The best part of my stay at evo Hotel was definitely the staff. The staff was very personable, accommodating, and made great recommendations for places to go in the area. While I did not partake in the activities evo Hotel has to offer, I think the overall theme of the hotel is very cool. Lastly, I really appreciated the amount of seating areas the hotel offers for guests to work or relax outside of their room.
I don't truly have any complaints about my stay at evo Hotel. My room was a bit on the small side but it was overall sufficient for my needs. I stayed in a room that did not have windows and the lighting wasn't the best overall. However, this did not negatively impact my stay at all.

Everything, really. We only had one night—checked in late after an event and left early for Bryce Canyon. With just about 12hrs, we still managed to enjoy the comfy lounge spaces, have two spot on cocktails and great chat at the bar, catch sunrise from the roof deck, plus a solid coffee and breakfast sandwich from the cafe on the way out of town. Amazing sleep in a bed I would take home with me. Would absolutely stay again to take advantage of the climbing and yoga. The “campus” feeling is an incredible concept and adds to the already great experience.
Tiniest of (temporary) dings for the location having construction going on. Still A+ because they were straightforward about the conditions and we had no noise issues on our short stay.

The idea of the hotel is very cool - you can do bouldering, yoga, gym, sauna for free (well, included into the price of the room you already paid). Consequently, the people who are staying at this hotel are interesting too. Hotel also provides complimentary coffee which is pleasant too. Sport activities are fun!
However, our room didn't have any window, which was strange, because on the photos there was a natural sunlight. We were told that some rooms are different from the ones on the photos. Well, that was basically the biggest issue, together with the parking, which is almost absent (only occasional public spots around the corner, which is a bit too far if you have lots of luggage). But even with this, the room itself was very clean and nice, no questions to that.

Funky warehouse/loft vibe and contemporary decor. New place and very clean. Great food hall a block away.
We had a room with a slanted ceiling and the bed was against two walls. One person had to scoot down to the foot of the bed to get out. The other person had to watch their head. The floor is finished concrete with an area rug. It was not cold and seemed very clean. Our room required that you go up 3 steps to the hall then down a short flight of stairs to get into the room. The parking garage is under construction so you have to park in the street or in a gravel lot. The area is quiet after 10 pm.

We stopped at evo hotel for one night before getting our campervan and heading to the national parks. It was the perfect place to stay. The room is super nice (just be careful when selecting your room as some don't have a window - it is clearly said in the app, but I missed it ..). The personnel is super friendly. Complimentary access to yoga and rock climbing is super cool. They also have nice outdoor stores (you get a 10% off by staying at the hotel). This was everything we needed. We loved the vibe so much that we spent another night on our way back.

Creative place, great design, all you need, great staff!! I didn’t use bouldering or mountain bike options as I went exploring Salt Lake City instead. Great cafe and eating out recommendations from the staff. Parking on the street was absolutely fine, I always felt safe (as a solo traveling female).
My room didn’t have windows and that was not clear when I booked it. I didn’t feel comfortable at all with that, but the extra price for a room with windows felt too much for what I get. But of course that’s just a personal preference.

Facilities are fantastic: industrial boutique esthetic, sauna, gym, cool/social common space and bar. Staff very friendly and helpful. Laid back and extremely accommodating.
Very little. Dorm room stay last time had gaping disconnect with the hotel staff - not managed onsite, so hotel staff have little connection to the dorm. That said, the dorm mattresses are comfortable (if you can deal with bunk beds), and rooms well equipped with good, stylish amenities. ***This time, stayed in regular hotel room, which was excellent and resolved all issues above that I had with the dorm.

Stylish, fun, youthful vibe! On street parking was easy. Everything was comfortable. The bed and shower were excellent. Good pillows! The room had great space for luggage. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices, and the WiFi was fast. We wanted to spend extra time just hanging out in the hotel. The free coffee from the cafe in the morning was great. Staff was helpful. Mellow, cheerful atmosphere.
Construction view out the window, but I expect that will change.

Immediately I was greeted by the very kind front desk staff. I've never been to Salt Lake before and she gave me her personal opinion on where to eat for dinner. And also provided me with a sheet of places to eat any meals and where to grab drinks. Dinner recommendation was a pizza joint around the corner, which was wonderful, and a walking distance. The hotel itself is super well kept and very fun to explore and look at. The staff in the rock climbing room was also incredibly nice. I unfortunately didn't have the time to participate in any of those activities, but if I ever come back, I'll make sure to make my trip longer so that I can. The walk to the room was enjoyable, there was corn hole in the hallway and fun things to look at. And each room down the hall has its own private little staircase that was super cute. The room was like a cozy little cabin. The bathroom is very modern and the shampoo/conditioner and soaps smell absolutely delightful. I typically bring and use my own, but I gave theirs a try because of how wonderful they smelt. Didn't dry out my skin or hair at all. The bed and pillows are single handedly the most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I've ever had the pleasure to rest on. There was no TV, but the cabin vibe made me want to unplug from the world anyway, so I appreciated it. The only thing I didn't love about the room, was the slant in the roof because I am tall and almost kept hitting my head. And a window to outside would have been cool as well. They provided war plugs and a few options of books to read which I thought was awesome. Overall a 10/10 stay, I have told everyone I know about this hotel.
The location appeared to be a little bit "sketchy", which concerned me at first. But the front desk staff assured me that it was a safe place.

The building is so cool, it is in a part of town where people are converting industrial buildings into hotels, stores, restaurants. The room was small but we didn't need a big room as we just needed a place to sleep and shower. You get a voucher for the rock wall and yoga. The bar looked very fun but we didn't end up getting a drink there but did go in to get ice as there is not ice machine so the nice staff directed us to the bar for ice.
There is not a lot to not like, but there are not windows to the outside in some of the rooms. There is a window above the door into the hallway which is odd but it did help the room not to feel so claustrophobic. There is not a refrigerator in the room so if that is a must for you bring a cooler or something to keep things cold.
