Friendly and helpful staff, lovely large suite which means children could go to bed and we could stay up. Super comfy beds, balcony with loungers and table and chairs with an airer for drying your swimming things. Close proximity to shops and restaurants although would only reccomend Galeon Restaurant as all the rest have basically the same menu on offer. Not too busy considering it was half term, always able to get a sunlounger around the pool and animation team worked hard, although they played the same music at poolside every day. Great to have 4 choices of pools which really helped to choose if you wanted more sun or more shade and one side of the hotel is breezier than the other. One pool is heated others are not and are pretty cold even with the lovely hot weather - although alright once you were in and used to it. Lots of choices at breakfast buffet including chocolate dipped churros and pancakes as well as cereals, pastries, choice of breads, cooked breakfast, fruit, cheese ham etc as well as juices coffees etc - something for everyone of all ages.

Could be a bit noisy at night, particularly loud music on weekend evenings until 2am which I think came from somewhere near hotel not hotel itself. Lack of hot water not enough for 4 quick showers in an evening or morning. Tea/coffee glasses and cups not replenished or changed in a 7 night stay - otherwise rooms were cleaned well though.

music around the pool is too loud. repeatly asked for it to be turned down. it soon goes back up. again the bar music of a evening was on till late every nite. could hear it on the balcony the old apartments are very tired looking.

Nice Hotel on good location. Excellent vallue for money. Staff is friendly and are willing to help you with everything.. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the good animation.

The taxi driver already told us on the way there. At Costa Teguise there is always a lot of wind. Fortunately, the main pool is nicely sheltered. However, the play area for the children is not sufficiently sheltered. The people who put towels in the morning to claim beds are annoying. Unnecessary because there are enough beds, but the staff should take a little more action The breakfast was nice. But could use some more variety .

If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax served by very kind staff this hotel is an excellent choice. Nice and clean room, big terrace, perfect pool and good breakfast. Best beached of the island just a few steps away.

There are no words to describe how uncomfortable the beds are.

We were self catering but decided to try the breakfast at the beginning as it was just €9 each and was pleasantly surprised and decided to have breakfast on most days there, classic selection but was lovely consisting of hash browns, churros etc. The entertainment team were all absolutely wonderful, especially Beth and Tunde but really the whole team. Didn’t talk to reception a lot but they were always polite and respectful when I did. Plenty of sun beds by pool area. Room was a decent size, clean and modern. Couldn’t ask for a better location in Costa Teguise. Beach was quite literally across the road and one of the best on the island in my opinion.

No AC, wasn’t really a problem for us but may be during the summer months. Pool was advertised as heated but definitely did not feel it.

We had an excellent stay at Galeon Playa. The location is superb, very close to supermarkets, shops and many restaurants, and one road to cross before you get to the beach. The hotel did not seem over crowded, despite being there in the summer holiday season. We made use of the salt water pool, which was always clean, and plenty of sun loungers too. There is a small pool with a slide for babies / toddlers which seemed to be enjoyed by many (we are over the age of this now!) and a larger pool that I think was heated but we didn't use this one, it was much busier but still seemed to have plenty of room / sun loungers. The staff are excellent, and even though we didn't use the kids club as our daughter is 11 I can see that this is exceptional, so might be useful for those with younger kids. Yoga and stretching offered each morning too, and a good pool side cafe. We were bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was good, plenty of fresh fruit and bread, the roasted tomatoes were divine, and in general lots of choice, traditional english, fresh made eggs and pancakes, salads and dried fruits / nuts too. Big shout out to Alberto who ran the dining hall with impeccable attention to detail. We stayed in a 'non-refurbished' ie non sea facing room, one that faced the main pool, and this was brilliant, I'd rather have been here than on the other side of the complex. Our room was clean, and had everything we needed, sunny balcony too.

It's a minor point but the dining hall is very noisy, it's an acoustic amplifier! A few pictures on the walls would probably help quite a bit with this! It would be difficult to cater in the apartments as there is no cutlery provided or plates, only a microwave. our cups and glasses were not changed when our room was cleaned and that would have been a nice additional touch, but these are not big points and very easy to navigate round. On our final day here the salt water pool was a little grotty but they are cleaned regularly so I'm sure it would have been fine again by the next day.

Good location right next to beaches and a lovely prom/cycle path that runs the length of Costa Teguise. Parking nearby was free and we always found spaces. It was a good base in the middle of Lanzarote to explore all corners of the island. Our room was very spacious, with a terrace overlooking the pool, a large shower room and comfortable beds. We had half board and enjoyed not having to worry about catering for ourselves for a change. The breakfasts were very good and the dinners changed each night with a choice of dishes on the buffet. It is 'mass catering ' style food but plentiful and of a reasonable quality for the price. The waiters were very friendly.

The WiFi was patchy and came and went sometimes

took our 5 year old grandson away for the first time and wanted somewhere child friendly with good location to amenities, did not disappoint, he absolutely loved it and has asked if we can take him again! room was basic but more than adequate for our needs, sent a request a week before our stay asking for an extra bed in bedroom so we didn’t need to use the sofa bed and also pool view, responded same day and request met, ideal room location overlooking pool and play area all of the staff we met were amazing, very friendly and helpful, really child orientated beach with small coves across the road, bigger beach approx 10 mins walk away step out of the main entrance and bars, restaurants etc there plus an added bonus of a couple of small play areas on the front which he loved would not hesitate to book again and would recommend to others with small children, we went late in the season so some of the kids facilities eg kids clubs not available but he absolutely loved the kids disco each night at 845pm -9.15pm

We loved being able to use the small kitchenette to cook some of our meals. We loved our patio as well. The beds were nice and comfortable and the hotel had very nice quiet hours at a certain time at night, so we were never woken up by any rowdy people. The staff was very friendly and hard-working. Everything seemed very clean.

We had to wait and then work hard to get chairs at the pool, even though there were rules stating people could not hold or reserve chairs. This is our only minor complaint.

Was very happy with accommodation & location. Very clean & staff so helpful, will stay here again no hesitation. Pool is heated which is a huge bonus for an early morning swim.
