Lovely boutique hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, right in the middle of everything, location is 11/10. Great breakfast and an Allround pleasant experience. Has a fridge which is always a big plus in Europe.

The only downside was that we were there when it was hot (no airconditioning) and there is no lift (we were on the 3rd floor with a lot of international luggage). Not really issues just something to be aware of. Having a fridge and the awesome location more than made up for it.

The location was good. Close to the places I wanted to be (river, cafes etc) but not so close that it was too noisy from all of the tourists. The room was lovely and spacious.

My room was a corner room with 2 windows on each side which was great for light. However it was really hot when I was there and there was a great breeze that came through when I opened the windows but not of them had latches on them that stopped them from banging around when the wind caught them and I was afraid they glass would smash so had to close them at one point. This really didn't work and could be a simple fix to support some good airflow in the room. Other than this it was pretty good. Staff were a bit short but I found this was the standard Czech temperament so was fine overall. Would have loved eggs with breakfast and a hot drink option that wasn't caffenated.

Been here three times! We love this hotel very much because its location is the most ideal in the city! And also the relationship between price and location. We do not have breakfast at this hotel, although breakfast is included. He is very modest and we prefer to have breakfast in the cafe on the square. The rooms are very large with large comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. The rooms are antique as the hotel is 500 years old. We love this authentic atmosphere.

Great location . The hotel is right next to the astronomical clock and near many attractions and restaurants also close to the shopping street The rooms are typical old style which is nice The stairs to the rooms are pretty hard if you’re older or have children and lots to carry so be aware of climbing stairs.Ask for the first floor if at all possible. The staff is super friendly. the rooms are clean. If possible order without the breakfast.It’s not worth staying there to eat. We did it one time then we went out for breakfast. That is why I deduct one point .Very small selection and not so good at that. I would stay here again because of the closeness to everything.

The breakfast

Location could not be better, at the corner of the main square in old town. Room (19) was enormous and clean and comfortable, heating, bathroom, everything worked. Staff were helpful and very friendly. There are extra charges for mini bar and tea coffee but they are not expensive. Breakfast didn't look great, neither the food nor the tiny soulless breakfast room appealed, so I didn't partake. But with so many places to eat and drink on your doorstep, you really don't need to eat at the hotel!

The hotel itself is divided into two parts. There are rooms along with the reception and breakfast area in one building the other is around the corner. Its an old hotel with windy stairs and no elevator but it's lovely. The room I stayed was clean and had everything anyone would need. The shower was wonderful and hot. Plenty of radiators there, the room was very warm as Prague was very cold . The breakfast was delicious as was the coffee . The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful and the reception is 24 hrs open. Very safe The hotel is in a great location right around the corner from the main square and the astronomical clock. Its perfect for everything. Restaurants, shops bars are right there. I highly recommend this hotel. It's a great price and it's wonderful

Nothing

I was nervous after reading some of the reviews but this location cannot be beat, the building is a UNESCO heritage site, the beds incredibly comfortable, housekeeping did a great service and the staff was very responsive. We did run the fan at night for white noise due to rowdy, late night tourists walking by. A complimentary European breakfast is served which might throw some Americans but I thought it was good.

The shower water fluctuates sometimes from cold to scalding.

We booked this very last minute with not a lot of knowledge about Prague so we were delighted when it was just round the corner from the main square. The room was also very spacious

There were stairs and lots of them as we were on the third floor but no regret

.We loved this place! Historic building, loft appartment was extremely spacious, wonderful location on the edge of the Old City Square. If you can't handle lots of narrow stairs, don't book the loft.

Not enough power points next to the beds to.charge devices overnight

The staff was friendly and pleasant. The rooms had comfortable beds, and the WiFi connection was excellent.

The room needs cleaning. There is dust in the corners of the carpet.
