-the bar in the hotel closed at 22.30 on Saturday night.. -the super rooftop pool and area is only open from 11.00..which was really a pity. -there were only a few tables (4)to sit outside, mostly occupied by the people who smoke. So rooftop closed, tables outside occupied. So for the people who love to be outside where to go but take the bus or go walking.

Closed external parking was free. Tickets for the bus were sold at reception. Receptionists were very helpful explaining how to reach the centre, what buses to take, etc. Hotel was not full and we were offered a superior room for free (not unusual when reserving with Booking). Price was reasonable. You can walk to the sea in less than 30 minutes and then to the old center walking by the sea. Also two buses stop at the door of the hotel and you have three buses in 30 minutes. Bus system is very good and there is a girl driver in bus nr. 45 who welcomes you to her bus with a smile and a word of welcome.

The bathroom had a sliding door that did not offer full privacy, but it was bearable. When you get there you find yourself in the midst of a residential area without shops in sight... but don't be upset: if go down the street, then left, in five minutes you reach a small shopping area with a supermarket and a restaurant nearby.

Breakfast excellent and good value for money. Good range of hot food - scrambled egg, bacon, chorizo and tortilla - cold meats and cheese, breads, pastries and fresh fruit. Freshly sq orange juice. Cereals and yogurt. Pinxtos available throughout the day and larger meals in the evening. Bar staff very friendly. Rooftop pool and terrace were a godsend. Toilets on rooftop pool were the best and cleanest I’ve ever seen! At 5pm a bar opens there. Bus stop right outside the hotel with regular buses to beach and into town.

A blackout blind in our bedroom would have helped because there was a street light on outside our window all night.

I recently enjoyed a three-night stay at Hotel Bed4U San Sebastián, and I must say it was a delightful experience. Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic. It's just a short 5-minute car drive away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for anyone looking to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful San Sebastián coastline. While my room didn't have a fridge, which would have been a nice addition for keeping drinks and snacks cool, it didn't take away from the overall positive experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and they provided solutions for storing items that needed refrigeration. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's attention to cleanliness and hygiene was reassuring, especially given the circumstances. Throughout my stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, making me feel valued as a guest. Their friendly and helpful attitude was a highlight of my stay. In summary, my stay at Hotel Bed4U San Sebastián was enjoyable, primarily due to its convenient location and the excellent service provided by the staff. While a room fridge would have been a nice addition, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place to stay in San Sebastián.

Missing fridge in the room, I didn't realize that not all rooms come equipped with a fridge. Other than that small hiccup everything else was perfect.

Clean and efficiently run hotel, with excellent and helpful staff. Small but decent gym available, and the pool is very nice. Breakfast great and good value. Good connections to the beach/town (10-15 mins 2 euro bus or 10 euro taxi/25 min walk). Bus stop right by the hotel with regular buses. You can drink in the bar and simply hop on the bus when it turns up. The bar / restaurant is great, and really good value - locals use it which gives the whole place a nice vibe and makes you feel a little part of suburban San Sebastian community life even if for a night or so. San Sebastian with its food, beaches and surfing is a great place to go - and this hotel is a perfect place to stay with a family of older teenagers.

This hotel was lovely we were surprised that it is only rated 3 stars! The rooms were spacious, modern, spotless and the black out curtains and blinds worked too well resulting in a couple of lie in's! One of the reasons I chose the hotel was because it had free parking but this meant it was located outside the city centre but the number 19 bus stopped right outside and took about 10-15 mins to reach the centre of town. There is a nice pool on the roof and the staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if I return to San Sebastian.

The location is very conveniently situated. We walked and took the bus to and from the old town, beach and other attractions. The staff was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere of the hotel was great. We enjoyed seeing locals come in the mornings for breakfast or for drinks after work. The coffee, breakfast and wine were nice. I would love to come back.

The room did not have an iron. They did offered one upon request but the one provided was not clean.

The reception staff were excellent and knowledgeable rooms were comfortable and clean pool was great overall excellent

There was 1 bar staff member that was rude unfriendly and unprofessional she had an issue with serving us (maybe because we are Australian) turned her back on us no table service for us however other had the table service. The lady mentioned has long fair hair and works the day shift she made us feel so uncomfortable we would not go there when she was there even breakfast. All other bar staff were exceptional and friendly.

Almost everything. To list a few things, the check in was easy and with very helpful staff. The room was exceptional, everything was new and of a very high standard. You wanted for nothing and could ask reception for anything else you needed. The bar was reasonably priced too. Whilst we didn’t use it, the hotel had a lovely rooftop pool. Everywhere there were really nice smells I’m guessing sent through the air conditioning. All the staff were extremely friendly and courteous, not something you always find. The beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome.

The fact we couldn’t control the room temperature below about 25 degrees. We like a cool room and when we asked reception they did say we could have temperature we liked which was good but we didn’t then get the 22 degrees we asked for. As a result my wife struggled to sleep. It is annoying when you pay a lot of money for a room and you can’t fully control the temperature yourself. We have found this in many hotels in Spain. The only other minor niggle would be clearer instructions needed for the car park. You pull up to the barrier which doesn’t go up. When you press for a ticket nothing happens and there are no clear instructions on what to do. Oh, and these days, a smart TV with apps for Prime etc would be appreciated.

Brand new, very clean. Comfortable beds. Bus stop right outside. Staff were very helpful giving us tips on where to go to eat etc. Great coffee and breakfast. Nice big space to chill out downstairs

Rooms could do with a kettle, tea and coffee.
