We stayed at Casa Margarita just for the one night , but it was an absolutely delightful stay. The guesthouse was very authentic and Spanish, and the lady of the property couldn't do enough for us, so lovely and very helpful . Nice spacious room with ensuite shower room . No air-conditioning, obviously, but a brilliant big fan that kept us nice and cool. The bed was very comfy. Great good value for money and in such a brilliant location to the square and the tram.10/ 10 😁😁😁 Soller is a wonderful town and so worth a visit whilst in Mallorca.

Nothing negative to report.

What a great place to stay. The location is fabulous in Soller. The building and furnishings have authentic old Mallorcan charm. You actually feel like you're in Spain. It was great to have a sink in the room too. Nice little touches, plates, cutlery, kettle and cups in the room and a decent fan. Margarita was lovely. Helpful and kind. Great information in reception area, and there were left books, toiletries, and brew stuff for guests to make use of.

There was nothing I disliked. Please be aware that bedding, towels etc isn't fancy or matching. If this bothers you, then don't book it. Also, there are quite a few stairs so not for the inactive.

- very warm welcoming - super fast internet ! - the place is spotless - very good price for a twin room (I only paid £35 for the night at the end of June 24) - good shower pressure - spare towel - well located and easy to find - there is a trolley in the room with a kettle, cups, plates and cutlery

- a fan is in the room but having a real aircon system in place would have been appreciated - a mini fridge would have been nice as well - stairs to get to the room might prove to be a challenge for olderly customers

Great location situated behind the church of Sant Bartomeu . A minute to restaurants, bars, and Plaça de sa Constitució. I was doing the GR221 trek, and it was ideal for me. I was met by Margarita, who was friendly and informative. The room was large with old-fashioned wooden furniture. The shower was powerful, and the towel was huge. The price was £60 for a single traveller, but it was a large bed.

It was a little noisy outside, and as it's an old, listed property, there are no double glazed windows.

Margarita was very very helpful, very welcoming and keeps Casa Margarita immaculately clean. It's a hotel with real character and charm, still using what appears to be traditional dark, polished wood furniture. The location is fantastic, less than 5 minutes stroll from the centre and just round the corner from an extremely good patisserie, bread and sandwich shop. We had room 7, with the huge additional bonus of a balcony that was more or less the same area as the room and with direct views of the mountain and morning sunshine.

The rooms are a little on the small side (though that hardly matters in a location where you'll be wanting to spend most of your time out of doors). Perhaps more significantly, the mattress and springs (in our room at least) were definitely approaching the end of their useful lives. A bit saggy and probably in need of replacement in the not too distant future. They're the only reason not to rate the hotel as 'excellent'.

We were backpacking on the GR221, so walked into and out of town. Perfect location for exploring the town of Soller. The host was very nice and allowed us access to the terrace. The hot water was very good. It was nice to have a sink in the room. This is a family-run establishment, and we felt very much at home here. The beds were so comfy that it was hard to get up in the morning!

It was a little awkward to have the toilet and shower in the hall, which was not far from the stairs to the front door, but that's what we had paid for, and there were no problems.

Our room was at the top of the building with a small shared terrace, it was a lovely way to start the day being able to have breakfast there. the neighborhood is rather calm so no issues with noise. We were traveling with car, fortunately there is a parking lot closeby where we didn't have much trouble finding an space, just you need to be aware that from 9 til13 and from 17 til 20, you need to pay and you cannot pay for more than 2 hours at a time.

The mattress was bigger than the frame of the bed so it was bent in the middle, not a huge problem though the bed was comfortable.

We reserved it as non cancellable, as we are low-budget travelers, and this place seemed good for value with a great location. Unfortunately our flight got canceled and we could not enjoy our trip + losing all the money we spent on the other places. Casa Margarita was kind enough not to charge us with a fee for this time. We are very grateful and we will surely take this place in the future. (The reason why we couldn't take this place for the whole stay was because all rooms were full except for one night that we took in the end) Thank you and wish you great success!

It’s like staying at your grandmas house It hasn’t changed since the first time I stayed there in 1995, just less religious icons. It’s rooms in a family home, the same family for 3 generations (or more?) the sheets are old as are the towels, but clean and the antique beds are lovely, if a little creaky. Two rooms have a shared terrace overlooking terracotta roofs towards the mountains. If you ask you can borrow the hair dryer, there’s a fan and Margarita the 3rd, will give you tea or coffee sachets, there were plates and cutlery so we could have a lovely breakfast of orange ensaimada and peaches on the roof terrace. There is no luxury but a lot of history and a very warm welcome at a bargain price

The water in the shower is a little dodgy but we are on holiday so not in a huge hurry

Margarita is so friendly and helpful and her guest house is in a fantastic location in Soller, next to the square and the restaurants and the tram/train station. Fantastic value for money for a traditional authentic stay 😀
