Location is great, right by the beach where there is literally no one, the hotel was clean and super easy to park your car. The staff at front desk were so nice and really helped us with questions, spa bookings etc. Overall a great experience!

The music, very loud music, I wish instead of party music they played very low volume relaxing music. I can understand one day in the weekend of party music but not all day every day, it undervalues the hotel experience.

Very very clean. All staff excellent. Breakfast good. Drinks prices not too bad.

The food in the pool restaurant at lunchtime was poor. First day, we ordered chicken which was raw in the middle and had to send back. You can only order food at the bar before 1pm or after 4pm, so you have to eat in the pool restaurant if you are on bed and breakfast. Not good and over priced. Could do with more information about the hotel facilities. By the time we had learned everything about the hotel and facilities, it was time to go home. It would be good to have an information booklet in each room.

The hotel is perfect in every way. Spacious and spotlessly clean everywhere. Check in staff extremely helpful and informative. Our room was airy and cool with a luxuriously comfortable and enormous bed. Shower in bathroom was amazing. The food was the best hotel food I have ever had. Totally spoiled for choice and very well cooked. The buffet was constantly topped up and food never ran out . Lots of sunloungers and umbrellas around the pool area as well as places to sit and eat or enjoy the excellent evening entertainment. The hotel has direct access to a private beach. An outside pool bar or inside more laid back type of bar were both well stocked and both had plenty of seating. Going back to our room, it was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Bedding and towels were excellent quality and the bathrobes a real treat. Generous sizes of both towels and robes. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and to top it all parking was free. For those who want it there were plenty of international channels on TV including plenty of British ones. Pool towels provided along with tea and coffee making facilities.

Bar prices were not always consistent for the same drinks each day.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options and all good quality. The room was excellent. Clean and spacious. We had a "sea view" and it was lovely. We had an issue with a spa visit and the staff/hotel were super understanding and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. The facilities available to cyclist were excellent. Lockers, bike locks, bike wash, laundry facilities. It was all very appreciated. The staff were excellent. Many stood - friendly and helpful.

We were really put off by the need to "buy" water at meals. During our first few days, water was not available at breakfast or at dinner. Over the last few days, water was available at breakfast, but you had to purchase water at all times at dinner time. It felt like an unnecessary gouge. The "spa" was not worth the price - some of the things available were not functioning properly - the sensory shower and the steam room. The hottub is also kept at a tepid temperature, so if you are looking for a good, hot soak, this isn't it.

Fantastic 2nd visit to this Hotel..Staff so professional & helpful. Breakfast selection superb.We were celebrating a Birthday & got a lovely slice of chocolate cake as a birthday treat such a lovely touch.Thank you.

Only negative when checking out at 11am yesterday lots of people checking in which meant our journey home was delayed a bit whilst waiting for them to get sorted, we had waited until official 16.00 check in time when we arrived. They could have had a separate check out desk a lot of people would have to get somewhere Airport/Car hire etc..that's my only negative comment otherwise superb..

Ease of access/location; staff very helpful and friendly, and efficient; breakfast was amazing!; view was great, even though it was not a full seaview room; the swimming pool was gorgeous; the hotel room was clean, comfortable, quiet with lovely complementary coffee/tea.

Would have preferred a bathroom door that fully closed, plus an extractor fan. Would have preferred optional cappuccino for breakfast - the coffee in the breakfast room coffee machines was not nice at all. Other than that, it was a superb experience and I will recommend Hotel Cap Negret to friends/family.

The hotel is amazing . The staff are efficient & knowledgeable & extremely helpful. The breakfast was exceptional with so much choice ,excellent quality & everything so fresh & tasty . It’s a short walk into town both roadside & beach . If you’re doing the beach walk bring good walking shoes as it’s very rocky . The wellness area is small but has exactly what you need to relax & rejuvenate. This is definitely a hotel I would return to .

The rooms are basic & slightly on the small side.

Great sea and pool view from the patio. Well equipped gym and nice evening live entertainment. The free shuttle from the hotel to town and back is great added value.

The breakfast choices were amazing! In fact the choices for all the meals were beyond expectations. The rooms were well soundproofed from each other and it was nice to have a sofa to sit on. The hotel was quite away from the town centre and we were pleased that there was a free shuttle service.

We would have liked the inside bar to have been opened in the evening while we enjoyed a pre dinner drink. Not everyone likes the loud music that was being played by the outside bar. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable because there was a dip were I laid. It exacerbated my hip pain a little. If we had been staying more than the 3 nights, I would have contacted housekeeping.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff in the restaurant were so helpful and attentive. I couldn't fault the service and quality of the food. The transport dtiver who took us to Altea old Town was also very helpful in advising us directions as my husband has mobility problems.

While the staff on the bar outside were extremely busy with alot of people frequenting it. I found myself a bit frustrated at being overlooked.
