Having breakfast on the hotel's terrace as the valley wakes up with the scent of orange blossoms...fantastic. Resting in a comfortable hotel bed after a long day of exploring... You are one of the luckiest people in the world if you ever see Fornalutx. Perfect. Please consider this review as you read the following.
Nobody. Nobody from any corner of the world and from any culture wants to take the morning sh@t in front of his/her partner. Transparent glass sliding door on the bathroom - with the toilet heading to the bed - in a 15 sqm room: the victory of design over common sense. Please, please consider changing the glass on the door.

The hotel is beautifully located in the charming village of Fornalutx. From the rooms and terrace, you can watch the sun dancing in the mountains. The rooms are clean and minimalistic, with quiet new bathroom. You wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread. The breakfast is fantastic, with many options to choose from, such as different types of ham and cheese, goat cheese, sweet choices like croissants or pain au chocolat, jams, nuts, honey, fruits, muesli, yogurt, or even fresh homemade avocado paste and hummus. The warm options change daily, and you can taste a yummy frittata, scrambled eggs and bacon, boiled or sunny-side-up eggs. Starting each day enjoying the delicious breakfast at the terrace was amazing. It's definitely worth it to come and enjoy it as a couple. There is a swimming pool with a bit cold water, but it's always clean (we stayed in September). The rooms are cleaned daily, and the towels are changed daily. We had a wonderful time and could see that all the other guests enjoyed it too. It was calm and relaxing, with super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is nicely placed, so you feel separated from the noise of the city, but still, you are 2 minutes away from the main square ( I recommend amazing homemade ice cream from Pruna Gelateria). Overall, I recommend this gem of a hotel and hopefully come back in the following years. PS. While we stayed at the hotel, there was a neighbor cat called BIMBA enjoying the sun and company of the guests. Her friendly aura made our stay so much more special!

Hotel is located in small village, for nice evening walks, drinks or foods, but for the entertnaiment you have to have a car and drive elsewhere. Hotel overall was very nice and quiet, located in nice street, with amazing view on hills from the pool area. Our room was large, just like our bathroom!
There is nobody waiting on reception after 2-3pm, you have to wait until morning or call. The staff didnt seem super friendly but we solved everything we needed. There isnt much to do in the town - so make sure you have a car and can drive to beach or different town for entertainment.

Delightful little Hotel, set in a beautiful small village. The room we had faced the street which was quiet and was spacious and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. At the rear of the hotel is the pool and outdoor dining area and patio. The views of the mountains and the valley below are stunning. The dining area is set in a cavenous cool room. The hotel was converted from the convent but many of the original features been retained giving it a very rustic charm. The breakfast was wonderful with a wide range of foods. You could eat indoors or on the patio which was a lovely start to the day. There are numerous walks you can do within easy reach. Overall we absolutely loved the hotel and look forward to coming back again. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the middle of June. apologies to the hotel for this very late review.! Lissi and Andy

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The included breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I especially loved the concept of the honesty bar – it was such a convenient and pleasant addition. Another highlight was the fully automatic coffee machine that whipped up everything from espresso to cappuccino, perfect for coffee lovers. The outdoor patio and pool area were lovely, providing a great spot to relax. My room, with its stunning mountain view, was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Plus, the hotel's location in town was ideal, making it easy to explore the area.
Our room had a bathroom with a mix of clear and frosted glass walls, which didn't offer much privacy for showering or using the toilet. We also noticed there was no door card to decline room cleaning. The air conditioning was quite weak and took a long time to cool the room, which was a bit of an issue since the cleaning service would turn it off each time. Coming back to a hot room after a day in the extreme heat wasn't ideal. Additionally, the bed only had one pillow per person, whereas most hotels we've stayed at usually provide 2-3 pillows per person.

Its a beautiful setting and the hotel is very peaceful and quiet in the centre of town. Fornalutx is a beautiful village and the hotel had a very well stocked bar which you could help yourself to and write down what you drank, this was a nice idea and much welcomed after a long drive . The staff were very kind and helpful.
Parking was a little tricky as the nearest parking is quite small and hard to park but generally everything was great .

I fell in love with Fornalutx Petit Hotel. Its tranquil design and beautiful mountain views make it the perfect stay for those looking to get away from the crowds of Palma. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. There are plenty of options for vegetarian/vegans. Take a dip in the pool overlooking the treelined mountains after touring the ancient UNESCO town of Fornalux. Thank you, Sophie for the unforgettable experience!
Nothing. Everything was exceptional.

I absolutely adored this hotel. It’s a beautiful, unusual, dreamy place, elegant and comfortable and just wonderful in every way. Fornalutx itself is such a special place, an oasis of history and narrow walkways, excellent restaurants and cyclists seeking a break, all nestled in among stunning mountains and nature under a cloudless cerulean sky. The hotel is a converted convent, airy and spacious, quiet and comfortable. Our room had a lovely deck overlooking the mountains, a perfect bed with excellent pillows, and an air blowing system that sounded like the rushing sea. There’s a diverse breakfast buffet in the morning, an “honor bar” from which you can help yourself to beer, wine, drinks, or snacks at any time of the day or night, and a friendly and accommodating staff. Truly, everything was absolutely perfect here. I absolutely would (and hope to!) come back here someday.
The pool was too cold to swim, but that’s because we were here in May and it’s not heated (and I prefer a very warm pool). The sauna appeared to be closed, but I think that’s because we didn’t go down there until late at night. I’m sure if we had asked, they would’ve found a way to turn it on for us.

Large room, shower was great, loved breakfast on patio outside. Staff were lovely Good advice given on parking Very close to village square and shop, cafes, restaurants. Good walks nearby including to Soller.
Memory foam mattress toppers make for a hot squishy bed Sink and mirror in room for someone tall, I’m 5’2 and could hardly see in mirror at sink. Swimming pool was in shade and very cold and net across end unlike pictures.

Very nice accommodation and rooms in a very nice area. Beautiful location with beautiful views in a prime spot in the village with great restaurants and little shops. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The bedroom was really spacious with high ceilings and a nice clean modern bathroom. Was also so nice having ice cold water and sparkling water available all day.
The stay was amazing and we do highly rate, the only downside was that there was a lot of building work going on during our stay which meant that we were woken every morning with loud drilling noises right outside our door and then when we wanted to relax around the pool there was a lot of banging and drilling and cutting so not very relaxing. I think it would have been nice if we had been told in advance or been given compensation for this during the stay as it was not as relaxing as we hoped for a holiday due to the very early morning disturbances which actually gave us headaches from the vibrations and level of noise.
