Beautiful place nice location clean and good value for money

The service at the Restaurant was not good we were hoping for room service for our dinner and no one answered the call. The guy at the reception also called on our behalf no answer. I also paid extra fee to extend my time of checkout when I returned from the restaurant for breakfast my room was locked towels removed yet my belongings were still there meaning I hadn't checked out as I paid extra fee to extend my time.

The hotel was exactly what I expected, clean and classy. The restaurant staff was amazing and their food was very good.

I wasn't aware that the Hotel had an Inn so when l made my bookings online I was certain that I was booking the Hotel however when I arrived, I was told I paid for the Inn instead. That was very disappointing because that information is not clearly stated online and for me to switch, I was told I had to add an extra R1200. I was deprived of the sea view I intended to experience and worse part, I wasn't allowed to view the rooms incase l was interested to switch. Please fix this inconvenience,

Food, location, vibe, security

Cold water in the shower...didn't really get a clear explanation as to why.

Central to everywhere. Close to the shoping malls and very convinient.

Would really be nice if you can upgrade the tv. Who still watches SABC1 on vacation. Smart tvs are a thing now and very entertaining. Would’ve appreciated a bar fridge in the room to keep our left overs.

The view was great to wake up too... very spacious for 2 people. Beds and the comforter are so comfortable

The fact that were no fridge to store our colddrinks and that the pool closed way too early as the activities were planned ended way to late for us to enjoy the pool

The staff at reception was very friendly and accommodating. She even explain the process of early check in which I never knew. The room was clean when I arrived and cozy. The restaurant and bar staff also helpful and frendly. I fell safe and secure with the card system that opens from the lifs into the area where rooms are.

The maintenance guys who were working a floor up above me were making a lot of noise I could not even sleep. A heads up from the maintenance before they started would have been nice as not every hotel guest is out during the day, Some are in their rooms sleeping/working/attending meetings. Also, the cleaning ladies could put more effort in wiping surfaces that needs wiping, and removing obvious dirt/papers thay will no longer be used. I

We had a wonderful stay with a beautiful modern room. The staff were exceptional, friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach and amenities. As two ladies traveling together, we also appreciated the safe and secure environment, making our stay truly unforgettable.

Unfortunately, our room didn't come equipped with a fridge, which would have been convenient. Additionally, while the room was tidied up on the second day, the sheets weren't changed, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience, but with a few tweaks, it could have been even better.

Location Check in process

Had the breakfast buffet for the first time -wasn’t impressed. Bacon not cooked well, limited sides , juice not fresh and waiters not attentive

Nothing,the place was amazing

The room was even better than the 5-star new hotel up the road, spacious and exceptionally clean, with all the facilities you could possibly need.

The cleaning staff did not knock and just walked into the room, even though there was a DND sign on the door. The aircon/heater was not working when we got there, and even though they fixed it by the next day, 1 night in Durban's humidity, without an aircon, was not great, and we didn't sleep much - recommendation to the management: get cleaning staff to check all equipment is working everyday, it's a small thing but it will go a long way.
