Checked in at the hotel and lady from hotel walked us to the apartment which was about 350metres away (2 min walk) both hotel and apartment in the old town. You could use the hotel facilities also, if you wanted breakfast, you just let them know and they had a lovely bar, snug etc. Lovely apartment, well equipped kitchen. Nice stylish bathroom, dog friendly, had bowls left for dog. lovely courtyard at rear which housed the washing machine/tumble dryer. Excellent location, right in the middle of the old town and just up the street was the old town square and castle. The underground car park we used as the hotel car park was booked was about 10min flat walk through town. Handy smart tv which had prime and Netflix to sign in to. Supermarkets within 2 minutes walk and bars/restaurants.

Didn't realise that the bathroom was on the ground floor, as upstairs it is just a mezzanine bedroom, so at night if you needed the bathroom it was a bit hairy going down the stairs, but that is just personal preference to have bathroom upstairs.

Stunning building, beautifully, sympathetically and tastefully decorated with eclectic furniture and antiques throughout.

Would be lovely to utilise the foyer/bar space and maybe have some musicians or music at night. The bar area is so incredibly beautiful and could be incredibly atmospheric but dead. Nobody at all having a drink during the time we were there so really wasted in my opinion. Most people just slept there which as beautiful as the rooms are is a shame. Tea and coffee facilities are poor. Advertised as coffee maker in room but just a kettle with packets of Nescafé. No milk or milk substitute. Nice to have a coffee upon wakening.

Often boutique hotels are expensive and not very inspiring. this hotel is an exception. All areas are a revelation of style and make the stay a real joy. Admittedly the hotel was quite in January, but we felt a real sense of peace in the hotel. The staff were always interested in what we were doing and helpful.

I think the breakfast could offer a little more sustenance. The Chimney in my apartment leaked smoked into the room when lit and I wasn't able to wash my clothes one evening, as this was being used by the neighbour, which I thought was a bit naughty.

Lovely to have an individually designed room. We had the Japanese mini suite - a large room with sofa and TV. Also a sunken bath (which was quite difficult to get out of!) The patio area is gorgeous as as is the lounge area. It's a beautiful building and had a great vibe.

There was only one key for the room and as my husband went out cycling and we had to leave the key at reception it was sometimes difficult to retrieve the key when there was a queue of people. It held us up a couple of times. Would have liked cotton bed linen rather than polycotton! Would have liked a duvet rather than old fashioned heavy blankets - had no idea hotels still used those!

The property is stunning. There are so many interesting pieces of art and collectibles around. The courtyard is a lovely peaceful area for breakfast and drinks in the evening. The friendliness and service from the staff is exceptional. We stayed in the apartment/loft accommodation which is separate and down the street from the hotel. We still had breakfast in the hotel and had access to all the hotel’s services. We loved the accommodation, very tastefully decorated, great facilities, clean and comfortable. There were so many bars, restaurants and cafes close to the hotel and we had some good quality meals.

No criticisms.

A beautiful old hotel in the heart of old Denia and within walking distance of historical sites, restaurants etc. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, all comfortably and uniquely furnished. Lovely internal courtyard both for breakfast and for relaxing at other times. Staff attentive and friendly.

Everything was lovely. The safe in the room wasn't big enough for a laptop - but security wasn't an issue in practice.

What was not to love!? The beautiful courtyard out the back with the yellow bellied turtles and bags of character. The addition of live music on one of the nights which accompanied my getting ready beautifully. The bed was comfortable, the room was cool and well laid out with a good sized wardrobe and lovely tiled bathroom. The staff were probably the highlight however, I am known to stay out a little late sometimes and the reception staff would greet you with a smile… no matter how ungodly the hour (Sorry!!). The team couldn’t do enough to ensure a perfect stay and I will no doubt return to this hotel on my next visit to the area.

Lovely old world quirky hotel with lovely art. Perfect location near the castle and still in centre. The air conditioning stopped working but when we informed management they sorted it. Our original booked room wasn't ready when we arrived in the evening but we were given another room and it was fine. The room was spacious and clean. There's a lovely courtyard and bar. . 24 hour staff available. We'd be happy to stay again.

No complaints

We stayed in the apartment, which was a short walk from the hotel itself. It was lovely and had a fab little courtyard to chill out in during the heat of midday. The shower was excellent, great air-con kept the room cool, and with the separate bedroom loft and a living room kitchen, it was a home away from home. The included breakfast was a lovely touch, we just had to walk down to the hotel and then sit I the big courtyard there to enjoy fresh fruit, croissants, orange juice, coffee and some toasted bread rolls with various condiments. We were delighted with the character of the place and it was the icing on the cake of our little getaway to Spain

Gorgeous antique Spanish quarters turned into a beautiful hotel, plenty of character and comfort. The patio is spectacular, established vegetation and birds singing will put a smile on one’s face. We stayed with our dog and the location was fine for walks and business. Staff were excellent, professional, super approachable and very helpful. We were booked for one night and decided to stay for 2 more days!! Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Make sure you ask for a shower if you have troubles using a bathtub.
