Breakfast is excellent and the location of the hotel very convenient (very close to the train station). Staff is very polite and helpful. Bike rental is very easy and riding the streets of CPH couldn’t be easier. Rooms are comfy and clean.

During the weekend if windows are towards the main street, there might be some noise from people leaving the neighbourhood.

Cute decor- neat bar off of lobby. Great buffet breakfast. Soundproof rooms, thick curtains, big bathroom. Nice courtyard. They rent bikes but Booking didn’t say this. Friendly staff. My son liked the gym.

AC took a while to cool down room. Oh and I was traveling with a teenager but that’s not their fault. :)

Very friendly hotel with lovely staff, welcoming public areas to work and meet in, excellent breakfast and clean and comfortable room.

Room was noisy, as could hear other bathrooms and people moving around, could benefit from sound-proofing. Lack of evening / lunch time snacks was disappointing given the delicious breakfast. Helpful for those not always able/wanting to eat out.

Did have air con but didn't seem to be on and wasn't really need. Had a TV, fridge and kettle with cups, coffee, and teabags Great idea of the hotel where you can opt before 9:30 am to not have your room cleaned that day in exchange for DKR 100 bar voucher which we did for 2 of our 4 days. Well located for getting off the train after arriving the airport. Its only a very easy 15 min journey and costs about £3 each one way. Then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Also about a 10 minute walk to the town centre

The location of the property is perfect. Very close to the main train station so travel to and from the airport was a breeze. A bit of a walk to the main sites but since Copenhagen is such a beautiful city, you wouldn’t really mind the walk. Also, metro stations and bus stops are close by so you can opt to ride the public transport instead of walking.

The pillow (yes there was only one) was VERY thin. Also, while towels were changed daily, linens were not. We stayed 7 nights and the linens were never changed. It would have been nice if they changed the linens at least once. Also getting into and out of the shower (which was in the bathtub) can be challenging especially for seniors (like my mom who is 67), as there were no hand bars.

The staff are amazing. The hotel couldn't be cleaner and there is a real eco ethos. The hotel rewards guests who chose not to have their rooms serviced daily. The room couldn't have been comfier or better equipped. We had a fridge, kitchentte, coffee machine, a clothes steamer, and comfy robes along with all the normal hotel amenities. Breakfast lovely (if a little repetitive). Something for everyone and well stocked. Nice bar and outdoor courtyard. Whilst the outside street can be noisy, heard nothing once the window was shut.... Air con if you are too warm so you don't really need the window open.

The hotel is in the middle of the red light district. The girls are respectful and leave you alone but could be intimidating for some travellers. Breakfast is great but the same everyday. A little variation from day to day would be nice. Minor niggle, but couldn't work out how to turn down the under floor heating in the bathroom which made the room very warm.

Excellent location close to main station, a 15 minute train ride from airport & a few minutes walk to Tivoli Gardens & all attractions. Quiet corner location & room very bright & airy. About 7 minutes walk to Meat Packing area with many hip restaurants. Felt very safe. Staff were incredibly kind & were able to give lots of useful advice. Very good arrangements for breakfast, plenty of choice & lots of kitchen staff .

Couldn’t fault on anything! A true exemplar for a wonderful four night mid-week stay, thank you Hotel Absalon.

Located right by the central train station near the hip meat-packing district, this hotel was a great launchpad for exploring the city. Staff were knowledgable and friendly, and our room was a funky corner space with big windows and lots of light. We were happy to retreat back to the room after long days of walking around the city. Breakfast was good, although not as impressive as the breakfasts we'd just had in German hotels.

Some parts of the hotel were a little dated--old carpeting, scuffed floors--which is part of the charm, except when carpets were a bit musty (like in one stairwell). Breakfast was good but not amazing. In general, the hotel seemed quite expensive, but everything in Copenhagen was expensive on the dates we were there.

The hotel is lovely and is situated in a great location for the town. It had good restaurants and pubs within a five to ten minutes walk. The train station is right on the door step too. The room was lovely and clean. Quite spacious with everything you would need, it had robes and slippers in the room too. Breakfast was good but the scrambled eggs had cheese in them which I don't like . Various breads cold meats cereals etc. the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The area was quiet which we like as there was no street noise. We had a great time.

Nothing really

Spacious room on the first floor, with very comfortable beds and all amenities in place - iron with ironing table, kettle, cups, small fridge. Good continental breakfast with variety of tasty pastries available. You can also get a bonus for skipping the cleaning :) Also very helpful reception workers - they can help with restaurant reservations, suggest places around and help accessing the room after checkout if you forgot something :)

Breakfast could have more wider selection of sour hot options, as it was only sausages and scrambled eggs.
