Anna was an incredible hostess. From the time we arrived, she made us feel at home. She explained how we could get to all of the sights of interest and, knowing the type of croissants we enjoyed most for breakfast, she made sure they were on our table. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. The room was a little on the small side but it was clean and we had everything we needed. The curtains totally "blacked out" any lighting or street noise which was nice. We slept well! The location was great and we could walk to everything. The property also has an elevator which was a real bonus. Lots of restaurants in the area and a very nice supermarket on the corner of the street. We enjoyed this property very much.

There was nothing not to like about this property.

Although clasified as hostel, the place had everything as some 3* hotel. Everything was clean, the room had simple but practical set up. The stuff were so nice and helpful, they even made us some sandwiches for our night departure. I find the location very smart, although the hostel is not in the very center, everything important is clouse enough (max 30 minutes by bus), yet you are in peaceful and good neibourhood and you can have quiet sleeping hours.

The mirror somewhere in the room (except for the one in the bathroom) would be a very practical and useful tool.

At the beginning i was skeptical of so many good reviews, but after staying 4 nights there with my family (wife and 2 kids) i can honestly say that it was great. Good location (we mostly used the bus (less hot than waiting for the subway)and with a bus stop at only a couple of steps it was very comfortable), the place is quiet, very clean, the room was very big, also we had air conditioner and big windows which allowed a good amount of natural light. The breakfast was normal, not many options but what they had was always good and enough (see pictures). And finally all the people taking care of the hotel are very friendly, attentive and helpful. It's a really good place, next time i will probably stay there again. Keep the good work.

I have evaluated the reviews before booking, and it was exactly as the majority mentioned. Super clean, very good position in the city, helpful staff. The location is at the 1st floor of an apartment building, and very close to buses and public transport. The price was very good compared to other hotels in the same area.

the downside, which was also mentioned in other comments is the noise that they water pumping system makes (or air conditioning, not clear). And the fact that the rooms are not sound-proofed, meaning you can easily hear walking around the lobby or guests entering their rooms, or if they talk loud in their rooms. On the other hand, this has to be considered realistically, in terms of price it was excellent compared to others nearby. Being at the 1st floor you can also hear a lot of noise from the street itself. But again, for what I paid, for the location, for the cleanliness in the room and bathroom, everything was very good.

Everything was clean, the staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, good public transport.

I can't give enough credit to how helpful, pleasant, friendly and accommodating the man at the reception counter was. There were many people as staff there during our stay, but there was a middle-aged man specifically that was incredibly thoughtful with us guests. Room met and even exceeded slightly our expectations. Very clean, very comfy, very neat and ideal. Small, quaint, but perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was great too.

Some odd noises in the bathroom while the water runs and drain in the shower didn't work properly. In any case, I would definitely come back. The good aspects compensate these minor inconveniences by far.

Very good location, less then 1 minute to the bus stop, away from the large crowds, the staff was really nice and helpfull. At the ground floor there was a supermarket which was really great. Breakfast was ok, the same each morning but we liked it.

Not really soundproof, we had the room with full view to the street so early morning we heard everything, the trucks that came for the supermarket, and the overall ouside noise.

We loved the accomodation in this hostal. Very clean, tidy and spacious room. The bed was was very comfortable and they cleaned the room and changed the towels every day. The coffee machine was available at all times. Some tasty sweets for breakfast :) Anna,the owner was very helpful and friendly. Our flight off was early in the morning, and they prepared the breakfast package for us :) We surely recommend the place !

We recommend to change the variety of breakfast sortiment from one day to another, more veggies and perhaps boiled eggs would be really appreciated (as there were only tomatoes,and no eggs at all,what is a basic component of breakfast for many folks ). But we still liked it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We could leave our luggage before and after checkout, it was a big help for us. Nice gluten-free breakfast options.

There was no vegan options for breakfast beside the plant based milk. I have milk and egg sensitivity, I let them know in advance and they told me they can’t provide it for me so it was fair. But I don’t understand why, because they had 4-5 gluten-free options (so at least my partner could eat). Anyway everything else was good, I just wanted to let it know for those who have the same issues like me.

The room had everything we needed in there. Comfortable bed, spacious and little noise from inside or outside the hostal. A short wall from the main station in Barcelona, the hostal was easy to find and close to metro stations and local shops and amenities. Staff were very helpful, friendly and always available. Breakfast was served in an adjacent room which had a wide selection on offer.
