The Touchstone Inn is absolutely beautiful. We Loved The Mabel #5 and look forward to future getaways here. The grounds are lush and wonderful. Nestled on the North side of the Taos theme park vibe makes the Inn desirable - close to the city, but away from the tourist madness. The blessing is that is located along the edge of Taos Pueblo and the happy Pueblo stream. We were fortunate enough to have afternoon thunder showers that elevated the scent of nature. We romantically cuddled in the hammock, walked barefoot in the grass, enjoyed our meals on our patio table and appreciated the thought that went into the rooms accommodations. It is truly Peaceful. The king size bed was firm and soft with great pillows and blankets. The jacuzzi tub was a treat and the showers water pressure was solid. We never watched TV and phone service is bbest outside - making this a perfect place to to unplug the crap we are all so consumed with. The good energy we felt from our hosts - Bren, Adrianne, William, & Morris was genuine and made us feel like we were visiting good friends. Utilizing Booking.com provided us with a great rate and easy transaction process.

The location is nice and quiet.
There is 3 different floor levels. Step down to a sink and bathtub. Step up to go to bathroom. Might not be the best choice for older people.

It was the most wonderful place I have stayed. The large deck balcony was a huge bonus. I relished every moment out there.

The staff met us upon arrival and were very nice! We were on the top floor which I think was the 3rd floor. They have beautiful grounds and a beautiful balcony
There was no ice machine, no air conditioning and the steps were very steep

Quiet
The bed was a full not a queen and the room smelled of mold. Did not have the amenities one has at a regular hotel. A coffee pot provided no coffee. Stairs leading up to the room were steep and unsteady

did not see the entire property. we were downstairs. really beautiful rooms nicely decorated but not so well organized. great beds!! great products
lack of lighting in the parking lot. locks for the doors were hard to use. no heat much of the time. in the end everything was fixed except for the locks
