At first I was concerned because it's literally a gated hotel, but it's absolutely secure. I even saw another guest who was a mountain-biker and he had his bikes on the back of his truck overnight. I will admit there are some homeless people in the area, but again the property is fenced and I never once felt unsafe. I took my dog for a walk in the neighborhood, and even walked to the gas station down the street after dark. I've stayed in worse hotels for more money--this one surely exceeded my expectations. Also in a nice central location -- if you don't walk to the park, it's a short drive--just google map it. :) Needless to say, they accept dogs and the nightly fee is affordable. Everything in the room, the lobby and the breakfast area seemed new, like they recently remodeled. It was great. Really quality service and facility. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly not much. I enjoyed my stay.

The location was ideal. I was close to work and all the stores were nearby. I loved being able to enjoy the pool since we were having a dreadful heatwave

The floor in the room was dirty. There were cockroaches, live and dead. I don't know how much that could be controlled. They seemed to be everywhere outside. I was the most disappointed with the laundry facilities. The room itself was not clean. I has to wipe down all the machines before I would use them. The dryers didn't dry the clothes if they were used at the same time. I did figure that out after restarting the drying cycle. As long as one dryer ran by itself it functioned fairly well. I would have really pitched a fit about it if the one washer didn't give free washes. That seemed like an even trade. One more thing. I still haven't gotten my deposit back yet. I left the room cleaner than it was when I arrived

This hotel is exactly what I was expecting. The staff was nice, free parking, the room was clean (the room had a couple dinged up things), the walls are a little thin so not great if you're a light sleeper but for the price we couldn't complain. We were also traveling with our medium/large dog and their "pet fee" was the most reasonable compared to other hotels, and I called a lot of hotels... I didn't check out the breakfast but my boyfriend made waffles every morning and said it was pretty solid spread. Is it glamorous? No, but it fit our needs and we would stay again!

The neighborhood had a few shady characters, but I'm from a big city so it wasn't too bad. Just have your wits about you.

Great place to stay for a few nights in Salt Lake City! The room was clean and comfortable, and staff was super nice. The location is also great, and the gated parking means there’s nothing to worry about. I don’t understand why this place has such bad reviews. Maybe it used to be bad, but I’d totally recommend City Creek Inn and stay again the next time I’m in Salt Lake.

Maybe extend breakfast past 9am since that’s kind of early

We enjoyed the breakfast. The room and bed were comfortable, and that's what we look for. We were hoping to see a brochure or something for entertainment and activities in the area.

What we didn't like was while we were eating breakfast, we believe the manager was sitting at the front desk until one of the employees arrived. The manager was very rude and condescending to his employee and speaking very loud about the issues and mistakes that he had made. I feel that the manager should have taken the employee outside to speak with him, since there were a few other people eating breakfast at the same time we were.

I was there because I was having Chemo at the hospital which we make a lot of trips and have to and your hotel is the best one we ever st. ayed everything yo say and offer. Was exactly what you promised in you Microwave

That because of my Chemo I didn't, get to use your heated p pool and hottub. We now will a 9

The location, and the breakfast was good, and the pool was nice, the gentleman that checked us in was very nice

The man working Saturday morning around 6-7 , was very loud as he belittled the nice gentleman that checked us in Friday night, I felt so bad for him, nobody should be treated that way, and in front of the guests eating breakfast, there was a few of them that was not real happy about it

It was a pleasant surprise for the area. Gated hi walls no riff raff clean place rooms were large very relaxing. Slept great. Could not hear neiborhood.i would stay there again when working in that area. Staff was awesome breakfast was good.

They didn't have any thing to eat for protein for breakfast. Great for carb lovers. Other than that place was 😃

The location was perfect for our event! We always get the queen suite in order to accommodate last minute preparations! The staff here was so friendly and kind to us!

The kitchens were not very well stocked so we had to buy all of our own prep and cleaning supplies.

Great location. Clean room, great bathroom. Entry gate closed and locked overnight. I was traveling with dogs. A great deal at $10 per dog. Front desk staff excellent. Coffee in the mornings. Plenty of parking, it’s free. Some places to eat close by.

There was only a second floor, no ground floor room available. No elevator, stairs although not many the luggage gets heavy going up and down.
