My room was upgraded (i guess) because I had a cute little terrace with a table and two chairs. I couldn’t use it because it was to cold, but it was really lovely. The room in general was extremely good - had everything, iron kettle, coffee machine, hairdryer, shower is very good pressure. Spa is clean and renovated, but really small even for 6 people. Breakfast is high level! I definitely would stay there again.

I think 50 minutes of spa is not enough, spa is extra price

We had a lovely room - they put us on the 7th floor so we had a balcony we weren’t expecting. The bed was very comfortable, the room got very dark at night for sleeping, and the temperature was very controllable. The shower pressure was GREAT and the shower itself was lovely. Staff were all very friendly. The parking was right at the hotel. It was an easy walk everywhere we wanted to go (10 minutes to Guggenheim, 20 minutes to old city)

The food at the restaurant was fair but the service was quite poor. I think maybe they had much more of a crowd than they’d expected, but they ran out of many items and the waits were long. Staff still friendly during tho

The location of the hotel was excellent, everything we wanted to see or do was within walking distance. We felt very safe and the area had some lovely restaurants. The breakfast was excellent with a tremendous amount of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked a couple of restaurants for us. We had booked a Superior room which was located on the 5th floor, the room had plenty of space and there was a good amount of wardrobe space. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a good size. The water was always nice and hot in the shower. Our towels were changed regularly. Further our room was lovely and quiet. All in all we thought the hotel was excellent.

Nice hotel with walking distance to everything. Very good breakfast, good beds and very friendly and helpful staff all over the hotel. Outside terrace. Quiet.

The pool and the gym and the balcony could have been a little bit bigger, but nice to have the opportunity.

Staff were incredibly helpful and nice and to speak to. The room with the balcony was lovely with great views of Bilbao and Catalonia Gran Via and it was nice that we could see the fireworks during the August festival from our own balcony. The spa access was also great alongside the breakfast variety and quality of the food. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again

The rooftop pool is much smaller in reality than in the pictures and it would benefit from having a small bar/ drinks area or just having staff up there to help with anything you need as a guest

We felt the warm welcome the moment we entered the reception and Maria gave us useful info about the town and good restaurants nearby, very well trained and polite personnel ( we travel a lot and I can say this is by far one of the best hotels we stayed in) Because on the last day of our stay at Catalonia the water had to be cut as a measure of city’s water hygienical measures, Maria told us we were upgraded to a room with a terrace( nice surprise) and I think this is a sign of a very good and civilised manner of treating clients! Bravo, we had a very nice vacation and we sure will be back in beautiful Bilbao! P.s Salutari si lui Alex de la receptie!🙂

Easy to find location on a busy road with lots of other hotels. Close to parks, the river and the Guggenheim. Parking available right next door. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice lobby and bar area and a really great courtyard out back. Rooms was very sizeable and bed was comfy. Nice atmosphere throughout. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was very nice. We had a bar snack meal in the evening and that was very tasty as well. There's a rooftop pool and a spa/pool area in the basement, which looked really nice.

Not much to say except the rooftop pool is quite small and was very busy. The spa area required quite a hefty charge I thought, so we passed. It seemed a mistake as other hotels offer the service free to guests. I had requested a balcony and got one on the fifth floor, so, you know, heights. I need to re-think this.

The Hotel is in a great location close to Bilbao City Centre and the river, about 20-25 minutes walk to the old part of the City. The team at the hotel were really helpful and friendly and worked hard to accommodate our early check-in request. Our room was comfortable and quiet as it was situated at the back of the hotel. We were able to park under the hotel which was really convenient (but not for the feint hearted if you have a large car!) There are plenty of restaurant options around the hotel and a really nice park adjacent with nice water features.

We did not have Breakfast at the Hotel because we thought €20 per head was quite expensive. We found a good alternative option close to the hotel which was more modestly priced.

Reception staff were extremely helpful and check-in was an easy process. The hotel is only a few metres away from a stop for the airport bus, making for a cheap method of getting to/from Bilbao airport. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk into the old town, so the general location is great and the shops are nearby too. Our bathroom had the most fantastic shower, possibly the best I've ever used, and the bed was extremely comfortable, something which is often not the case in hotels. Breakfast was great with lots of choice to suit everyone. One small negative is that the hot foods weren't kept sufficiently warm and I did bring this fact to the attention of Reception so things might well have been different the day after we had checked out.

Aside from the small breakfast issue mentioned, there was nothing to dislike.

The hotel has a very good location from where you can reach the Guggenheim Museum and the Intermodal station in 15 minutes on foot. If you don’t want to walk, the bus linking all these POIs and the airport stops less than 100 m away. My room was very comfortable and clean, had good design, and it looked exactly as shown on the website. There are plenty of plugs in the room including USB-C type. The staff is very friendly. The hotel offered a free drink upon check in. There are many restaurants in the area and a good supermarket around the corner.
