I had an amazing experience staying at Mama Guesthouse in Myeongdong with Amm, Yabam n Sirih. The location is absolutely perfect—just a few minutes' walk from the Myeongdong shopping district and close to the subway, making it easy to explore all the major attractions in Seoul. The guesthouse itself is charming and cozy. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds were soft, and the amenities provided were more than adequate. The common areas are also a nice touch, offering a great place to relax and socialize with fellow travelers. The free breakfast was a nice bonus and a perfect start to the day. I highly recommend Mama Guesthouse Myeongdong to solo travelers or couples. Not recommended for those who travel with elderly and childrens

we have to walk a little bit, but that's South Korea mostly people walk

Very clean, nice staff, friendly/family atmosphere. Overall good value and I liked that I didn't have to pay until check in, so I was able to use my Korean bank card.

The walls/doors are very thin, and I could hear what other guests were doing in their rooms very easily. Also, my headboard wasn't secured to the bed frame, which was a bit odd.

You get what you pay for. Location is really good. Subway station is nearby within a 10 minute walk. Staff was really helpful to fix any problems. I didn't have hot water at first but was able to get it turned on.

Several things: 1. Room is quite small for the money you pay 2. Air conditioner wouldn't adjust fan speed and looked like it could be cleaned 3. Shower stall had visible mold around some places 4. Bed/mattress was not real comfortable. Not bad but not real good. Breakfast could've provided fruit and hard-boiled eggs though I understood it was continental. They provided cereal, toast, jam, peanut butter, coffee, and cup noodle. Walls a little thin so I could hear noise from other room and hallway, but fortunately other guests were not too loud. self check in was easy! the bathroom was large and the shower had a glass panel to separate it from the toilet it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the subway and lots of buses I liked the kitchen area downstairs and the free breakfast

the rooms are very dated and small the hostel is quite a way up the hill/mountain so keep in mind that you will either need to walk up many steep hills and steps or take a taxi to get there the walls were very thin so I could hear a group talking and laughing until 12am and I could even hear a person across the hall snoring! bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper
