My mum and I were treated like we the only customers there yet the place was very full given the start of the festive season. It's so clear from the way staff treated both me and my mom that they are passionate about working with people. ❤️✨️That sea view made me realise what I miss most about Durban 🥰 The food was excellent! Rooms were very spacious!! Every single staff member that we had the pleasure of interacting with at the restaurant Versailles for dinner and breakfast were so friendly and helpful! I felt favored LOL! This was the best surprise stay for my mum. Thank you 🥰😅💝

I understand the health implications around food safety but it hurts my heart that so many people waste food at the buffet and it gets thrown in the bin. I also wish that we were allowed to tip the staff via card payments and that this was processed accordingly. They do a great job and deserve the recognition... please consider rethinking this policy 🙏

The ocean view from our room was amazing,the food was delicious. The staff and waiters at the dining hall were very friendly 👌 and very efficient I loved that they take good care of the guests needs 10 out of 10

The cleaning of our room. We were there for 3 nights,on the second morning our room was not cleaned at all the lady that was cleaning just came in made the bed and left, didn't tidy properly leaving things lying around everywhere 😞

Lifts occupied and slow. It stopped on each floor filled with people, cleaners and equipment. It took ages to go down from 10th floor. Service lift plus one other lift broken.

The rooftop pool was had warm water ,loved it .Also pools clean at all times. The versallies restaurant was amazing A star service even when the hotel has many clients . The stay was really really amazing . Oh always had warm showers and slept in a clean bed . Thank you for the sweets 😂😂

That it’s responsibly cashless so please include that on the booking website ,so we are well informed. Atleast at the reception speak English not all of us understand Zulu and it’s soo consistently spoken at the hotel by everyone who provides service.

The chefs and staff at the breakfast hall are extremely friendly, well done

Telephone in the room did not work to call house keeping or reception. Room was cleaned by house keeping but not up to standard, some days there was no towels, no toilet rolls, we had to walk from the 5th floor to reception to ask, because the lifts take forever, but still did not bring the towels. Receptionist Kuzwayo is extremely stubborn, she don't greet the guests. She needs training on how to greet the guests and how to be friendly.

The food was nice, the rooms clean and I like the close proximity to the beach. The room was big and beds comfortable, too bad the AC ONLY emitted cold air, had to ask for an extra blanket since it was cold. The staff were friendly, gave chocolate on the last two days of our stay which was nice.

It was uncomfortable using the dining utensils seeing how the waiters cleaned them and how there was food stains in between the forks and stain marks on the knife. I saw one server taking the used utensils and spray them with a bottle solution, wipe it with the blue cloth on his hip and place them on a table for someone else to use.

There was a buffet everyday in the restaurant and the servers were efficient and friendly. The housekeeping is always on time and checking in on us and bring candy for the kids. The overall stay was a 9/10

The squash court not what I expected. Waiting time when Check in was suppose to be 2pm but I had to wait to be checked in by 4pm because my room wasn’t ready yet and they kept saying 10 min or 15 min

Breakfast was good, however there were not many veggies available.

The attitude of the staff was bad, from check-in to the security guards at the parking and the elevator.

My grandchildren left phone in the room it dissappeared. When we tracked it it showed that it'd at the hotel but when we came back we couldn't find it. Lungelo was.a cleaner she was new because the supervisor didn't know her. Cleaners need to be verified before they start working.
