Great for female solo travellers! All girls in the house and its so easy to make friends and do stuff together. There is hot and cold water, laundry, towels, shampoo, body wash etc. and straightening irons, blowdryers, everything u need basically. I made so many friends bc of my stay here and its cheap! the location is also great its so close to the subway and hongdae street/clubbing area but its not too loud outside. the dormitory I stayed in also had its own fridge besides the one in the kitchen. Late check in was also smooth for me.

The guesthouse feels more like a flat share than a hostel which is a positive, it feels more cosy and independent. I like that there are breakfast foods, tea and coffee etc in the kitchen for breakfast and a cash jar to put what you owe inside, it shows trust from the owners for people to not abuse the system which is nice. The bathroom and showers were good and I like the common areas. Also very close to the station for easy travel anywhere

The only downsides were that the beds were super uncomfortable for me, they were small metal bunkbeds that moved a lot with any slight movement. If you can afford it I would upgrade your stay as I looked in other rooms and the beds looked nicer than the ones I was in. Also as there is no one looking over the guesthouse the rules were frequently overlooked when it comes to noise. People would be loud in the communal areas past midnight, although this isn’t an issue with the property it is something to consider

Location is very close to all the party places in Hongdae, They provide a simple free breakfast before 11am (eggs, bread, jam, butter, juice, coffee) actually thats a lot, its cheap to pay too after 11am its just 2000krw or something, which is totally worth it. Room, it depends on you how you keep it, but they do clean it when asked, and every 12pm there is vacuuming that happens, but there are bags left behind by previous guests which needs to be cleaned, but i understand even the cleaning incharge cannot touch it not knowing who it belongs to. Its always so lively and welcoming, this was my 2nd time going top Able, and will stay there if i ever go back to Seoul

IMy stay at Able guesthouse was comfortable. Initially, there was some miscommunication regarding my reservation but the staff of the guesthouse was quick to figure things out and make sure that I wasn't inconvenienced too much during my stay in Seoul. After the initial confusion from my side, the communication and everything else went smoothly. The location of the guesthouse is fantastic and and, considering the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the place was. Also, it was nice that the room was so warm despite the cold weather, and I really enjoyed the floor heating.

This isn't really something I didn't like about the guesthouse but there seemed to be some information lag between booking.com and the guesthouse, which caused some confusion for me in the beginning. For one, I didn't realize that I had to check my message inbox within the booking.com website in the beginning for the check-in information, and later I was confused by the payment methods (my reservation stated that I had opted for prepayment but in reality booking.com had not taken the money from my bank account). Everything went well in the end but I think that maybe there are some improvements booking.com website should do to communicate more clearly as the middle-man between the customer and the provider.

very accessible to the train station, which sits on the same line from Incheon Airport. Take the normal line, it will lead to straight to Hongdae, don't take the express train, you will have to exit at Seoul Station and change trains and walk quite a long way to the exits. Late night restaurants around the hostel, some opens until 2am. Bus services are abundant too, you can take buses after trains stop operations. Oh.. and there are plenty of convenience stores around as well. Cosy and comfortable stay!

nothing much, just get used to a lot of walking and climbing of stairs in general in Korea.

My partner and I stayed for about a week in the double room with private washroom. Ridiculously great price for the location. The room and bed was comfortable too. The breakfast was good, simple fare- eggs, bread, jam, butter, milk and juice. Really appreciated the free amenities. I have a LINE account so it was very easy to get in touch with the staff. He was super clear with check in instructions and even sent video instructions for how to get to the guesthouse from airport bus or train.

I don't think the washroom door was insulated so it was VERY leaky after a shower. I noticed there was water damage which would be okay if it wasn't so close to an outlet. We just didn't use that one.

Localization was great! Very close to the Hongik Univ. Station, many restaurants, several convinient stores and other shopping mals. In room are waiting nice and clean rubber slippers, so you don't have to pack your own. The same goes for shampoo, bodywash, hair conditioner and toothpaste waiting for you in the bathroom. In the room there was also hairdryer, small fridge and microvawe - everything clean and working. The staff also let us leave luggages before check-in without any problems.

There is not many power points in the room. Be aware that in bathroom there is no curtain separating shower and other space - not wetting your staff takes a little bit of gymnastics.

The atmosphere was really nice, I met the best people here and will definitely come back again. The breakfast included in the price is really good and the beds were comfortable in my opinion. They also had curtains going all the way around which I liked. The location is very convenient, close to hongdae station.

The staff didn't offer many instructions other than how to get there. I mostly asked other guests when I had questions. But that was just my preference, I could definitely have asked the staff directly via kakaotalk. It also wasn't super clean, I personally don't mind since it's what I usually expect from so many people living together. The staff did vacuum daily and once a week a cleaning person came but there was still a lot of hair everywhere, which I guess just happens with so many women in one place. If you're squeamish you might not like it though. The important parts (sink, beds, toilet) were clean enough for me. For the price it's really good and I will definitely come again.

The location is superb. 5 mins walk to Hongik uni Station. The bed in the photo doesn’t look comfortable but it is surprisingly very comfy. The rooms are kept warm at all times (floor heating). Because there is no housekeeping, You help yourself with fresh Towels and other amenities. There are simple breakfast in the kitchen on Level 2, you make your own eggs, toast, cereal and coffee. Our host was Nikita, you got to checkin via Kakao talk or whatapp first to get all the checkin procedures.

If you have heavy luggages, just remember you got to take it yourself up and down the stairs. No lift.

I loved this accommodation for the strategic location, you are in the heart of Hongdae. The room was very cozy and having the shared kitchen available was really convenient for our nightly snacks. The underfloor heating is really nice as it was really cold outside, but it was great in the room. I wanted to particularly thank the host, because when we had problems with extremely noisy neighbors... he resolved the situation in a short time. It was an unforgettable holiday for us and thanks also to this structure we were able to enjoy the nightlife to the fullest. We can't wait to return. Thank you.

I didn't find any particular problems, so I don't feel like writing anything. The only unpleasant thing that can happen is having noisy neighbors, but it doesn't depend on the structure, but on the rudeness of the people.
