Loved the decor, position, service, setting and facilities. Good menu and good use of space. Loved the pool area and courtyard. I would say this is the best beach resort we have in KZN. Slick service and great attention to detail.

I really feel that this is overpriced for what is included. Most of the top game lodges charge a similar rate but include meals and drinks. We have been fortunate to travel extensively, and feel this should be priced better, especially for locals. Perhaps all inclusive at a slightly higher rate OR reduce the rate and only include breakfast.

Zinhle is an amazing human being, thoughtful and great at her work. She curated a great stay for my parents and I Her “dopeness” permeates through the employees. The employees tried to make my parents as comfortable as possible and attended to their needs

The Christmas lunch was a Huge disappointment - the entire menu. To top it all - we were served a rea roast - have you ever heard of such??? One the challenge the Hospitality industry in KZN have is the sense of relativity the stuff have with black patrons that sometimes they start treat you like you are friend - they become sloppy in their responsiveness which id glaringly not the same with responding to caucasian patrons. Unfortunately Sala is not immune to this - i think its something to workshop with your team Zinhle.

The hotel is less then a year old, state of art design and amenities, exceptional stuff and treatment. Best view on the coast, direct access to a nice (unequipped) blue flag beach. Room is spacious and has all you need for a nice stay (from basics to yoga mats and sun cream), has all possible plugs, a work desk and all in exactly right places. Exceptional reception with a MCC welcome drink and help with the bags. No energy/wifi disruptions - probably iwn generators in place. Outstanding SPA centre onsite, requires upfront booking. The lunch& dinner are one thing this hotel could work on. The restaurant offers set menu with 2-3 choices of starters and mains. Food is okey but i would expect a better quality for the price & in such an amazing place. Breakfasts are super nice still (especially the full continental one)

In the most gorgeous position on the coast with very attentive staff wanting you to have a relaxing time. The room was outstanding with everything thought of. Dinner was incredible out overlooking the ocean. The food was honestly outstanding!

My only upset was getting my bill and discovering that the spa lady sold me an eye cream and quoted me 250 but I was billed R2250,00 and I was horrified because I had already opened it, a misunderstanding but the price should be visible on the item snd not apparently on a printed list stuck in the cupboard. My husband also heard her say 250, if I paid there & then this misunderstanding would of been established but she suggested our treatments and this product got added to my hotel bill ☹️

Sala is a luxurious, exclusive guest house. The furnishings are luxurious and modern. The staff are extremely attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and enjoying yourself. Sala can compete on the same level as the Oyster Box in Umhlanga, but the best part is that Sala is small, exclusive and intimate as opposed to a big hotel. Sala is perfect for the traveler who is looking for luxury, and also wanting a more exclusive intimate and quieter stay. I love Sala Beach House.

the most tranquil and comfortable place I’ve experienced in a long time. Attention to detail from the entrance, bedrooms dining room is unbelievable. the staff were without doubt one of the best features from Natalie and Craig to the chef and spa Zee.
