Our stay couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Michelle and were given a map of Apollo Bay, and even better a slip of paper with all the eateries in the main strip. Advice on seafood - where to go etc. The accommodation was super clean and everything worked. The spa was our drawcard, and it was big enough for two, had heating in the bathroom and body wash, shampoo and nice towels. (which were exchanged every day as we stayed three nights). The front door of unit 1 garden spa had a little patio on which was a table and chairs where we had breakfast every morning and listened to the surf directly across from us. Our room had a toaster, kettle, microwave and cutlery, plates etc and a little fridge. All super clean! - we took a little electric frypan with us so Otway eggs and bacon in the morning accompanied by bread from the local bakery was a perfect start to the day. We hadn’t realised we were so close to the beach and had neglected to bring beach towels, and while I’m sure it's not something a guest should expect, our host lent us a couple of towels for the day. The flat screen TV was in position where you could watch it from the couch or from the bed. (We enjoyed both). It was a smart TV so we could watch Netflix and the Wi-Fi was perfect. The unit was close enough to walk into town but far enough away to avoid the school holiday tourist noise. Parking onsite was secure. There's usually something that doesn’t work, or there's a downside, and that's part of travel and holidaying. But I honestly have to say these guys have nailed it. PS - almost forgot! I'd left an item in the room, and they were more than happy to post it back to me. We'll be back. Thank you.

The room was spacious and clean and well appointed just across the road from the bay with a beautiful view of the hills and bay. It was close to everything and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with an electric blanket for extra warmth if needed.It was nice to have a laundry with washing machine and dryer on site that we could use to wash our clothes as we were travelling over 2 weeks m- it only cost $2. We had access from our room to a little patio with a small table and 2 chairs so it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Handy walk to pubs, restaurants, cafes etc. Love Apollo Bay.

Quick and friendly check-in and a nice clean room with balcony and view to the ocean - we loved that. It was a bit too cold to sit outside, but with the bug screen we were able to enjoy some fresh ocean air inside the room. The room is big, nice bathroom and a fridge to store wine or beer. Beds were comfy and we slept quite well. The location is nice - walking distance to the restaurants - we of course opted for the southern-most pub on Australia's main-land (at least that's what they claim).

If you have an upstairs room like we did, be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. Parking places are on the smaller side.

Great value accomodation, clean, modern, and perfectly located, you really can’t go wrong here. I booked the spa room to relax after doing the Great Ocean Walk and it was perfect! The shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided was nicer than most hotels, and the towels were thick and plush. I booked last minute and was relieved to find a staffed reception area with incredibly friendly service. The vibe of the place was great and I felt as though I could reach out for any issue. If you’re looking for accomodation along the Great Ocean Road, this is a great spot! Very highly recommended!

I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like to be honest.

This was the best surprise hotel on our 30 day trip through Australia. It is an old style motor inn owned by real people. not a corporation. They have worked hard to upgrade it and it is clean and comfortable. We had an ocean view room over looking thevroad. we thought oh boy going to hear traffic all night. Nope. The village shuts down and the traffic goes to bed. An excellent bed, great location, excellent view, clean and comfortable, and a staff that really knows the area, the attractions, and resturants.

We stayed in an ocean view spa room for an overnight at Apollo Bay. The view was spectacular (in spite of dreadful weather), we managed a coffee on the lovely balcony before the rains came! The room was surprisingly well equipped with everything we needed, had a sofa and coffee table and the bed was really super - comfortable. Well decorated, light and bright. We were greeted warmly and provided with helpful info regarding eateries etc. Ample parking. A great stopover, recommended.

Nothing except the weather!

The property was clean and well maintained . The sea view is from hall area balcony and it was visible half and the other half covered with bush.

Booking.com mentioned in the app the property has a toilet and an additional toilet as well, ie the another reason we booked this property. But later we came to know their is only one toilet and we got confirmed from the property manager. That was very misleading for us, as we booked for something and we didn’t those for the price we paid

2 lovely rooms, large and super clean, ideal kitchen facilities and everything you needed for your stay. Metal steps up to access the top floor and car parking by the room. Laundry facilities were awesome and we made use of those. good central location to all the shops and cafes. Lots of lovely clean fluffy towels and toiletries were great. Really liked what they had put in place for towel replacement, provided a linen basket with note to say leave outside room when clean towels were needed and they would replace them, great idea to avoid access to rooms for covid i guess

Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn is in a perfect spot in Apollo Bay. Our twin room upstairs apartment overlooked the main road and the balcony accessed from the lounge had a view of the ocean. There was enough parking close to the apartment entrance. The bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries in the shower room and well equipped kitchen/diner/lounge area. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and were happy to suggest places to visit during our stay as well as local restaurant recommendations. We were even given help to carry our luggage up the stairs to the apartment.

Our recent stay at Apollo Bay Waterfront Motor Inn on the Great Ocean Road was fantastic! The motel's location is perfect for exploring this scenic coastal route, with stunning views and easy access to all the major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the convenience of being close to both the beach and local dining options. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!
