The hotel is in a great location, staff are very friendly and helpful, there is an excellent gym and the room sizes are great - we also enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the hotel restaurant. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing negative to say...

This is a review of two halves; Location amazing for our needs. Most staff very helpful. Resturant food really good. Parking easy. Room clean (but see below). General layout very good. Gym great for our needs. Although I have a grumpy comment about bills (see below), the final bill was clear and supported with receipts which was actually really helpful.

Breakfast tariff complex and confusing. Self service breakfast area had filthy floor; just totally mad (everyone walking around with sticky goo on their feet; it's just so English not to complain!) All bills contain a "SERVICE" line item tucked away near the bottom which seems to be about 10%, then a great bit "Gratuity" line for you to fill in... Attempting double butty is cheeky; not nice. Room service every THREE days unless you ask for more is not good. Mini bar empty apart from 2 bottles of water. ONE single biscuit... Some staff just not helpful; helping us understand parking charges and enforcement was just more than they wanted to do.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. Modern and high end facilities, our family room was huge and had a view over the Mercedes-Benz world test track. The bathroom was really nicely done, the products provided also were nice to use. Breakfast buffet had good choice with cooked and continental options. My daughters loved pancakes from the pancake machine. The location is great right next to MB world and the Brooklands Museum which we also visited. It is a short drive/taxi ride to the nearest train station (Byfleet & New Haw) which is only 40 mins to London Waterloo. Much better value than staying in a Central London hotel.

The hotel charges customers who book through a third party (Booking.com) £14 per night for parking, but those who book direct don't have to pay. I think this is just plain unfair, a guest is a guest, surely it should just be factored into the cost displayed through the third party like breakfast was. The mattresses were a bit soft for our liking but ofcourse you can't suit everyone's preference.

Room was excellent and very, very friendly staff. The restaurant had some upgrades in decor and menu since we last went and these are excellent. Particularly the steak which they are now specializing in. Complimentary parking was absolutely appropriate - now the charges have been put in on the parking..

There were three Christmas parties going on the night we arrived, so it was busy. This was good except the two nights I stayed there was no parking spaces left for me to park in. So this was a problem -- I had to drive around for 15 mins, or longer to find a somewhere to leave my car. There was no plan or alternative from Reception Staff who said: "It is very busy tonight ...!"

I have stayed here before many times, and this time,it was good to see it is still a smart and contemporary venue. Reception was pleasant enough, and the breakfast service was as good as expected.

It's common place now in more commercial hotels to have a surcharge for some things that would be goodwill elsewhere.Maybe it's responsible cost cutting post covid etc.It can create a slightly sterile relationship and an element of raised eyebrows that may seem challenging for those who work here. You probably have fewer complementary items than you may expect in the room and extra fees for delivering room service and residents' car parking to add to that. Hopefully, your food to the room takes less time from the kitchen to you so as not to be tepid. I'm used to the wall dispensers in the bathrooms at these types of hotels now.I would assume there are fewer and fewer of those little bottles provided before in landfill or as souvenirs in your own bathroom.

All Brooklands Hotel Staff (Front of House, Bar & Wait Staff) I encountered were delightfully attentive, responding promptly and effortlessly to all requests. My room allocation was spot on too, just exactly as suited my personal needs. A modern, well designed and comfortable Hotel situated in close proximity to the famous Brooklands Museum, Mercedes-Benz World and surrounded by the historic Brooklands track, one of the most iconic Motor Sport venues in the world. Why not grab yourself a new Mercedes-Benz too before you leave!

Although the menu choices I made in both the Hotel's "1907" restaurant and Bar-Cafe were skillfully prepared and delicious, the Main Course range I found quite limited with, for my taste, a slightly exaggerated emphasis on sea-food and/or vegan dishes. That's really just me being a bit overly "picky" I confess. The only other issue was a plumbing problem caused by restricted flow drainage in my room's en suite basin and, more seriously, shower outlet which resulted in some bathroom floor flooding. This I immediately reported to reception who I'm sure would have alerted the Hotel Maintenance Crew to rectify for their next guest. I shall return!

Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and a great view of the track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The lovely lady I had in the spa for my gel pedicure was amazing, so friendly and interesting.

I know you are trying to be green but I found the lack of bags in the bins, especially the bathroom a little disappointing. We were there for 2 nights and no housekeeping to top up coffee etc., although we could have asked reception it would have been nice for this to be automatic, also for a couple of packs of biscuits on the tray would be good, especially for the price of the room.

Booked a room over the race track which we enjoyed.Lots of action on the Monday morning Dinner was most enjoyable and staff attentive Breakfast not quite as good. Coffee was fresh but coffee pots were small and we had to continually chase staff for another pot

It was my husband's 80 the birthday and my daughter had ordered a bottle of champagne to be left in our room. Luckily she had informed me of this as the message read Happy Birthday from the staff at the Brooklands with no mention of her name. Reception desk was very dismissive of this and I would never have known to thank her if she had not contacted me before our visit

We were upgraded to a much larger room which was huge. Very comfortable and quiet too. As an electric car driver it was also good to see several charge points though only the slow chargers were actually working? Not the hotels fault I know, rather BP ChargeMaster's.

As a vegetarian I thin the breakfast could be a bit more Vegan/Veggie friendly. The Veggie sausages were dreadful and tasted like Paxo stuffing made to look like sausages. Not very imaginative. It would be far better to use Quorn sausages for example. Not much choice for Vegans/Vegetarians.

Breakfast was good although not that hot. The serving room was small and led to congestion especially if you wanted bread or toast

Attention to detail in the room was poor. The shower waste outlet was not level with the floor and caused a sharp edge against your foot. The waste for the shower was unable to cope with the flow of water, which led to flooding. The room has a deep clean every 2 days, fine, but the room was not made up on a daily basis. Therefore, the bed was unmade, coffee/tea not replenished. We were able to collect more from reception, but for the price that we paid for the room, I would expect better. Breakfast was an extra cost, but to charge the guest for car parking - outrageous.
