I’m very satisfied with Metro Hotel Myeongdong, excellent location (just 2 minute from Airport Bus and Metro station, one step ahead from Myeongdong night street market that many store and food 😍❤️) , excellent service, friendly staff.. I really recommend the hotel and would definitely use this hotel again when I return to Seoul.

Location!! The hotel is located literally 2 minutes walk from the Green line (Euljiro-1) and it is surrounded by shops and restaurants. However, you can be sure that you will sleep well at night as there is little to none noise. Facilities Room - good size. Honestly, I only used the room to sleep, so it worked perfectly to me (and to everyone who thinks the same way). The shower was excellent! I stayed in July and so having a good shower with good water pressure in a nice and clean bathroom made the stay even more enjoyable. There is a convenience store and a Starbuck connected to the Hotel, so anytime you feel like you want something to drink/eat, you can always rely on them. The staff were very nice and smiley which is always a plus. I am sure I will come back!

Although I loved everything, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the mattress which was a bit too hard (but it might depend on the room you are in).

Me and my fiancé stayed here for 5 days. I loved the location and the room size. I recently stayed in a different hotel (SkyPark) right down the street from this hotel and the room was fun-sized/horrible. So this hotel was a welcome change since the room was almost triple the size. Wifi worked pretty good with only minor interruptions. At checkout, they already had a taxi waiting for us to take us to ICN airport.

One of the front desk receptionist didn't speak good English and would just brush us off instead of trying to communicate via translate app.

The room was so unique and cute! I loved the style. I made a special request for the room with two double beds and the large desk space because we would be working from the room and they provided! The room was huge! Much larger than you would expect for a standard room. We were also very happy that the window was small because we were sleeping odd hours and the room was super dark with the lights off. The staff were great and they had umbrellas available when it rained :) also the location was fantastic!! Right next to the subway, so so so many great restaurant options right outside and a a convenience store attached so i didnt even need to get out of my PJs to get midnight Peppero haha.

The laundry facility was just washer and dryer and was quite expensive. I think 5000 won for each. So 10 000 for a load. It would have also been nice if the shared lounge area had plugs for charging. For someone just staying a few nights and not working though neither of these would likely be a concern. We stayed for a week and were working from there.

- Quite near to Eujiro station and in the middle of Myeongdong area. Lots of stores and restaurants close to the hotel, quite convenient. - In the lobby, they have a direct doors to access Seven Eleven and Starbucks - Room is ok (exactly as described) and cleaned every day - Front desk was quite helpful in arranging a taxi for us to go back to Incheon Airport

- Only 1 laundry machine and 1 dryer which worked pretty poorly. We took 3 hours to dry our clothes, even though it's a commercial machine (not domestic/house machines like we buy for our houses) - Air conditioner doesn't work well. You cannot set a exact temperature - it works by range (like 20C, 25C). Quite terrible - it was too hot or too cold most of the times - Room door is quite heavy, be careful

i love everything about this hotel. worth it! its clean & the toilet bidet was a plus for us. the shower & heaters in the room are excellent! (especially during winter)

We stayed at the Metro Hotel on 2 occasions during our holiday to South Korea. The Comfort Twin rooms were an excellent size for adults and luggage (and shopping). Each of our 3 rooms were configured a little differently - one had a 2 sinks (which was fabulous), one had a 2 large beds on a platform (also great) - and each was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff are helpful. The lobby is directly attached to both a 7/11 and Starbucks. The laundry facility and Guest Lounge on Level 2 is a brilliant idea. The hotel is in an excellent location in the "quiet" end of Myeongdong and all the shops and restaurants and street food vendors. Within a 2 minute walk to the Eulgiro-1 Subway station on the Green Line. The Green Line was very convenient to all the major sites in Seoul, as well as being easy to interchange to other lines. Also a 2-3 minute walk from the Hotel is the Airport Limousine bus stop - choose from 2 stops actually, either the Ibis Hotel or the airport bus stop on Eulji-ro near the Lemon Mart. Easy walking distance (within 10 minutes) to Lotte Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, SPAO and the amazing Namdaemun Market. Even though we didn't spend much time in Myeongdong, everything about our stay at Metro Hotel was great due to the hotel staff, facilities and location. Highly recommended.

Only 1 lift to the Guest Floors.

The location is excellent being in the centre of the Myeongdong shopping and restaurant district and a short walking distance from a subway. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the reception staff were extremely helpful. T

The only downside were the breakfasts which the hotel has just started offering again. The breakfast was fine when we went early, but on the one day when we went later to breakfast pretty well all of the food had run out and the waitress was not willing to replenish the food.

I have stayed here once before. This trip was with friends and we booked 3 rooms. All was clean and comfortable. Location was great as it was my friends first time in Korea.

Make sure you double check your door closes all the way. My room would sometimes leave the door cracked open and if you didn’t push/pull it closed it would stay open.

Location was superb. Hotel is connected to a 7-11 convenience store which is good especially when we need a late night drink or snack. The hotel staff were friendly especially Elin. She was very efficient and helpful and she speaks good English. She gave clear directions as to where to go and how to get there when we were looking for a place to shop and dine. I also commend their housekeeping staff. The room makeover was spot on. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.
