This was a great location inside a very pretty building. The room was a bit older, but the furniture was functional, clean, and comfortable. The shared amenities available were impressive for the price (fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, sink, dishes, reading materials, etc.). The shared bathrooms were small but clean, and almost always available when we needed them. The elevator up to the pension was also very charming. The staff were always helpful and nice.

The windows in the room were a bit old and did not close very tightly, so noises from outside tended to be easily heard at night while trying to sleep. Other than that, we were very pleased with this stay.

I was surprised and so pleased that guests could use the washing machine and clothes dryer as normally I believe the use is only for the owner to wash bed sheets etc. Tomo was very kind and attentive to my needs from the time I arrived until I departed, he was most helpful. I recommend to anyone they should book a stay with Tomo.

Barcelona regrettably is more of an expensive city to stay which I did not expect.

Very welcoming staff, from my very late arrival to storing my backpack on the last day. The room was basic but clean, comfy and well worth the money for the location. The pension is in an old, charming building with a working elevator.

The walls were very thin, but it was quiet in my part of the floor.

Air conditioning worked well. The location was great. The staff were friendly.

The whole hostel is on one floor of the building so reception, shared bathrooms, and all of the rooms are on the same floor and it can get a little noisy for a few hours each day. Also, there is only one bathroom for men and one for women which might keep you waiting.

Good value for money. Great location. Good communal facilities. A/C provided. Nice en-suite bathroom.

It would have been good to have clearer instructions about how to access the property. Wi-Fi occasionally cuts out and takes a few minutes to re-connect. No natural light in the bedroom (just the bathroom).

Perfect location! Very kind host, who let me check in earlier and leave my luggage in the pension on the last day till late afternoon. My room was really tiny but lovely with a comfortable bed and a littly balcony. The bed linen and the towels were fresh and clean.

The common rooms could be cleaner and need some repair.

Great location, clean, has everything you need including a washing machine and microwave. Friendly staff, thank you and our great holiday!

You can hear your neighbors very well, so if at some point there are noisy guys living next door to you, you will hear them until 5 am

Hostal is located on a third floor of a classic gothic-stylish building in the old town center of Barcelona. For me it was exceptional to feel living in this building and ride in elevator that I believe is from the beginning of 20th century. Another think that I like is the host who was very helpful and friendly. I was only one night, and on the next day I checked out before 11h and asked him if I could leave my luggage until the evening since I had flight at night. Not only he accepted to do that, but he even gave me keys from another room that was free on that day and let me use the shower.

Everything was perfect for me.

I just want to thank the owners of this place for providing a housing solution with dignity (it was clean, modern and well cared) within a moderate-budget in Barcelona. After all of the ridiculous overpriced options in the city this place was a dream!!

I have not a single complaint about my experience

Host was very attentive, received us at a very late check-in, explained everything, showed everything, was very polite and friendly. The room and beds were clean. Beds were comfortable. In general, the hostel was quiet and comfortable.

The only one negative thing was made by the city, not the hostel — there is very noisy street right under the window. Late at night there were too many loud motorcycles and scooters. I really was strugling while trying to sleep. But it's not a hostel fault. Barcelona is not a quite city, especially in a hisorical and tourists zones.
