A real home away from home. Exceptional views. Amazing and helpful and friendly staff (thanks Annie, Bornface & Cleo). Very accommodating and caring (new) owners and management (thanks Chris & Llewellyn). They went out of their way to help guests celebrate Christmas. So much effort. Really very special and truly appreciated (thanks May & Jack!)

The elevator is only used for luggage. No on-site after-hours staff to assist with emergencies.

Great place, with great view. Our room had a view of the ocean. We have received a complimentary bottle of wine. Room had a balcony with some chairs, where you can sit and look at the ocean. Really nice air con, though not really needed. Big bathroom with plenty of space, shower and bath. Great breakfast and very professional staff.

It is kind of high from the main road. May be an issue if you want to walk there.

The view is the main attraction . Both mountains and sea if you choose the loft or penthouse. Comfortable and private with a high standard of cleanliness and style.

Some minor details. Breakfast to include more local ingredients. To have a breakfast served that is not cold - as most are. Warm plates and good quality.

The location of place perfect see view and very quite area, staff so professional and food perfect I would definitely sleep there on my next visit to cape town.

I loved seeing the mountain right behind the hotel; it was such a lovely natural vibe. Plus, the elevation gave a great vantage point of the beach for breakfast.

Be aware that you’ll be up a steep hill: not a problem walking down to the beach, but quite a climb coming back. I think it was worth it for the price.

The location was excellent.

However the breakfast starts only from 9am on the weekends and take quite a long time to prepare. They need to fix the safe in one of the mountain view rooms where the safe was making noise the whole night.

The owner is helpful and friendly

We had an absolutely wonderful time there , the room we stated in had beautiful views and the birds at the back were amazing as its next to a mountain reserve the breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful and attentive .. all round a good place .....

it's a bit of a walk up but that should not put you off as the views are very impressive .
