Thanks very much Henry & Christine for hosting us!! We loved our Scottish brecky and your warm hospitality and humour. Your high standard of service and care was much appreciated. We very much enjoyed our breakfast travel packs of goodies for the early drive back to the ferry. Beautiful hot showers and a lovely clean room. Room service with a daily supply of fresh towels and milk/biscuits whilst out was an unexpected happy surprise. Warm regards, Brock & Tamara

Nothing - we felt very well looked after!

Mr and Mrs Innes were very friendly and keen for us to enjoy our stay. Far enough out of town to be quiet but still walkable into town. Advised us where to get our evening meal and even tried to phone. Gave us recommendations on where to visit. Facilities in the room were very good and comfortable bed. Breakfast was requested to be preordered the previous evening which was ok with us - delicious and freshly cooked. Got our car safely parked in their drive. Would thoroughly recommend.

The accommodation was easy to find and easy use of the car park. Great location close to shops and a short walk to the main front of Stornoway. The hosts were so so lovely and LGBTQI+ friendly. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, classically homely. The room was bigger than expected and is the best sleep we've had this whole trip! The room and bathroom were immaculate, with plenty of storage and a great selection of teas and coffees. The breakfast was exceptional and the hosts catered to our vegan diet without fuss.

The room was warm and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and helpful. There was reasonable choice of breakfasts, nicely cooked and presented and available from relatively early, which suited me as a walker needing to make an early start on occasions. The location is a little out-of-town, but I enjoyed the 15 minute walk down to a restaurant and back of an evening. Easy parking and good access to roads north and south.

The best place we have stayed at so far on our trip through Scotland. We were well looked after, had an exceptional breakfast and a lovely room.

When we arrived nobody was there and nobody anseered the telephone. After some time we were able to get into touch.

The hosts are lovely people and the breakfasts excellent. Our room was bigger than at most B&Bs, spotless and comfortable. Our window overlooked our hosts' garden and fenced yard. One night we treated ourselves to a picnic on the garden bench and gazed at the flowers and the sky. We stayed two nights on a small-group tour, and it was easy for the van to drop us off and pick us up. If there's time, hike up the hill above Manor House to the war memorial, its column set high so that every area of Stornoway sees a tribute to its own fallen soldiers of WWI and II.

The host Christine was very accommodating and served a lovely breakfast. She also made us a lovely breakfast snack for our journey on the last day (we had to leave very early for the ferry from Tarbert). Our room was spotless.

Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.

Despite our arrival on the late ferry the hosts were very friendly and helpful. A good position for looking at the town and travelling out. A good walk to the war memorial up the road (good view) and organised walks around the town.

All fine.
