Location was outstanding. Walkable to lots of the things a visitor to Barcelona would want to do. A block from metro station and to the dropoff/pickup stop for the airport express bus.

The hotel "office" is only open for limited hours so it's unliikely you'll see hotel staff. They are good at sending you instructions - but with flawed info - about how to access the building and check yourself in without needing to talk to staff. This is vital because the hotel office has very limited hours, probably not open when you check in or want to depart. And those instructions are confusing. They require some problem solving to get through a main door that requires a code and then walking up flights of stairs to get keys for your floor and your room on that floor. I sent messages asking questions and more information and did not receive answers. Fortunately everything worked out, but I I had been stuck at any point, I felt like I had no way to get real answers from anyone.

The location is amazing; it was very walkable everywhere, and the metro was right next to us, along with many grocery shops and cafes for breakfast time. Additionally, there was an elevator, which was very convenient. It was also very clean and had everything we needed in both the kitchen and the room. The staff member at reception was also very pleasant.

There were four rooms with two bathrooms on one floor. Since we visited during a less busy time, the bathrooms were always available, but I can see it could be a problem with more people. Also maybe adding more shelves for clothes and various stuff to the rooms could be nice.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It’s just meters away from the Aerobus stop, making it incredibly convenient for airport transfers. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Additionally, the hostel is within walking distance to the city center, and there’s also a metro station nearby for easy access to the rest of the city. The hostel itself is extremely clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the place is truly amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

I have no complaints.

We loved staying at the Bird House. The location is excelent and everything we needed was provided. We were happy there was a lift up to our floor as stairs would have been an issue. The kitchen is basic but just what is needed for a short stay, with a hob, kettle, microwave and even a washing machine. The staff we talked to were all nice and helpful. Everything was clean.

The bed was not very comfortable, if you have problems with your back, it might not be a best choice. The curtains a bit thin. It might help to have a sign on every floor to close the lift door when leaving it as sometimes the lift was stuck on a higher floor when tge door where left open.

The location was great very close to metro station. The property was clean. The building a bit old but all working. The beds were metal so made a bit of noise every time you moved. The break fast was good but basic you could only have 1 bocadillo of your choice and a cup of coffee. You had to go to a cafe with Birds House voucher to get your breakfast.

Would have liked a better breakfast at least with orange juice and more coffee as the cup of coffee served were very small.

Nice room and location, equipped shared kitchen and clean shared baths.

Barcelona is in the thick of a serious drought with quickly dwindling water supplies and strict rations for locals, but tourists would never know it as there's no signage asking visitors to conserve water. This is creating significant and understandable animosity against tourists. Please at least post information about the drought so we can at least lessen our impact and be respectful.

We felt very safe because of their security. Really easy to find, very close to a tube station and right next to a bus stop so makes it easy to get to the airport. We were able to walk 20 mins to the main shopping district which was very handy. Loads of brunch/bars/restaurants nearby. The shared facilities were really useful for storing food in the fridge etc. They supplied towels which was pleasant surprise although they had a few stains. Great AC.

The beds had dips in them which made it slightly uncomfortable. Unfortunately the area which it is located in is sketchy at night which made us feel unsafe walking back from bars.

The room and facilities were exactly what was expected based on the listing. Was great to be able to do some washing and cook a few meals in the shared space. The clothes rack in the room enabled us to unpack our suitcase and "settle in" somewhat, which was really nice. The air conditioner in our room was a dream given the very hot temperatures in Barcelona that week.

Our bed was a bit squeezy and walls were a little thin – our neighbours weren't very quiet so we didn't sleep well on our first night. I wasn't particularly bothered by this, but "city views" was mentioned on the listing which was not accurate.

Good communication with the accommodation prior to holiday. Clear & concise instructions regarding entry. We had the private bathroom & it was well kept & generally a nice and decent sized bathroom. Beds were comfy, cosy & quaint room. Not too much noise. Everyone on our floor was also very friendly :)

The shared kitchen utensils & kettle weren’t the cleanest so we didn’t use them. And between the 6 of us we would’ve appreciated an extra key (wasn’t much of an issue).

It was a very good location. The metro is just across the road. It’s on the airport bus stop route. La Rambla is walking distance. The room was very basic, not cluttered, had everything you need. The air con worked well.

We had shared bathrooms, which is fine. However it was frustrating that there was only 2, they had the shower and toilet inside. There was a lot of people on our floor, waiting for the toilet took a long time. It would be easier if there was another toilet by itself.
