We were met with a friendly smile and made to feel welcome. Our room was warm and spotless. The bed was enormous and comfortable. There was a mini bar, hairdryer, and a kettle with tea/coffee. The buffet breakfast was included in the price of the room. Plenty to choose from with hams, cheese, fruit, yoghurt,cereals bacon and egg. The shower was piping hot. There is a well stocked bar and reasonably priced. Lovely shady outside seating at the front of the hotel and at the back overlooking the beach. The hotel is less than a minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and high street.

Nothing. We were very happy with all aspects of our holiday.

Location is great - 1 minute to the beach and 10 minutes to natural park. Accommodation is big, comfortable, and a big bathroom. My room was cleaned every day, and the towels were changed every day. Balcony is big enough, and there was nice view to the beach. I liked that there was an electric kettle and a fridge. And AC. There were a swimming pool and a sun lounge. Breakfast - the same options every day, but it's good to have it and enjoy Seaview at the same time.

This little gem of a hotel is absolutely beautiful. It overlooks the beach in a prime position, has it's own pool and bar. Deborah is a lovely friendly lady on reception who nothing is too much trouble for. The rooms are very big and the double bed was huge and so very comfortable. The rooms have been reformed and are very modern. The bathroom had the biggest shower I've seen. Tastefully decorated and comfortably warm and quiet. The location is right on the beach and easy to walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants of Albir. We will definitely be back!!!

There was nothing to not like!!

Room was very clean. The double bed was huge and comfortable. Location is perfect with a 2 minute walk to the beach and to the main road, which has many restaurants, bars and cafes, but the hotel is extremely peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast offered plenty of choice with scrambled egg and bacon to set you up for the day.

The tap in the sink did not work which was reported to staff when we left, but all of the important things were fine.

Fantastic view of the bay and the beach. The best location in L'Albir--one minute's walk to the beach and bars/restaurants, but the hotel itself is quiet and private. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Room was very clean.

I couldn't work out how to control the A/C. Was too cold when it was on but I sometimes couldn't turn it on at all so the room became very hot. Only one roll of toilet paper.

Absolutely stunning hotel, location, staff, food and room with a view. The perfect place to unwind and relax. There’s a drop off space outside for loading/unloading and parking on nearby streets was easy. Near enough to walk to everything, but far enough away not to hear it; just the sound of the sea.

There’s nothing not to like! I hope they pay the staff well as they do an outstanding job! This is a gem of a place!

Certification authority must be blind or mad. La Riviera deserves 3 stars without any doubt. Location is 4*, view is 5*, cleanliness is 5* and so on. Probably the lack of in-house parking determines a lower grade but even so.....I mean fresh croissants at breakfast.......We travel quite a lot and stayed in 3* hotels that are nowhere near LR.

Maybe a bigger TV screen but who goes to Altea in August to watch TV in the room? Haha

For a one star it was very good and better than the three stars I have stayed in the past. The breakfast and service was excellent. The bed was large and comfortable and the bedroom cleaned well every day.

While I was there, there was no access to the bar area in the evening and parking may be a problem when busy in summer.

The staff were true professionals and couldn't have been more helpful . The hotel is perfectly positioned to enjoy Albir. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Nice private pool and sunbathing area.Highly recommended.

I'm struggling to find any negatives.

This is a really lovely small hotel with simple clean and comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast facilities. The location is perfect for the beach and the restaurants as well as the National Park. Very helpful and personable staff. The gardens are very pretty. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Albir.
