The breakfast was very good. The location was in a nice area, close to our conference centre, very close to train and bus stations to visit the city as well.

Bed was two single beds put close to each other, so sleeping was not comfortable as a couple. There were no slippers in the room, and when I asked the reception, they said they don't have. Also, we asked them to reserve a taxi for us to go the airport and found out the next day that they didn't do that. They reserved the taxi at that moment and we had to wait 5 minutes for that to arrive. Thankfully there was enough time for our flight, but still I found it very disrespectful that they didn't do the reservation when asked.

We had an amazing stay in Porto! The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist us with our early arrival, making us feel truly welcome from the start. The value for money here is outstanding, offering an excellent balance of price and quality. Our room exceeded expectations—it was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a cosy, inviting atmosphere. The location was another highlight: it felt safe and was conveniently close to a metro station, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend it!

The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, and there was no "do not disturb" sign in the room. While we could have requested one at reception, having it readily available would have been more convenient. These were minor issues, though, and we still highly recommend staying at Portus Cale!

The staff is very nice and helpful. They are always willing to help you with what you need. Kudos to all of them!

The ckeck in is very late. Of course, everything was anounced beforhand, it is on their page on Bookig, but still. I had an early flight, did not sleep all night and they told me the check in is after 2 PM. Good thing I have friends in Porto, I went to someone's home to get some rest. Other than that, evenrything was fine.

The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and clean. The location is convenient, as both metro and bus stations are nearby. The place is peaceful and calm. The staff is attentive and quick when providing assistance.

Some noice from the traffic lights sound signal (that beep that indicates the light is green or red por pedestrians), which was the only noise to feel at night (the place is quiet). Improving the noise proof windows could help.

The room was quite large and comfortable. I was able to work on-line with no problems. The bathroom too was a good size. Nice breakfast. We also asked for an iron and ironing board which was promptly delivered to our room

The air-conditioning was not working properly most of the time we were there. I ended up opening a window at night because it was too hot and was bitten by mosquitos as a result. We reported the problem 3 times.

The reception was clean and so were the rooms. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels were changed. The size of the room was good.

The air con was pretty poor I'm both rooms. It looked like air con from about 50 years ago. It didn't cool the room well at all and as it was in August, this wasn't ideal. There were no teaspoons in the room for the tea and coffee facilities and instead wooden spatulas.

Very nice the hotel is located very close to the Boavista

The elevator are quite small it was a bit weird.

Staff were awesome very helpful and accommodating and were following wearing the mask strictly. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. No in hotel restaurant but there are a couple of places right next door that are pretty good. Bar is onsite not a lot of options but sufficient to wet your whistle late in the night or that final last call. Quite close to public transportation, metro at casa da musica and bus stop right next door.

Shower and toilet were a bit cramped, If you are a heavy person you might have a bit of trouble getting in and out of the the shower . Room is a bit noisy if there is heavy traffic.
