Beautiful hilltop setting in a lush green garden between Constantia and Houtbay. Private villa atmosphere. Quality equipment and tasteful design. Very friendly staff. Heated pool, gym, sensational spa and yoga facilities and courses. Definitely recommend!

There was nothing to dislike. Before you arrive make sure you have booked lunch and dinner which they serve at a long table. This was not advertised or offered so we were not able to join and needed to book a restaurant outside, which was not our preference due to the location. Same for the wonderful treatments. The hotel also does have two different parts. One „Bali“ style area Maison Noir and a super modern part Villa Verde which we preferred. This is not clear in the booking.com description so we were lucky to enjoy the style we love.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this stunning property in an oasis of Cape Town. We wanted a couple of days to relax before heading to safari, and this property was the perfect place for it. It’s so beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous grounds, and all the staff were so lovely and friendly. The hotel very kindly upgraded us as it was our honeymoon which was such an amazing surprise and the room was so beautiful! The food and drinks were all included and everything was delicious. I also had a very relaxing massage at the spa. A truly amazing place, I hope we can return one day. Thank you to everyone at Future Found Sanctuary!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is thinking of visiting Cape Town. Exceptional and I can't wait to come back. It's a very tranquil hotel, as a woman travelling on my own I felt very safe and taken care of by every member of staff, particularly the Duty Manager's who went out of their way to make sure I made the most of time in SA. The food and wine was excellent and I would recommend pre-booking breakfast and dinner, you will not be disappointed. The facilities and amenities were stunning and I would thoroughly recommend staying at Maison Noir, I loved the living room it felt very homely and I really enjoyed having an outdoor shower. I didn't hire a car and travelled around using the hotel's drivers/ recommended companies.

I'm really struggling on this, fantastic stay. Being super picky, having the option of 'English breakfast tea' and some milk in the room. I understand the staff on duty will make a tea/coffee if you asked but sometimes you may want to enjoy the views with a hot beverage without having to bother the staff.

This property is among the most beautiful properties we have ever visited. The interior design is outstanding. The facilities are incredible: gym, spa, movie theatre The staff were so lovely!! They provided the most amazing service and hospitality we had experienced across the entirety of our honeymoon. They really made us feel welcome and special. The room was spacious and had an incredible bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The team took on board my dietary preferences and were very accommodating. This was especially the case at dinner where I was able to discuss a specific menu choice - I was very grateful for this. Could not recommend more and have already convinced two friends to come stay! Can’t wait to return!

Bed and pillows were too firm for our taste - perhaps a pillow menu could be an option? Air con being upstairs meant it was less efficient

Beautiful property in the residential area of Constantia. The best thing about this property is that all food and drink is included in your room price, so make the most of it! All of the food was delicious, our room was huge and absolutely beautiful, as was the decor throughout the rest of the hotel. The heated pool was a bonus, plus it's open all evening.

When we checked in, no one explained to us that all food and drink was included in our room price; we only discovered this by accident on our last night! Such a shame as we would have made more of it, especially given the relatively high price per night for Cape Town. You definitely need a car or taxi to explore the area, as the property is in a very residential neighborhood that isn't really suitable for walking. Final point, it was hard to tell who worked at the hotel, as the staff changed quite a lot during our stay, and weren't always easily findable across the grounds.

What an incredible place and stay! We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon, and we were blown away. Really one of the most beautiful and tranquil places we've ever stayed. It feels like staying in the most gorgeously designed mansion, and the staff were wonderful and personal. We were lucky to get upgraded to an even more amazing room than we booked, and it was such a treat. We had a lovely dinner on the property, and we also had amazing massages in the spa - highly recommend both. We are so appreciative of the staff for this special experience, and we only wish we could have stayed longer!

This Sanctuary is quite simply out of this world and was the perfect choice for our honeymoon week spent in Cape Town. Its hard to put into words simply how magnificent this place is with all it has to offer. The staff are quite simply amazing and go out of there way to make you feel so welcomed from the minute you enter and couldn't do more to ensure your stay is everything you would want it to be. I do hope the owners of Future Sound appreciate the job their fabulous staff do to ensure your stay is everything you hope it would be. We were fortunate enough to eat most nights on our own as other guests were dining out meaning we basically had a the luxury of a private chef on those nights. The food never disappointed and was always prepared and presented to a high standard with wine to complement. We would 100% look at staying here again if we were to visit Cape Town.

A minor observation but we did notice that sound does travel through the property which I assume is due to the construction and possibly the concrete floors. A hire car would also be beneficial as we did spend quite a bit on taxis moving about.

This hotel is a rare gem, we feel so lucky to have found it. The team are all warm and wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Nicole was so very kind and patient in sorting out many complicated amendments that arose (due to changes on our part) to our original booking. Keenan, who looked after us throughout our stay, anticipated our every need and was always ready with a smile and a kind word. The meals served at the communal table, were delicious and we really enjoyed meeting the other guests each night over dinner. The location is stunning, and everywhere is within easy reach. We can't recommend highly enough. We will be back.

There was nothing that we didn't like but the only thing that could be improved (but only because we're all gym bunnies) would be to have a second running machine in the gym as there were often people waiting.

This is an extraordinarily beautiful hotel and location. Sanctuary is the most appropriate word to begin to describe it. We stayed in the Mountain View villa, which is really an exquisite home perfectly formed comfortable and luxurious. There were so many spots to feel cozy and to be at peace. The facilities for cooking and even laundry make it a perfect place for a longer stay or to host friends around a table with a beautiful view. The staff are most helpful and accommodating. The gym is well equipped and the massages we had were exceptional. For the quality fantastic value for money. I did not want to leave.

I do think that they could improve the speed of communication. They also desperately need a better coffee machine, especially given that Cape Town in general has exceptional coffee. I was disappointed that our heated pool, was not ready on arrival and actually never did get warm. It was a little down point in what would have been one of the best stays in my life.

Everyone! Believe us, we had an incredible stay at this heaven! The place is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and serene surroundings. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and the customized dinners were tasty and amazing. I even had a medical situation during my stay, and they promptly took me to the emergency room and stayed with me until late to ensure I was fine. Their warm care truly made a difference. Charoloy, I'm not sure if this is the correct spelling of your name but wanna say thank you very much for the care and support during this situation, I'm grateful. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!
