The staff is so friendly and helpful and accommodated us when United changed our flight home by 2.5 hours messing up our plans to return to Athens. The food is quite good considering the small kitchen/bar, the views are perfect, our rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. You are just a little isolated from transportation (they do have a shuttle but it doesn't run frequently) so it's advised to get a car or just know taxis are expensive. You can walk to Megalochori in about 15 minutes to get a bus. We would stay there again, as it's not in an area overrun by tourists or cruise people and the staff really shines here. Good value.

The view is spectacular. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was great, away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities, but still very close to everything especially if you have a rental car. Breakfast was excellent - lots of options and very generous portions. The staff and service were wonderful.

The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been more drinking water provided in the room each day. We did ask for more, but were charged fore it. We ended up buying drinking water for the room from a local grocery store which was fine, but it would have been great if more drinking water had been included.

I enjoyed everything about this place. The location is very nice, best view from all the places starting from the swimming room to the reception and the room. When it comes to the staff, then I must say that they are the most friendliest ever. The welcomed us from outside of the hotel the moment the taxi stopped, took us inside and gave us welcome wine, a map of the place and explained to us the history of the place including best places to visit and so on. They also called the tours which I booked to confirm the pickup location and time. They also have a free shuttle service to take you from hotel to the best places in the city and back to the hotel. During my girlfriend’s birthday they gave her a gift which was not expected and made her happiness double!! When it comes to the room then it is extremely clean, very big and the balcony is just ooOf, I swear nothing better than that. The air condition was also working nicely, the TV and Wi-Fi. When it comes to the food it was really extremely tasty, they prepare it upon order so that it is fresh, warm and no food wastage. You can always order as much as you want and they will give you the food in your room or near the swimming pool, according to your preference. I must say this place is definitely exceptional snd worth it and I would rate it 100/10 and definitely if I come again, I would go there and I would recommend it to everyone. Staff - very welcoming, friendly and attentive to every single request, as well as assisting with suggestions where to visit/eat/shop around the island Rooms - first of all, CLEAN! Very large with plenty of storage and seating space. Amazingly comfortable and large bed, TV has a respectable amount of channels. Nespresso machine (daily refiff if capsules) and kettle, along with the required glassware. Beautifully designed bathrooms and a huge shower as well! Breakfast - served in-room or at the pool-side bar. Ample options to choose from, and served at an hour of your choosing View - no words…the most incredible caldera/sea view, from every room…and the subset is simply breathtaking Location - perfect for people who prefer a stay in a calm/quiet area, yet only a short drive away from every type of attraction/hotspot around the island Pool - beautiful, perfect temperature, ample seating, beds and shade all around…and the caldera/sea view is nothing less than stunning Bar - plenty of snacks and fresh juices available, quick service and fairly prices as well Fitness - outdoor fitness has plenty of shade, and the constant gentle breeze allows to work out at all times, eeven when it’s hot outside

I was recommended this hotel last year on a previous trip to Santorini in November 2023. A local guide told me and I quote ‘This is the best hotel in Megalochori’, so I booked two rooms to accommodate six people without really knowing what to expect. Let me tell you, it was hands down the best hotel experience I've had in all my years of travelling. My friends and I got served local Santorini sweet wine upon check-in, the rooms were spotless, had all the basic amenities and were cleaned daily. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing. The gym facilities had all you needed for a decent workout with the bonus of a view. The pool was decent and came with a beautiful view of the island. We had the option of eating breakfast in our room or out by the pool and the restaurant staff paid attention to what we ordered daily. The hotel has a free bus service that takes you into Fira and the local beaches we utilised (and they even offered to take my friends and me to a few locations nearby to avoid us walking in the sun). And finally, the staff. The staff at this hotel went the extra mile for my friends every single time, and they made our entire experience memorable I know if I'm ever back in Santorini, I will be staying here again.

A distance from village square so dining is a bit limited. We walked and used good public bus system.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. The view from all the rooms is spectacular: an absolutely top-notch Santorini sunset view without the large tourist crowds. An excellent breakfast served to our private balcony with this view was a real highlight of every day. We also liked the peaceful location of the hotel a lot. It's about a 1.0 km walk from a small town center with many excellent tavernas, but still far enough from the big crowds of tourists. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Very tiny things, as it was amazing. Pillows could have been better (firmer) and pool could have been warmer. Also would be great if hair conditioner was provided But we are really being picky here as you asked - these are tiny things.

Best holiday ever worth every penny the view from our balcony was stunning could see the sun set every night they have the nicest interior the room was modern spacious and very clean had a mini kitchen area and sofa area housekeeping would check everyday if you needed more towels or water stocked after cleaning the room The food that Maria the cook makes is restaurant standard would get room service most days because of her food was amazing The staff Andreas,anna and Eleftheria were the most attentive people I have ever met always looking after you with a smile on their face lovely people the manager kyriakos was great he looks after everyone he would help us plan activities and book them for us with transport sorted out they take care of everything for you to make your stay relaxing and check on how you are everyday if you enjoyed the activities and give recommendations the pool and restaurant area is beautiful with a view of the ocean and sunset in the evening the hotel is in a quiet town compared to fira which has lots of tourists and hotels but I am so glad we booked it as all the famous towns and beaches are about 15 min drive from each other and you have the best view of the sunset so you don’t even need to visit oia for the sunset where it is very crowded truly a luxurious holiday staying at caldera would recommend to everyone wanting to visit Santorini and I’ll definitely be coming back

Used earbuds in bathroom on arival. Noisy dehumidifier constantly on in room. The room was very small. There were no 'Do Not Disturb' signs for doors, which gives uncertainties to when staff enter without notice/knocking.
