Day of check out: staff banged on door 3 times within a 20 min time frame for us to leave. We were already packed and ready to go but our 6 month old was sleeping so we were prepping him also. Check out is 10:00 am, too early. We left at 10:30 as we took a bit longer to gather our belongings and our baby, even then, a guy was standing outside our door waiting for us to leave and our card was locked out so we couldn't open the door again. We stayed the for 5 nights and 6 days so this treatment was pathetic from the staff on the day of Check out Only 2 coffees and 2 teabags given for a 5night stay

Loved the pool with the slides to entertain the kids, the location is excellent as can walk to the beach

Staff and neighbors are extremely noisy late into the night and early morning. No enforcement of no noise after 10pm. Depends on which unit you have. Hooting for entry of exit to parking lot very early morning wakes everyone. Unit appears clean but window sills ,draws, and under the beds were unclean with items still from precious guests and even a staff walky talky found.

Property is clean and the views are too die for they have a great vibe by the pool😄it’s like a whole mini party with the music and some games

The beds are not comfortable atleast the one we slept on wasn’t comfortable gave my whole body aches the whole week Also room service can be slow sometimes

Very impressed with the new room layout - nice and modern. Staff very attentive and you get a feeling of relaxation right on the beach.

You could look at doing breakfast outside near the pool - i think a lot more people would buy the breakfasts then.

The room was fabulous and much bigger than I expected for a Studio unit. The bed was VERY comfortable as was the linen. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Just had to request sugar as there was none in our room but I do understand as they let us check in early due to an urgent function we needed to get too. The car park is very full but they are busy on renovations for the carpark on the other side of the building

Location was lovely, staff were friendly and always there to assist with a smile.

Reef Cafe meals not worth the price I.e. chicken mayo sandwich leaves alot to be desired. Complained sent back and the exact same was sent back saying it had been fixed along with an apology (was not) - photo taken of end result. Another waiter brought back the plates not original waiter who seemed upset and was letting it being known.

The stay was perfect. The location, staff and place was exceptional. It was clean.

The bed was flimsy. I arranged for the hotel to send someone to pick us up from the airport. I waited outside arrivals for a long time. The guy was outsif4 sitting in his car. I was disappointed as i had to call to see where he was. There were othrr guys waiting with boards and signs for their pick ups. It didn't make sense that our driver sat in his car?! Hoe eetr we supposed to know who he was?

The breakers is located on probably the best stretch of beach in Umhlanga and on the edge of the wonderful Hawaan forrest which stretches towards the lagoon. If you want privacy and a garden patio then this unit is the best at the Breakers, despite not having a sea view.

The unit has two televisions, the picture quality of which both are absolutely terrible. The air conditioning does not work at all, however there is a small swamp cooler in the flat should it get really hot. Our timing was terrible, the sole reason anyone would stay in Umhlanga is the beach, and there was nothing on the site or the advance e-mails to warn us that all the beaches were completely closed due to a chemical spill, and had been since July. Check in advance if they are open!

Good location .wonderful place to be enjoyed the pool the slides went there for my birthday with my family wonderful place had hesitated to book the place after reading negative wifi reveiws but to my surprise the WIFI was perfect enjoyed my stay the porpcorn welcome was the icing on the cake

they need to replace the furniture at the balcon
