We chose this hotel because of its proximity from the airport and the availability of shuttle (5 min drive) . Room was ok for our 1 night stay and well cleaned. Airport shuttle was right on time and the driver was very helpful and cordial. Checkin - checkout was quick and efficient. Breakfast was awesome with a very good variety of items for all tastes.

One of the rooms we booked had parts of the carpet which were wet/humid. This, I guess, was caused by the faulty A.C which itself was another inconvenience: the "compressor" part was inside the room so each time the cooling started, it generated quite some noise inside the room. It somewhat disturbed our sleep - we checked in late and had to move out the next morning.

Great room, lovely staff. I particularly liked that there wasn't the cloying flowery smell you sometimes get on the bedsheets. Everything was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing, the evening buffet not as good, but adequate. There was a shuttle bus to and from the airport every half hour which was really useful.

My only gripe really was the Wifi was hard to get/stay on and very very slow, and maybe the buffet could have been better.

I stayed 7 nights in the suite . Business meetings at the airport area so location was ideal . Good work space with a large comfortable bed and shower was warm and strong . Lighting could have been brighter . All necessary for a good stay . Breakfast was varied and service friendly. Once again , lighting in restaurant could be brighter . Close to airport and secure premises . Restaurant staff very helpful, always smiling . Waitress names California was a star . Remembered my usual order and always helpful . The rail track was close and was able to take free hotel shuttle for drop off and pick up . Which meant getting to Sandton was very easy …

Gym was small but enough for cardio and basic exercises with light weights .

The rooms are well kept and spacious, breakfast was amazing I enjoyed the homely feeling The servers were polite and helpful the chef and trainee were amazing with a sense of humor I appreciated that

The bar staff was rude I think his name is Kagiso very dismissive and treated me like I didn't belong there when I asked questions about certain drinks and chai latte, I believe the level of service should be the same for everyone irrespective of the assumed status or skin

The breakfast and the service were both very good. We only stayed for the night as we had another flight to catch. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the Airport, thus giving us more time to enjoy our breakfast. The welcome plate of fresh fruit is a real plus point.

Unfortunately when we reached late at night, we found that the TV didn't work. The hotel did send the maintenence staff, but it was found the there was no signal. We were given the option to change the room but we refused as we had been travelling for 22.5 hours and we just wanted to relax . A cup of tea and a bit of TV time is all that we wanted- but we had to wait for the maintenence man and after sometime be told nothing could be done. It is a shame as everything else was as expected.

We, family of 4, stayed in this hotel twice, each time two nights. Family room was our choice and it was very good choice. Two double beds with really spacious room so no problem with “luggage management”. Coffee / team maker with a small stock of instant coffee, milk, sugar and various types of the tea were available, refilled each day. Also bottles of water. The room was clean, Internet available all the time and with good speed. Good variety of TV channels. There were both – shower and bath tube in the bathroom. First time we arrived in the morning so the room was not available but we have got it within about one hour. Breakfast was very good with a number of hot dishes. Eggs / omelets were prepared by the cook following our wishes. Dinner is available from 18:30 – both option, buffet and a la carte. Very good selection of dishes in both options. Any time, also earlier it is possible to order the meal delivered to the room and the “delivery price” was really reasonable. The hotel is located very close to the Johannesburg International Airport and hotel transport is provided every 30 minutes free of charge, both ways. It takes only about 10 minutes to get in. Location is very good also because it allows to drive to Kruger Park avoiding traffic jams in Johannesburg. The hotel staff is very helpful and any requested service or assistance was provided very quickly. We had the problem with the bathroom door locker and it was repaired immediately. It was very good choice to stay in this hotel.

We used this hotel as a layover hotel on 3 occasions after flying in and out of Joburg. If you are using it for that purpose, then its great. The free shuttle to and from the airport was great. Only 5 minutes away. The hotel is clean, our room was huge and bed comfortable. The bar and restaurant was also great. The food was delicious. We also used the spa inside the hotel, which isn't part of the hotel itself, and it was a great value for money massage package before the flight.

The area surrounding the hotel isn't visually the best, but if you're just staying here a night or 2 for a layover, then it won't bother you. There is good security at the front. The gym needs an update. They had about 8 pairs of 9kg dumbbells, and that was it.

It was easy to find the hotel shuttle and a quick transfer to the hotel both ways. Accommodation fine for an overnight stop.

Waited a long time at reception. Reception staff not very friendly although he was working alone and it was busy. We had booked a family room and after waiting for a lift and finally reaching our room, we found a double bed only therefore returned to reception to be told he had forgotten to tell us there aren't any family rooms left but we can have the adjoining room just open it from inside the room. Back to the room to find we could only open the door on one side and still could not access the other room. Back to reception where we stood another 10 minutes to ask for a key. Poor service. No apologises or a smile. We could have done without this as we were tired after our long haul flight.

Excellent staff, very good food, comfortable room, intime shuttle!

Confusion over automated room charge and local caused a bit of a problem. It was eventually figured out.

Easy check in, very friendly staff. A special Thanks to Beauty and Violet at the Resturant and Joyce at Reception. Shuttle was on time. I will definitely be back!
