Near all the public transport and have a full facilities. The owner is really kind. He even help my sister which is not stay at there to find a cab and let her crush in my room while waiting. He also really considerate when I asked to used a washing machine early than the time and let me stay longer in the room with no extra charge about 3 hours for me to wait for my laundry and repacked my bag. One you are really good house owner. ❤️

I have to walk up to the hill. Since I have a knee condition it is a little bit of challenge for me.

Great location and value for money. The guesthouse is located slightly uphill but it is not too steep if you walk from Myeongdong station. Despite it is only a few minutes walk from the station and the touristy Myeongdong area with major department stores, The North Face, Oliver & Young etc, the guesthouse surroundings are quiet. There are all basic items in the room (including heater) and a hot (& cold) water machine in the common area which I find very useful in my visit in winter.

Would be better if there are a few more pairs of slippers on days with many guests. (the common area is clean so it doesn't affect much)

We arrived early and left our luggage first to check-in later. 6-7 minutes downhill walk to Myeongdong station. The host was very kind and accommodating. It was quiet, sound proofing was good for our room, and we hardly bumped into anyone else. We did not try the breakfast though as we started our day very early. The kitchen looked well-equipped. Water, coffee and tea were available throughout the day. The bathroom is more spacious that I expected. The bedroom floor is heated! That was a nice surprise so it was very comfortable. For a twin room, it was sufficient space for both of us (I have stayed in much, much smaller private rooms in Seoul). Great value for money. Very affordable stay in central Seoul. If you're going to Namsan Tower, the cable car station is 2 minutes walk :) yes it is that high up the hill.

Nothing specific. We enjoyed our stay. Note: If you dislike walking uphill, you might want to reconsider, it requires effort. Or you can get a taxi, maybe. We only 'suffered' with our luggage on the first day, the rest of the days we were happy to get good workout for the legs :)

accommodation chosen for its proximity to the meeting point for the organized tour we had booked. The room has just the essentials for sleeping and showering. Breakfast offers something basic, but the addition of the guest fridge, where you can keep something you buy outside, has toned down the simplicity. The staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. I knew there was a washing machine, but finding the dryer too was "WOW" for me.

the electrical outlets were the only downside for me. The room has 6 of them, but all 6 did not hold the chargers securely, and therefore I had to find a way to keep them from falling out of the socket and not having the charge on the cell phone (important for using Naver and Papago if you don't know the place and don't speak muck Korean language). And also the lack of a chair where you can put your clothes down when you go to sleep.

The room was great—spacious and clean. I chose one with a private bathroom. It’s not far from Myeongdong Market, just a short walk away. The host was lovely, easy to talk to, and very kind. However, it might not be ideal for those who dislike uphill walking, as the path is a bit steep. But it’s very accessible from the airport—buses stop on the main road, and it’s just a short walk from there. It’s also convenient for getting back and close to the subway.

The room was spacious with a heated floor (winter), free breakfast, and complete amenities. You can even cook your own meal. They also provide heat packs and face mask. The staff were helpful and responsive if you have questions or need assistance with. The place is located at the upper part and it's walking distance from Myeongdong shopping street and N Seoul Tower.

1. The location is great. It's just at the foot of the Namsan mountain with the tower and 10 min away from a central market. 2. The host was nice and spoke English 3. They had provided everything we'd need, including wifi, towels, and breakfast. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a shared kitchen with everything you'd need and a laundry room

1. The facilities are kind of old, like rusty metal parts, some paint fallen off the walls, and there was some mold in the bathroom.

Very close to main attractions, also, you living near famous tower cable car. Very good stuff, allowed me to leave luggage for more than week, while travelling around country. 24h groceries around, also you can wash clothes here.

You need to walk up on hill little bit form public transport, so if have heavy luggage consider better take cab.Just by walking it’s ok.

Everything! The host One let me leave our luggages in the guesthouse for 4 days before we even checked in. We were travelling to Busan and was checked in at another hotel near his guesthouse and because leaving our luggages in the locker (subway) would cost a lot, I asked if we could leave it with him. Without hesitation, he said yes. And four days later, we finally checked in and found our heavy luggages inside this huge room that he allocated for us. When we were flying to Jeju, he again let me leave our luggages for four days, and as expected, our heavy luggages were in the same room we checked out from, placed neatly in the corner of this huge room when we came back from Jeju. He's really helpful, generous, accommodating, and hospitable. He is running a business but he is not driven by money, but by his heart and his passion to help people. I travel a lot but I have never met any host like him. If I were to go back to Seoul, Namsan Gil House is definitely my place to stay. I remember reading from one of his messages posted on the kitchen wall - he decided to call his B&B as a house and not a guesthouse because he would like his guests to treat it as their home, and that in itself speaks for the kind of person that he is. He even let us keep our luggage in the room for one night for free!! All the best to you One, and thank you for everything! You made our stay in Seoul so memorable 😊

The experience was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind, and the room was very comfortable, with large beds. The price was great for the quality of the room we got. For us girls, it was perfect because it had two mirrors and even a hairdryer. For two girls, this room was perfect, and there was cold water, which was really helpful for the sweltering heat of Seoul.
