when I booked I was aware it was a no frills hotel. I didn’t however expect to the charm of the place. it was basic a room with a bed but it counted that there was a lovely supply of the hand and body wash. I was serviced daily, clean towels daily. The hotel itself was extremely lovely in decor, it had Spanish charm. All the staff from day one were helpful, pleasant and I was sad to leave as I was treated with a jolly smile and a chat daily. The hotel had easy access to the Italian restaurant which I made the effort to try various dishes to evaluate whether it was a one off or consistent good food. I was served always very quickly, the chef very pleasant and the quality good. The hotel was very clean and the decor very warm, I’ve stayed at various beautiful and luxury hotels and this is the first time one has stuck out purely because I think I was looking for a fault and could not find it. There are a couple of things that really stick out. it would be great to have had a kettle and cups in the room. Making myself a hit drink would have been good. There was a vending machine in the lobby well stocked but a hot drinks of no kettle in room would have been good.

You should not base your decision of booking this place based on my review. I booked it for friends of the family, hence I don't have an personal experience from the placce that I can share here, but they thought it was okay.

The people I booked it for complained that it wasn't to the same standard as the previous place I had booked for them. But what do you expect, before this place they stayed in a 4 start hotel with breakfast included.

Dear, We liked to stay there. It is close to Estepona center and Marbella center. The beach is close too and there are a couple of restaurants very close, One of them is under the hotel.

There were two small problems with one of the rooms. Our bed smelled like smoke — I have no idea why — and our room faced the main road, so it was noisy. I suggest booking a yard-facing room.

We were visiting family who were staying in a near by resort. We needed somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep which is exactly what this place provided. Air con was good, clean with shampoo and body wash provided. Great shower also. We will be back staff were lovely and room Cleaned every day. No fuss or frills ideal for somewhere to sleep.

Pillows could be better as they were really flat.

No breakfast available, but not a problem. Excellent friendly welcome by the receptionist and thr hotel was suitable for my stay.

Next to the highway...nothing in the direct neighbourhood (walking distance)

We weren't expecting much as it's a 2 star but it surpassed our expectations. The young lady who came to check us in was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable and toiletries were provided which was a nice bonus. I had the best night's sleep in months. Checkout by 12 was brilliant, it made for a nice relaxed morning. Breakfast was extra but it was good and the coffee was fabulous, best I've had in a long time. I have ocd and nothing in the hotel triggered anything off which is a rarity. I loved the quirky decor, the motorbikes in reception are fab! We've already recommended it to several family members.

Someone had been smoking in the hallway outside our room despite there being No Smoking signs. I'm asthmatic so it didn't do me any good.

Location was perfect for my work between Manilva and Marbella - we had a room to the side of the property so road noise was minimal. Parking was easy and free which is a huge bonus

glass bathroom shelf was tilting so not usable and the towel rail came off, but very small issues and in no way diminished the qualities of the hotel

location for us was great right next to main road for an overnight stay close by car to charming old city center of Estepona

Very helpful host. Went out of her way in phoning around asking if bars were showing football.

Would have liked a kettle and a few complimentary teabags coffee etc.
