It's such a lovely place. Villa with private pool is so nice and well equipped. They give even mosquito spray as a standard. Staff is very friendly and helpful. For another day I took a tent which is even more charming than a villa, but there is no private pool. Anyway, it's not big deal as you just open a door from your private garden and you are exactly on the main pool where you can good drinks in reasonable price or even better in happy hours (180 bht or something). Very close to the beach where you have nice bars and good massage starting from 350bht. Close to 7/11 and some local foods like fried banana or roti. I wish I could stay longer even if it was our most expensive accommodation in Thailand, but you really get what you pay for there.

Perfect place to relax. Super close to the beach where there is plenty of restaurants in walking distance which are also really good. We didn’t have any problem in our 7 day stay! 🤩 Nadear was our receptionist who’s really helpful and full of positive energy. She helped us with everything that we asked for. The thing that is super convenient is that you can contact her on WhatsApp anytime, if there is any trouble she will always help you. In our stay we had breakfast included. The staff might not understand well but if you would repeat yourself or ask for extra stuff they will make it happened.☺️ There is one lady working on the meals so sometimes you need to be a little bit patient with your food but it’s always coming fresh and warm. Also you have a small buffet on the side where you can take juice, fruits, bread, sweet bread and even make your own breakfast granola with delicious yogurt. There is a typical island vibe what we loved !! We were living in little bungalow, took shower under the stars, listen the morning birds and watching how the sun goes up ✨ The only one minus on our stay was the mosquitoes. If you pick Koh Samui be ready for them! We stayed for 3 nights in the luxury tents. Camping on a completely different level. The bathroom which is located outside of the tent gives a special feeling when taking a shower under the stars. Tom, the manager, was very friendly and communicative and in the evening, after he finished working, he even had time for a duell on the pool table. P.S. he is very talented :)

In the tent where some insects but it did not bother us too much since it is a tent and no closed hotel room.

Lovely tents with comfortable bed and nice furnishings. Friendly and helpful manager and staff who couldn't do enough for you. Arranged outings and taxi service for us. Loved the secluded garden the tent was in so nice and private.

Live,loud and awful music from restaurant every evening but this is managed by different company so nothing to do with the resort, who's morning breakfast staff don't know the rules about no children allowed in the pool . Resort manager had to sort it out.Wanted to eat and talk to my friends so we only ate in the restaurant once.

One of the aspects we loved most about Khwan is that it's not part of a big chain. This added a personal and authentic touch to our experience. We loved the luxury tent! It felt exotic but was also so comfortable! The outside bathroom was amazing! The hotel staff was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly and the onsite restaurant was pretty and had a good selection of food. We had a wonderful dinner by the pool. The pool area itself was also very pretty and relaxing.

The hotel has a quiet after 10pm rule which is good because sound really travels between the tents. We had a larger group staying beside us coming home from the bars in the early hours and that was too bad. Might be a better resort for couples than partiers!

The staff is very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist team - Annie, Niel, Phyo and Phoom and the make up room cleaning team as well. As I came alone and it was my first trip, thus everyone will render help to me when I need it. They do help me in taking photos. A good memory to have my birthday solo trip in Samui. I love the pool that it was so close to my unit. Once the door opens, I see the pool. Every morning I love to do my book reading at the pool side bench and swim after my reading. My first experience to shower under the sky and coconut trees. Amazing even if it is outdoors, I still can shower with warm water at night after my swim.

The thing that can be improved is the air conditioning is not cold enough especially in the afternoon. It is a little hot for me if I stay inside the tent/room, I felt warm and not able to sleep soundly or do my book reading. Secondly the lighting is not bright enough to do book reading at night inside the room. Hopefully it can be improved and would love to go back again.

The 'tents' are really great, big beds, air con, beautifully decorated and lots of storage space. The outdoor bathrooms are lovely, our shower was under a big banana tree! Each room has it's own private garden which is very peaceful and lots of places to lounge. The main pool area has lots of sun loungers and a lovely pool - it's not huge but it's much bigger than expected and perfect for cooling off. The beach is just 2 minutes walk so you can move between beach and pool all day.

The on-site restaurant is great, the food is really high standard, but it's quite expensive for breakfast - so it's perfect for an evening meal or a drink by the pool but we found much cheaper breakfast on the beach.

The staff was super helpful and easily reachable in WhatsApp. They helped us book taxi, boat tickets, rented scooters etc. Very attentive people! The tent itself was unique experience and outdoor shower under starry sky super nice! Good amenities, e.g. bathrobe and mosquito spray, didn’t really feel anything was missing.

The location is nice but if you prefer to be in the middle of things, it’s not for you. Definitely requires scooter. The restaurant is nice to have dinner on a rainy evening if you don’t wanna leave, BUT it also meant a lot of noise. We didn’t feel it was a calm relaxing environment in the evening/nighttime.

Beautiful resort with amazing staff. Every single member of their team we spoke to were great from the restaurant, reception, massage therapists to the cleaners. They’re quick to help and offer support when needed. The rooms are beautiful and are exactly like the photos. The pool area is great too. We managed to book in a massage which was sooo relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone travelling to Koh Samui to check them out.

Mosquitos - because of the outdoor environment there are a lot of them that get into the room. They do have mosquito nets around the bed but maybe the plug ins would help this too? We did what we could with repellent. Location wise - it is a little out of the way. There are some lovely restaurants located near by however if you want to get into any hot spots or travel anywhere that requires a taxi compared to the other islands taxis are expensive wether you book yourself or through the hotel.
