SPA was very limited. but enough for short stay. Room was as we expected. Great location, close to Rotorua downtown but quite, close to main attractions in the region. Easy access to the beach and walking path

Very week internet access in our room. Selection of breakfast and dinner menues very poor. It is better to organize more cost effective buffet breakfast and extend menue for the dinner. Extra charge for Credit cart payment was quite a surprise - never sow something like that, BOOKING.COM should put the information about this.

The location by the lake was scenic. We enjoyed sitting outside on the outdoor setting as a family. It was great having access to a washing machine and dryer. Room was comfortable.

The property needs maintenance - regrouting in shower recess, spa, sauna area needs revamping, grass around pool needs mowing.

It was absolutely splendid and located in such a wonderful spot of Rotorua. My hubby and I spent our honeymoon here in the superior suite which was spacious, clean and cosy with a comfortable king bed and wonderful spa bath. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere there was warm and welcoming. I am a lover of sunsets and didn't know until we arrived, of the spectacular clear and perfect view you get to see of the sunset from the facility. We didn't get a chance with the sauna, jacuzzi, dining or massage treatment that they offer due to our own arrangements but we look forward to doing so in a warmer season. I highly recommend this place to relax and unwind. We will certainly stay here over and over again. Thank you Wai Ora. 10/10 🫶

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. Quiet too despite the tour group on the second night. Lovely location. The desk staff were very friendly.

2 things happened. First, when we were given the key to our room we opened it to find it had not been made up. The admin staff member was very apologetic and had another room right away available for us. Second, on arriving back to the room after a day out the cleaning staff had been in and not only had they left the door unlocked, it was also ajar. Once again the admin staff member was apologetic. The cleaning staff just need to be more on the ball - an unmade room is nothing much but leaving a guest's door open is a bit of a security breach. However, I would stay there again and would recommend it to other travellers.

I absolutely loved my room 21, private end room overlooking the lake with a balcony. The guy there at reception that greeted us was on point, he was on the bar, restaurant and served us tea, he mentioned he was only there for a week, he deserves credit for all he does. I ordered seafood chowder entree but received seafood chowder main where he didn't charge me full price as the chef who is new made a mistake. I had a good stay. Thanku 😀

Mattresses and bed bases outside on lawn in front of rooms and the carpet was still damp from being carpet cleaned. Also some power points didn't work.

Everything it was an amazing stay, Beautiful Kai worth every cent spent 😋😄 my baby was so comfortable and happy she enjoyed her cot, and she settled so well, we would definitely be booking again in the future and will be coming back, Great location lake view and the staff was so amazing, super quick with the room service and the food! Omg was soooo good, beautiful and nice and hot when food arrived to room, the spa was soo good 👍 baby enjoyed all the bubbles hahaha but yes great place would definitely recommend to others and family thank you 😊

Attractive room and comfortable. Good location by the lake. Nice spa. Warm greeting from reception. Appreciate the use of a washing machine and dryer. Relaxing furniture by the pool and outside the rooms. Staff friendly particularly the young lady we registered with.

We were misled regarding use of the washing machine by 2 staff. We were told we could use it between 8am and 9 am. However another guest alerted us that he had put his name on a roster booking the washing machine at 8am. That was after I commenced use of the washing machine. The pool looked as if it has seen better days.

The receptionist was the bomb. I dont knkw what he gets paid but i feel like its not enough he was just so efficient and on to it. And every other staff member i interacted with we very kind and helpful. It really really set the tone of a weekend getaway from the second i stepped on the property. The receptionist appeared, as if out of no where, the moment i entered to check in. I got a bit lost on my way to bring my luggage and a very lovely lady from the spa side of the resort enthusiastically helped me find my way. I needed to get a late check out and the staff present in the reception at the time made that quick and very easy. I was a disorganised mess, if im being honest, and the staff were nothing but helpful kind and reassuring. My partner and i went for a swim in the heated pool and enjoyed the sauna thoroughly! As well as the lakeside walk in the evening. Even when it was raining, the scenery was so beautiful. Everything about this place from start to finish was so relaxing

The staff were so accommodating. We hosted a Bachollette Party at the resort. They allowed us such flexibility to set up the restuarant . Food was delicious . The rooms very comfortable..suit has stunning views . Lovely lake walk , warm pool perfect for kids as its shallow next to spa pool and sauna . Cold pool has stunning views. Accommodation had everything we needed. And it's very affordable. We are booking to come back in a few months. Cant wait !

The Sauna wasn't working, however the manager was very efficient with trying to get it to work , so customers service was outstanding that I didn't mind the sauna not working. The Salad we brought had very gee scallops and no orange.. but the other 7 meals turned out perfect and yummy. Wish we booked two nights not just one.
