It was the busiest weekend of my life. My brother got engaged at the 2 families we're meeting for the first time. I offered my place for them to stay and booked a night at Kiwara. When I say it was the best sleep I've had in days, I'm not exaggerating. That bathtub in was just what I needed after the weekend I had. The room was very cozy, the bed was way too comfortable, I passed out as soon as I played on it. there are plenty of breakfast options (I didn't have any due to time). I am definitely planning on staying there again. Adding an extra 5 stars because the host kept saying I looked fabulous. 😀

We had the pleasure of staying at Kiwara and enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like unique designs & displays and a warm welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of options to suit all tastes. The guesthouse was conveniently located, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, we would highly recommend Kiwara and we already booked again coming back soon. 😋👍

The extra details which I haven't seen before were the highlight. For example, there were sachets of hot chocolate in the room, seeds to throw over your fruit for breakfast, multiple sauce options to choose from, 4 cups (fantastic for us midnight coffee drinkers) as well as an ample amount of towels in the room. Those small things made a huge difference! Our original room choice had electrical problems, which the host informed us of immediately and instead of us having to first find out for ourselves and request a different room. We were provided the choice between two other rooms before check-in. We were also provided with the load shedding schedule, which helped us plan our hair & make up for the event we were headed to much easier! The host, as well as the premises, were nothing short of exceptional! Definitely plan on staying at this establishment again.

The wifi worked but had no internet connection. However, since we were there for leisure and not business, it wasn't something that made a huge difference to our stay.

The place was very clean and quiet. Helpful staff! The availability of a generator whenever loadshedding was being implemented in the area; it could have been a disaster for me without it. The rooftop gardens!

We loved everything about this place. We stayed for 16 days in the property. The room service was exceptional 👌 🥰. We were travelling for medical purpose and the owner was checking on us everday and proving extra comfort for us as family which made us feel at home and cared for. The property is super clean and they make it sure that it looks clean everyday and toiletries suplied every day.. For anyone whose looking for a state of art place to stay in Johannesburg. You need to book in Kiwara. Its peaceful it's definitely a home away from home!!! Thank you Kiwara team we enjoyed our stay. Keep the good work up. U deserve 7 stars.🙏

The guesthouse is located on the hill providing easy access to every sightseeing location in town. The rooms were always super clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff and owners were the kindest people ever. The full experience was way over my expectations, the warm welcome and that the people made sure our stay was super comfortable made the entire trip unforgettable. they did so much more you can expect from a guest house or any 5 star hotel, we really did feel special and would truly recommend to everyone who is staying in Johannesburg. Very special thanks to Suzanne and Carisma, you really gave us the best time possible ❤️

There was literally nothing to not like.

Charisma was extremely helpful as some of my dates had to be moved around and he she accommodated me. The breakfast is excellent. All great ingredients and you can taste the freshness. The facilities are great as there is a gym and play area for kids near the pool. The rooms are tasefully decorated. They have a generator which assists when on work travels and there is load shedding.

I can't think of anything. Everytimr has was hadled with such professionalism.

The place was homely and comfortable. My room was next to the water fountain overlooking the garden, the sound of the water was therapeutic... Suzanne is an amazing host. She catered for my needs... Ow and their salon is gorgeous with the most amazing staff. I'll definitely come back for more pampering.

I would suggest white linen on the bed.
