Spacious, recently renovated rooms. Spacious and well equipped shared kitchen and dining area. Just be aware that the town doesn’t have much in terms of restaurants/they close early. Make sure to bring your own food/milk etc. there is a great kitchen for you to use to cook. If you don’t want to cook, I wouldn’t recommend staying in the town of Arthur’s pass overall. Spacious bathroom with good water pressure. Red, from across the road was very helpful and available (at check in as there isn’t always someone at the desk, and then at one point as we locked ourselves out by accident). Laundry facilities were available (and much needed by this stage of the trip). Well located.
Room was a little bit dusty- not visibly, but did undoubtedly set off my dust allergies. We weren’t staying long, otherwise we would’ve looked into trying to re vacuum the room. Despite this, would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in Arthur’s pass.

Our room was bigger and well-equipped, offering a restful retreat after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. and the amenities made our stay enjoyable. Nestled in the heart of Arthur's Pass National Park, the location is simply unbeatable. We were surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and had easy access to hiking trails and other outdoor activities. The cleanliness of the motel was impressive. Our room was spotless
One downside was that the motel often felt unattended, with no receptionist on-site. We had to call a mobile number for assistance, which was a bit inconvenient.

Very clean. Great location. Comfortable. Very good kitchen facilities. Bring you own food/snacks as everything closes early. Beautiful scenery.
Unfortunately as travelling from Europe had communication issues with host. She was very unpleasant on phone. We arrived at 5.55 in the evening, not exactly late. She said she had sent self-checkin details and where the keys were. We had no communication re the keys. Also no checkout details. Finally met a member of staff who was lovely and super helpful.

Each room has been renovated and the bathrooms couldn't have been cleaner! The stay was amazing and the location was right in the center of town. Everyone wanted to be staying at Arthurs Pass Motel and Lodge. We both loved the key card to enter into the property adding a detail of security to the stay. The communal kitchen use was so well equipped, there's only one store that opens until 3/4pm so make sure to take supplies with you to eat and drink.
Our host at the Arthurs Pass motel and lodge reminded us the night before to pick up supplies but we ran out of time beforehand. There's one bar, one store, one restaurant in the town and its absolutely divine just being in such a small town in the mountains.

Great facilities especially the common fully equipped kitchen and dining areas. The in room tea and coffee facilities are generous. Everything about the rooms is clean, well designed and well organised. Tash, the manager, was very helpful. She allowed us early entry and late departure because we came and went on the train which arrived mid morning and left late afternoon. She was very helpful in arranging dinner at Bealey Hotel as there are no evening eating facilities available in Arthur’s Pass. She also has a great and engaging personality - a one woman force of nature!
Nothing about this facility itself. The only downside of the 2 day stay was the lack of dining facilities generally in Arthur’s Pass. However we were warned about this in advance in pre arrival information from Tash.

Easy to find, and due to a late arrival arising from road closure the manager guided us to our unit by phone. The studio unit is small-ish but well equipped and perfectly adequate for a single night's stay. Good parking adjacent to the unit.
Although summer, we needed the supplied convection heater on for a while on arrival and again first thing in the morning. Quite sufficient but assume extra heating would be needed during the Aurthur's Pass winter (no heat pump in unit). Only one 'comfy chair' in unit, so relaxing/watching TV means using the bed as a 'second' chair. The unit is adjacent to the main road which concerned us initially but fortunately very little traffic overnight, so traffic noise wasn't really an issue for us.

Clean modern room, great location, warm central heating, super comfortable bed and reasonably priced.
Many of the facilities listed were in a common room shared by 4 other rooms, e.g. communal fridge, dining table, cooking, TV etc (no tv in our room). Sound proofing didn't work between common room and private rooms. We' had tried to get an early night but sleep was impossible due to several people socialising in the adjoining common room until fairly late.

Clean cosy huge room with a huge king sized bed. It was very warm when we arrived in a very cold 2c outside. You have your huge room with a big bathroom. You share the kitchen and a huge dinner table from where you can watch the tv
Considering the price of the stay, a tv in the room would be appropriate considering the price of a tv currently. Considering the location and temperature of a sauna or steam room would be incredible. I know a spa bath would just push it but would bring in a lot more $

• very clean, comfortable and close to most hikes
• the host isn’t even in in all the days i have stayed, had some questions and went to the front to reach someone but was only greeted on the first day by someone who worked across the place we stayed :( after that we couldn't get hold to anyone • far from everything, nearest gas station is at greymouth, the gas at AP opposite the stay is very expensive • cafes close by 1:30pm, the restaurant closes by 6pm

Our 2night stay here is superb! Tasha is wonderful, the host/manager. Situated in the centre of Arthur’s Pass. On our 2nd day, it snowed really hard and we were not able to follow or itinerary and stayed in instead due to the roads being closed, and in our checkout day, Tasha helped us to dig our car out. Power went out on and off around 15 times but I think it’s due to the snowstorm. Clean and complete shared facilities. Be sure to bring your own food if you will stay in Arthurs Pass because there is only one cafe and store and offers limited food/supplies. You can cook in this property. Will definitely stay here again, highly recommended!
