Great view directly at ocean "lagoon" beach. Just one step from beach and sea. (4 beaches nearby) Not crowded hotel. Friendly hotel staff. Heated pool with salt water. Hotel area and the nearest beach is sheltered from strong winds, so you can enjoy vacation even in windy Lanzarote :) Great breakfasts and good dinners.

Sometimes smell of hot water in shower was unpleasant.

Food was of a good standard. Lots of entertainment during the day for adults and children. Staff always cleaning and happy to help you. All in all, a very relaxing and peaceful experience. The beach is also close by which adds to the exceptional view. We thought it was a nice touch to be welcomed to the hotel by personal letter and a small token of gratitude for our stay.

The pool bar was mostly self service and didn’t have the selection of soft drinks you would expect like Coca Cola etc. If you wanted any hot snacks like burgers etc then you had to wait till 3pm. (outside) The AC in the room was switched off by the hotel during the night till the early morning so it became hot and stuffy and made it hard to sleep.

Very nice place, excellent facilities, the main hall was full with climbing plants which was a nice touch. The main hall had a bar with a slow rotating sitting area facing a pond where the main stage is/ top for night shows. The shows were excellent in quality as well. They also had 2 pools one of them was warm water which was good for february.

Location is good if you look for tranquility- there are a few restaturants open, but can be too quiet in winter.

The meal are not the best although there is a good selection but not always the warmest the thing that annoyed me the most was when they had paella some guests were only taking the prawns from the paella so if you were looking forward to seafood paella then you were missing the prawns that should have been served with it maybe they should have someone to serve it so shared equally and the soup was always tepid

Absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. Perfect location, direct access to a lovely beach. Heated 29c outdoor pool. Pool area with lots of seating areas to relax. Good variety of food every night. Excellent breakfast options. Rooms modern and spacious with beautiful sea view. Comfortable beds and great walk in shower. Had everything we needed in it. Close to shops and restaurants, all within a few minutes walk. Staff lovely and helpful when needed. Was there for a 70th birthday and the hotel provided a complimentary bottle of champagne in the room as a surprise. This was a lovely gesture.

Different entertainment was on every night which was great but rooms that were close to the bar and stage area could hear this. Was very loud most nights. Thankfully we booked 3 rooms on the 4th floor so not as noisy as the lower floors. 2 rooms were far enough away to not hear it too much but one of our rooms was abit noisy. It did not affect me too much but some may find it annoying when trying to sleep. So would recommend higher floors away from bar and stage.

This will be our 5th visit to the hotel we like the facilities and the heated pool also a very easy check in an check out if your catching a taxi or bus they are located outside also a chemist outside and 24 hr Doctor.

We have been there 5 times and we no what to expect we mainly go there for the hotels location very central and near all the entertainment and small beach on the downside the food in the restaurant in the evening is very hit and miss we had to eat out 3 times on our ten night stay there just wasn't much to make a meal out off not very good cuts off meat very fatty will definitely go again but not for the evening meal which should be the highlight off the day.

Location was excellent & very high standard of cleanliness. Staff extremely friendly & always on hand if required. Three pool one heated the middle one not & children’s pool. All inclusive large variety of food you’d struggle to go hungry & drinks available Amstel beer,Gordon’s gin actually most drink branded.

I wouldn’t quite say I didn’t like but I would like to suggest two things to the hotel that I believe would improve guest experience. 1. It’s extremely windy around the pool area & I know they can’t “control the wind”but I do feel if they removed the perimeter railings & replaced with glass it would greatly reduce the gust swirling around this area. On one day separately two sunbeds were blown into the children’s pool thankfully no kids in it. Also parasols were blown over multiple times so you could never truly relax as fear of being hit with some object. 2. Seating area on outside patio white table & chairs with leather cushions look very outdated & although cleaned daily just don’t look good. Investment in new more modern patio furniture would greatly enhance this area.

Room as in the photos. Very nice view from my room that was clean and comfortable. Varied food for the most part. Evening entertainment. The hotel is very quiet due to its clientele and the lack of entertainment offered during the day (at least in January). One swimming pool is heated.

The receptionist neglected me a little when I arrived, otherwise the staff was friendly. The hotel is a little out of the way, few buses pass, if you have difficulty walking and want to explore a little, you’d better take a taxi or rent a car. Desserts in the evening are repetitive and please change the meat for the goulash soup. Not much "life" in the hotel, in January, it looked more like a Club Med for (very) seniors; I, personally, was a little bored because of that.

Third time my Wife and I have stayed at the Grand Teguise Playa. Not been to Lanzarote for a few years mind but, when we decided on Lanzarote, it was an easy choice for Hotel. This Hotel is perfect for a relaxing break, the location is fantastic, the food is delicious and the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are attentive and really happy to help. Oh, the entertainment is pretty good too, with different acts every night of our weeks stay.

Only thing that could be better is the seats in the bar area are needing re upholstered or changed. Not a big issue, but some of them it feels like you're sitting more on the frame than the pad. Again not a massive issue, and I only noticed it when my Wife pointed it out.
