I love everything about the hotel. The room was more than I expected! big, clean, see view. It's a home away from home. There's ironing board+ iron,microwave, sink to wash my dishes, dishcloth, sponge, dishwashing liquid soap, comfortable couch + table and chairs. The food and bev manager arranged something for my birthday! staff members sang for me, I felt so important and honored! They showed me some newly renovated rooms and bigger ones to accommodate four people because I told them that I'm definitely coming back soon with my other three sisters. I never thought that I could ever experience such a royal treatment! The reception stuff is really great, they always have a smile on their faces and they are very helpful. Checking in was really really simply and our rooms were ready an hour before normal check in times. Phumulo (a staff member) told me that I was going to be impressed with their newly renovated rooms and damn was he right. Ooh and they brought us complimentary chocolates in our rooms after checking, Very Demure. The managers are very considerate and approachable should you encounter any situation. The pictures don't do the accommodation enough justice, the rooms were beyond my expectation. My family and I were there for a special occasion and I have no regrets whatsoever... The breakfast restaurant has a beautiful ocean view. They have a good variety of food which was awesome. Honestly, they have room for improvement on their food taste but it gets the job done. Lastly, if you are reading this... Book your stay already, it's worth it. Honestly, I've found my new favorite accommodation in Durban.

Staff, breakfast- Exceptional

The other individuals during friday night were very noisey and inconsiderate of others. You guys should look at a way to put a stop to this as it affects the stay of others. This is the second time that I've had noise complaints this year at your hotel, and I've visited you guys twice this year. In both instances, I've enjoyed the facilties, staff, and breakfast, but other patrons are left to make noise and disturb others.

The breakfast was delicious, loved the beach view from the restaurant, the room we had was amazing with great seaviews😻🔥⛱ and the sunrise from the room was to die for🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤. The room was big as well as the shower👌😻. The overall service was good, from the reception to housekeeping....., the room was cleaned every day and it smelled fresh🌸🌸😻. My partner and I cant wait to come back again in spring.💃💃

We found cocroaches in our room and our friends said they also found cocroaches in their room. The whole hotel needs to be fumigated.

I liked everything about this hotel from break fast, room service and how they keep the rooms clean all the time even the staff at the pool area they were very friendly.

The view from the sky lounge during the breakfast buffet is stunning, the food offered at the breakfast was great and i really enjoyed it. the room was beautiful and clean and spacious.

When we booked the room it stated a sea view, how ever there was no sea view at all from our room. I believe that is false advertising.

Old school beach hotel with updated decor. Hotel common areas have a great modern clean style. Pool and lounge area very relaxing. Excellent ocean view, coffee station well stocked with variety. High quality bathroom products, many towels. Room was large and had desk, chair, bed, sofa, kitchenette, glass table with two chairs so its almost a full holiday unit including microwave and fridge with basin. More then I expected. Room windows slid open completely to enjoy sea view and ocean noice at night. Sea views at breakfast lounge was exceptional from 11th floor. Must see. Great staff and high quality breakfast buffet. Propper coffee barista takes coffee orders at breakfast. First floor restaurant has bar for evening. Good security personel at entrance and well staffed hotel. High recommend. Fantastic value. All exactly as seen in pics. I liked it very much.

Booking in seemed a bit late at 14:00 as check out was at 10:00 already but staff were very accommodating. Perhaps consider more seating in the reception.

Everything about the property was fantastic. From the welcoming drinks to the staff to the place itself. The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. The view was spectacular, also BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING. The food is 10/10. The view from where we ate breakfast 10/10. We loved everything about Belaire Suites. And the staff was so understanding cause we asked to have our luggage stored at the hotel after checkout because we had some activities to do, they had no problem with that, they stored our luggage until we came back.

I wasn't sure what to expect after looking at so many hotels in Durban but my room exceeded expectations. I stayed on the 10th floor, the view was great, the room was huge and had everything I needed. Good wifi, great shower, plenty of toiletries and fresh towels, they even delivered chocolates after I had checked in. I would definitely stay here again if I travelled to the city. Recommended!

Staff at reception were a bit hit and miss - the lady with the long braids wasn't particularly friendly or welcoming but the guy was better. Breakfast was plentiful although seating was a bit of an issue as people seemed to have saved seats and then disappeared from the restaurant. Staff were very quick to sort it out and food was better than expected.

Belaire Suites have become my hotel of choice. Besides the beauty of the hotel, I love the helpfulness of the staff. Especially the porters and the housekeepers. As a person with disability they were more than helpful. I have already booked for my next stay in February.

I appreciate that I was allowed to have my breakfast in my room. However, as mentioned, illhealth brings me to Durban mostly. Breakfasts alone can be very depressing. For a person in the same condition, can their partners be allowed to have breakfast together in the room. When you are not well, any meal together could be your last. You want to savor the moment. It is just a request. Conditions are not the same. I would also love to see the splendor that I hear about, which is the sky lounge. But with all my stays, I have not been able to go up due to my condition.
