 10/10 place to stay!

Any arrangements made were well handled

Small thing - I am a fussy tea drinker. We are used to buying fresh milk ourselves (even if extra and 'long life' milk only is provided at BnBs), so we don't mind if the team just says 'no' when I ask if fresh milk is provided (its not the same as box milk just kept in the fridge). We know the difference and bought it anyway so we can enjoy our tea the way we like :). Probably a small misunderstanding, but minor in the whole pleasant experience!

Beautiful room and very spacious. Mountains view room double the size of sea view room. Beautiful lounge and breakfast space overlooking the beach. Off street secure parking. Tito did everything and was a superstar

Access to bathroom quite dangerous as no handrail for steps down into it.
