The Elk Refuge was a wonderful inn with a rustic chic style that complements the wildlife and natural surroundings of Wyoming. Each room provided an amazing view of the National Elk Refuge across the highway, which was a beautiful sight to behold. The modern amenities and smart TV were great features. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff was very friendly, offering recommendations for nearby eateries. When we inquired about laundry facilities, we were delighted to learn that they were complimentary and even came with pre-organized laundry detergent and dryer sheets. This was a pleasant surprise! Overall, we will recommend The Elk Refuge to our friends and family, and we look forward to returning in the future.

This little property was so great for the price. Overlooking the Elk Refuge, the view is amazing and it is only a couple of minutes out of town. Our room had a nice balcony, two big beds, a dining table, a little kitchenette, and a bathroom down a little hall. The beds were really comfy, heating and cooling worked well and it was great to cook some meals. They had salt and pepper and cooling utensils. Shampoo and conditioner. There was also a guest laundry that was free to use with detergent provided.

It was a little on the older side, but clean and fantastic for the price and location.

Excellent value for the area. The room has everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep. It's a road side motel on the way into Grand Teton National Park so the location is what you are paying for. It's also only a 5 minute drive outside of downtown Jackson. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfy bed, nice view of the elk refuge, and cleanliness. There was a Keurig coffee maker in the room but you can also get a morning coffee at the convenience store and gas station that shares an access road and parking lot.

Can be a little noisy in the morning with all the traffic heading into the park.

This uninspiring motel is a gem. From the outside it doesn't look like much but inside is a room that is very spacious with a full kitchen (we didn't use it but it was nice to have just in case). Convenient location to Jackson. Noisy as it is right on the highway but I brought earplugs with me (I'm a light sleeper). They provided earplugs in packages which I thought was a crack up.

The refrigerator could have been colder but that is a problem with most hotels. I was sad that there were NO elk across the road in the Elk Refuge but you can't control animals.

Location and generally - very clean and comfortable. I am a photographer, so the location is excellent.

There was an old chip bag and other wrappers behind the headboard, the toilet was constantly running, (I finally fixed it). The thermostat had issues - One night I am not sure the heat ever came on. Room 106. but- I made due - Obviously it didn't bother me enough to call the desk or after hours number. But......really not ideal.

We had the handicapped room which was one of the largest rooms we had on our 24 day drive through the west. There was a cozy dinner area, a full kitchen, a living room and a bedroom in a different area of our suite. We were on the first floor but there was a convenient area in front of our room to have cocktails and enjoy the view of the elk refuge. We didn't see anyone in the reception area but they gave us the code to the room which was convenient.

That I could only stay here one night.

Great location. Clean. Amazing pillows and beds. The view watching Elk move each night from one side of the refuge to the other and back in the morning was calming and just beautiful in the snow. We saw 15-20 elk eating on the mountain behind our car each night as well. It was freezing but I drank coffee on the patio each morning & loved it! Great kitchenette and shower as well.

Office is not 34 hrs so was little confusing when needing to say something about out loud neighbors. But not an issue otherwise

This was by far the best experience we have had at a hotel or any stay away from home in a long time. The attention to detail was perfect. Everything was in order with plenty of supplies. The room was very clean and comfortable. The views of the Elk Refuge were great. The complimentary laundry was a huge bonus. The location worked great for us. It is very close to the both the park entrance and the town of Jackson without being right in the middle of the crowds.

Everything was excellent with attention to detail from a personalized greeting card and a bottle of Apple cider. Special makeup towel, free laundry, and a nice coffee bar in the room. The mattress was literally the best I have ever slept in, with comfy sheets and a great view of the elk refuge. The staff was friendly and helpful (I had issues with third-party bookings) The room was cozy with a wooden ceiling and nice blinds instead of black out curtains. I will go there every time I visit Jackson.

The location with the mtn view was fabulous.A well equipped kitchenette made it convenient to make breakfast or snacks. While it's an older propriety it was in excellent condition with an attractive decor which seemed updated..and beds were quite comfortable.

The tv is programmed to use the guest's streaming service...would have preferred access to network stations.
