this is a gorgeous hotel, situated near the Norfolk Harbor and within a block of the Naticus Museum. Onsite parking garage is attached to the hotel and very easy to self park and check in. The hotel was fabulously decorated for Christmas during our visit and all 3 restaurants on site were very good. Casual Rooftop Grain is great for lunch or drinks with a view, Saltine was lovely for dinner and the Breakfast served in hotel cafe was very good. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The TV was difficult to deal with, no channel guide and no instructions how too use the complicated TV system , but that was the only minor problem.

Chose this location based on prior solo stays as well as staycations as a couple and a family. I love the restaurants. Building always has great vibes with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of places to take photos. 3rd floor has conference rooms and great decor. I made special request during the booking- all those request were honored (which hardly ever happens no matter how far in advance I book). Incredibly accommodating front desk staff. Loved the pool. Room was spacious and looked just as advertised. Couch was very dirty though. I refused to sit on it or even put my clothes or suitcase on it. That couch should definitely be removed immediately. We paid for the breakfast that comes as an added fee when booking- I could’ve done without it. It would be better to just pay a la carte when dining in for breakfast. The prices are reasonable and selection is slightly better than what was offered as their continental breakfast. Paying for parking was the only downside. Parking was the standard daily price but I think it’s just too expensive. Definitely paying for convenience and security of your vehicle though. I wouldn’t recommend parking on too many of the streets overnight in the area.

I Loved the staff, the restaurants, the art work, the variety, and the location. This was not my first time, I will return again but probably only in the corner rooms that have nice showers.

The bathroom tub in executive room 2117 was not the cleanest and very outdated. The executive rooms should have a modern large clean tub shower combo or just the modern sleek stand up showers like you have installed in the corner rooms . Next time I will be reluctant to pay extra to stay in executive suite if I have to settle for a mediocre bathing atmosphere.

View was fantastic and the bed was comfortable it was right across the street from my work Christmas party

Of all the elevators there were only two running and one of the nights we had to wait in line to use the service elevators. Then, on our check out, we had to wait over ten min to catch the elevator with both our arms packed with luggage, and then still ended up having to use the service elevator again.

The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The public spaces were beautiful. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view. The coffee bar was wonderful. We ate at Saltine and Grain. Both restaurants served delicious food. We were even fortunate enough to watch fireworks from Grain.

One of the valet staff spoke impolitely to our bell hop in front of us. It was embarrassing to the young man to whom he was speaking as well as to us. We asked housekeeping for towels one day and did not get them. The front desk made sure we got them the next day after I called about it.

Beautiful view from my very nice room. The staff was very nice and the location was perfect for dining in the downtown district. First time visitor in Norfolk, will definitely come back for a vacation spot.

Nothing to put here except maybe a little pricey. But it was well worth it! Escalator down from 4th floor meeting space was not working so you had to wait a short time for elevators. No real complaints to be given.

The pool was awesome. The view was magnificent. The staff, the artwork, the vibe of Grain, the location, ALL great!

Our stay would have been perfect if not for the absolute disaster it was to wait for the elevators. The elevator system is too slow for such a high capacity area with lots of foot traffic. I feel that should be one of the highest priorities of the hotel. It was the one thing all of the guests could be heard complaining about. That's such an inefficient inconvenience for an otherwise, wonder trip.

The man that checked us in took extra precautions to make sure our room was right after having a hard time finding the reservation because of the booking.com ref number not lining up. We got in late (almost midnight) and very much appreciated the extra care and consideration.

The hotel and local city was lovely. The beds were so comfortable and the hotel was close to the airport and our destination. We liked everything.

I didn't like the fact that we couldn't have a late check out after spending $600 for one night We could at least had a late checkout. The staff was not very friendly It seemed like they didn't really want to wait on you especially the young lady that was at the front desk on Saturday doing check-in She seemed like she wanted to stay on the phone for about 30 minutes I don't even think she was talking to anybody to be honest she just didn't want to wait on us seem very snooty

The room size was good, the view from the 19th floor was superb, excellent location near the riverfront. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Good linens and towels. Everyday housekeeping, very thorough. Welcoming and helpful staff. Public parkibg on site with good rates (13$ per day).

A bit lacking on amenities, I did expect more from a 5* Hilton hotel, like a makeup mirror in the room, creams and soaps, bathrobes, complimentary breakfast, and so on, that were absent.
