Perfect location right in the middle of Barcelona, clean, friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants and cafes to explore. Nice the roof terrace.

The elevator was broken for half of stay time, so people was need go to room by stairs, and the door closing was really loud. There was no fridge in the room. No option for wash and dry clothes.

The reception staff were so lovely and helpful. Particularly Amelia (?). Such a welcoming and kind person. She spent time showing me local attractions and giving me her local knowledge. The hotel is in a really good location. Walking easily to the cathedral and Gothic area. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by ( recommend Syra coffee at the top of the calle. Great coffee and incredible granola bar). It wasn't THE BEST hotel I've stayed in, but it certainly wasn't the worst! It is, reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. Location is good. Staff are great. Worth a booking.

I was woken up both nights by noisy guests. This wasn't too loud and didn't go on too long, but it did disturb me. There is no minibar. I was helped by staff who kindly stored medication for me in their fridge. I was a bit chilly at night. Only 1 sheet on bed, which makes sense for summer months, but it is getting colder in the night end Sept. I'm very sure if I'd asked for additional sheets they would have been supplied, so probably a mute note, but if you feel the cold, just ask in advance for extra bedding perhaps.

Great location, the best! Small rooms but everything you need, really well designed. If you don't want your partner to see you in the shower then fine I understand the other reviews. No problem for me, he's my partner! As for the reviews about seeing your partner on the toilet, this is nonsense. There IS a door. Yes, it's not a 5 star hotel but highly functional and in a great location. Check in process is not for the faint hearted or those nervous of tech (like me and my husband) but staff are SO helpful. Even created a little door code we could use rather than these silly digital keys only on one phone. Thanks guys! It was quiet, calm and in the centre of beautiful Barcelona. Yes, I would prefer to be able to make coffee in my room or at least get one at reception before 9am but you get what you pay for. Our in laws paid 4 times the amount to stay in a 4 star practically next door.. for what?! A coffee machine and rooftop pool. Well, Barcelona is a city to be out and about. This hotel does what it says on the tin and does it well. Beds were super comfortable too. Staff were top top! Thank you

Perfect room and beautiful hotel. Modern, boutique feels, crisp, clean and the staff were so helpful in providing tips with a few questions I had about the area. The staff had upgraded my room as they said if they have any of the better rooms free they always aim to make these available and upgrade where they can. Perect location with walking distance to many local attractions. I travelled solo and felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. However the bath towels are extremely small. Bigger ones needed for future guests.

The hotel has been thoughtfully modernized from a centuries-old brick building to a chic and attractive lodging (with an elevator!). It's on a quiet street in the El Born area, very near the (gorgeous) Palau de la Musica Catalana. The decor is charming, the staff is extremely helpful, the location is convenient for walking to many tourist sites and public transportation.

There was no place to set our luggage; we lived out of the suitcases which stayed on the floor.

Clean and comfy hotel near main spots like La Rambla, El Gotic, Ciutadella Park etc. Also metro stop is very close and the bus stop for Aerobus is in walkable distance. So points for the location! Good restaurants / cafes near by.

The sink was next to the bed and it was quite small, the water splashed a bit around. Keep mind that if you are not that close with your travel company, there are thin glass doors between the room and toilet / shower, so it might be awkward!

Finding the hotel was the only challenge. We arrived late in the evening. Our Taxi driver dropped us off two blocks from hotel. Had difficult time to locate hotel. There was no visible hotel or street signs. Neighborhood shop owner assisted us to locate the hotel. Recommend better sign directing customers to hotel. Staff informed us next day that hotel is accessible to taxi. Hotel did arrange taxi to come through the narrow streets when we checked out.

I love the single rooms with balconies. They are on the corners of the hotel and have always been very quiet. This time was no exception. Always v clean and with comfortable bed and hot shower.

Would be nice to have at least a paper cup in the room for a drink. While the app entry process is efficient I did panic a bit as there were internet issues on the night I was there and I came back late to a message on my phone initially to say app unavailable due to internet. Fortunately a few minutes later it worked. With the hotel not staffed at night I’m not sure what would happen if the app failed?

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke English very well but were also willing to help me practice my Espanol! They were willing to look up directions for public transportation and were knowledgeable of attractions. The location is great, easy landmark of a Palau, and coffee shop at corner of street.

Once you are acquainted with the streets it is easy to navigate, or if you have phone GPS, but the taxi couldnt go right to the small hotel street. He stopped on the larger connecting street and I walked from there.

Very clean, position is just awesome, the decor of the Guest House is very nice and cozy. Several spaces to cowork and terrasses are available.

Size of the room, lack of light, impossibility to open the window. The price for these reasons seems a bit high to me, although the exceptional position. The reception keeps on sending automatic messages that sometimes are in conflict with the actual up-to-date ones. The application suggested to open the doors of the Guest House - which has no privacy whatsoever - is not actually necessary, and that is not clear from any message.
