I liked the location, the easiness and safety to get into the room (I had never done that kind of self check-in registering IDs, etc). I liked the room itself, the shower and toilet, everything very clean and big enough and nicely set-up/decorated. The bed was super comfortable, I slept very well.

There is no view at all, the window gives on a dark patio with ongoing works. There is unfortunately poor soundproofing of the walls, I could hear the neighbours opening their doors and talking very clearly. Also the sound of a cell phone and unclear conversation of the room next door.

It's my second time staying at "The Match" for work, and I'd certainly stay here again when back in Madrid. The room is clean and comfortable, with a good Wi-Fi connection and amenities such as an iron/ironing board, good hair dryer, TV, and AC. Communication is easy, as well as self check-in and check-out. The neighborhood offers plenty of coffee shops and restaurants and is conveniently close to two metro stations.

The stay was great, and to reach an even higher level, the room could benefit from small improvements such as a coffee machine, kettle, and small fridge.

A lovely modern and compact room with lots of different lighting options, given my room was in the basement so limited natural light from the window. Shower was great with option of rain shower or normal shower head. Bed was very comfortable and air con spot on! Was also able to check in much earlier after a change in my plans, which was great.

Limited suitcase space and holder not big enough for my case. Hot water available in reception area but no mugs to be able to make own drinks. No fridge facilities and limited space in the room overall (not a problem if only a short stay though).

Great double room with sofa in a beautiful, safe and fairly quiet neighbourhood. The bathroom is separate from bedroom by a glass wall, and (in type of room where we stayed) there were two windows with a mini 'balcony'. It was very comfortable and clean.

Things that would make this great are simple: more towels please, a coffee maker or a kettle and a small refrigerator.

It is a very efficiently designed room, feels very spacious and with good air conditioning. The room had things that hotels of the same type never have - hair conditioner, very good hair dryer, iron. Very comfortable self-check-in and check-out system. Free water cooler at the entrance! Great restaurants nearby!

It is a bit far from the main sightseeing places in Madrid but great to discover normal people lives. A bit confusing how to get there by public transport.

The room was spacious, comfy and clean. We had a bit of an issue with the self-check-in but the staff got on the phone with us right away and solved it pretty quickly. We liked the location because it was close to the subway to go to the airport. There are lots of restaurants and bars around and the area was not super busy.

We could hear noise coming from the other room which wasn't particularly annoying but it could be if someone comes very late at night.

The room is exactly as shown in the picture. I got there before the check in time but my room was ready and they let me in earlier (which was great). The bed is really comfortable, they have AC/heater which makes it perfect cause you come sweating from the street and have something to cool you down and some heating to sleep nice and cosy. The shower has a great water pressure and temperature. Nothing to complain, I would easily come back :)

Compact but organised room with everything you need, it's not too far to walk into some of the sights and is easy to connect to public transport. It's located in a very nice part of Madrid.

The self check in system wasn't good at scanning my passport but I was able to enter details manually.

I loved the check-in process! As someone with social anxiety, the self-check-in machine made it a breeze. No interactions needed, just a quick and easy way to get my room key. Highly recommended for stress-free arrivals!

We encountered a small problem with the sofa bed's missing sheets upon our late arrival. However, the cleaning staff promptly added the sheets the next day, resolving the issue.

The room was excellent. At first we were worried about being on the basement level but that was never a problem. A free water cooler in the foyer is a great extra touch.

It was a bit odd having the shower in the bedroom in a sealed cabinet behind the bed. Not a problem, but just felt a bit odd! The toilet did smell a bit funny at times and an air freshener in there would have solved the problem easily.
