This hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. It is very well run. There was valet parking. Our bags were brought up to the room immediately. Because it was my birthday they gave us a bottle of free Cava and a slice of chocolate cake. 🎂 Reception staff were very helpful in explaining how we can get a discount off any future bookings. The room was cleaned while we were out. None of this nonsense of arriving back and it still not cleaned. We could control the heating and the air conditioning ourselves. The room was soundproofed and we didn’t hear a sound during our whole stay. The bar offer a free tapas which was delicious with every drink. There is a lovely cafe next door where you can have coffee and delicious cakes. Corte Ingles is directly across the road. The pedestrian shopping area is 5 minutes walk away. What’s not to like ❤️

There wasn’t anything. Everything was perfect.

- Beds extremely comfortable and big. - Breakfast was great value for money. - Location couldn’t have been better. - Luggage storage on the last day - also check out was at 12pm which I thought was generous compared to places we have stayed before. - We were kindly upgraded upon our visit to a room with a balcony, which was lovely as we did use it every day to sit and have our morning coffees.

- Our shower leaked for the first 4 days, I did tell the reception but they brushed it off, by the 5th day I think the cleaner had enough of all the towels we had to use to sort it and she had resolved the issue for us, so it was fine after that just wish it happened a bit sooner! - Sometimes it felt slightly under staffed but hey ho, where isn’t these days. - Feel as thought due to the size of the pool and lack of sun loungers it should maybe be an adults only hotel?? Just a person opinion however!

Clean, fresh smelling, all the staff were super nice and helpful. The terrace was great.

The price we paid for didn’t reflect the type of room we wanted. I asked for a double bed and they put 2 singles together. Was our 10th wedding anniversary. Also upon checkout looks as though someone had used our room number to order drinks at the terrace bar which is quite bad, not Barcelo’s fault but if this is a regular occurrence it needs to be looked into. Also the breakfast menu could have done with some Salmon. It had everything else but this. Their isn’t enough sun loungers at the top on the terrace, and are always occupied for people for a long time. So you are stuck with finding a spot on the terrace to sunbathe with deck chairs that recline.

Stayed 5 days. Superb hotel from the moment you walk through the doors Central and within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants and shops. Very comfortable with a brilliant roof top terrace and bar which offers breath taking panoramic views of the snow clad Sierra Nevada mountains. I have saved the best for last! The breakfast is definitely in our top 5 of all time and is the first in Europe to make that accolade. You simply have to experience it for yourself to understand!!

Struggling and only for balance but it takes a while to work out the lifts to the specific areas but thats all the more reason to stay longer

Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices, freshly made, regularly topped up. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to the centre, the cathedral, the Albaisin and Sacromonte. Just a short taxi ride to the Alhambra. There is a taxi rank opposite so easy to get a taxi when needed. Yea, coffee and a kettle in the room which is great. The view from the rooftop is fabulous, and great to relax with a cocktail at the end of the day or sunbathe and swim during the day.

The bathroom didn’t have a door! Not a problem if you are a couple but strange if you are sharing a room with someone you don’t know very well… I think my teenage daughter would have found that a problem! But all toiletries provided and all very clean.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff ready to check me in. The design and decor of the hotel is stunning and their cleaning is to a very high standard! The breakfast was fabulous especially the tailor made omelettes- They were absolutely delicious. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was very stylish and the bed had the best mattress I’ve slept on for years! The swimming pool area was small with a few loungers but I always got a space as I used to in the morning and some morning’s staff gave out little tubs of fruit by the pool which was very refreshing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

There is a rooftop bar near the swimming pool however it opens much later than the swimming pool hours and you are unable to buy food from there. It must be preordered. I found it quite annoying that you have to go downstairs to the lobby to order a drink and bring it up to the bar area.

We had an amazing time in Granada and a lot was because we were staying in this beautiful hotel. When we arrived with our car they offered valet service so we wouldn’t have to park it. The receptionist upgraded our room and gave us lots of information about the town, sightseeing, restaurants etc. The pool and terrace was beautiful with a great view overlooking the city. The breakfast was 10/10 with lots of options! So overall beautiful hotel, great food and lovely staff. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

The room was fabulous and very luxurious. It was very spacious and had a huge comfortable bed and the separate bathroom area was great. The hotel was close to where we wanted to explore.

I booked a 'Alhambra view' room, but to be honest, our main view was of the shopping centre across the road. The Alhambra was way off in the distance. It was noisy to sleep with the balcony door open (traffic noice). The pool area seems to be accessible to non-residents. The pool is tiny and the whole area was over-crowded and populated by a boozy, party crowd. We only went there once and had no desire to return even though it was hot.

The hotel had a comfortable bed, clean room, and good bathroom facilities. The terrace had nice views, and room cleaning was offered all morning. The hotel was well decorated, with friendly staff and a well-lit lobby and hallways that had character. The gym had good amenities, a great view, and filtered water, with controlled access for the pool and gym exclusively for hotel guests. Free upgrade to a superior bed on arrival.

Guests frequently reserved sun beds with towels without using them or opted to use them completely in the shade (putting parasols up) instead of terrace seating. I recommend a tokened booking system with time slots for fairer access to the limited sun loungers. Additionally, the pool remained uncomfortably cold all day despite sunlight.

I really liked this property. It was a bit tricky to get to on a motorbike but once in the building it was worth it. The entrance was striking with its loured tiles on each pilar. Reception was so easy and informative. We were in room 610. It was perfect for us. The soft close doors were a bonus as was the whole quietness of the room. We knew there were other guests on our floor near our room but I would say it was one of the quietest rooms we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. You could tell that the thought had been put in on the refurb of this hotel. There was coffee making facilities which was very much appreciated. There was a fridge in the room well stocked (even though we never use the mini bar) and there was a lovely big TV. The air conditioning was really good & easy to use. We had a small view of the city out of our window which we could also open and close. Really nice feature. We loved staying at this hotel for 3 nights. It is perfectly located for the buzz of the city of Granada. The view from the rooftop bar was amazing. Didn’t use the pool as it was quite small but it did look clean. We would definitely stay at this hotel again & have already looked at their other properties to start planning another trip away.

Absolutely nothing
