The staff was very personable and friendly. The receptionist really took her time with recommendations and I'd like to particularly mention the lady working at breakfast - very polite, helpful and quick. At the end, a young man walked us to our car so that our way into the garage would be easier. It's small gestures like this which make one feel welcome. The wishing tree is a sweet extra in a beautiful historical house in a phantastic location right in the old Jewish quarter and within easy walking from the alhambra and the Albaicín. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an enormous bath tub with whirlpool function. Will definitely stay there again when in Granada.

The seating arrangement in thr breakfast room feels a little bit weird, everybody on a long table with little privacy. Otherwise, breakfast was very good.

The location couldn’t be better, it’s a few minutes from excellent restaurants and areas of the city for shopping, having coffee and/or sampling some of the evening activities like the light show in the square. The room was fabulous and we were offered a free upgrade and the bed was enormous and spotless clean and serviced everyday. We didn’t have breakfast so unfortunately I can’t comment.

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like. The staff were particular attentive and went out of their way to help and assist you. Excellent.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly & helpful. They were very accommodating with moving my Mom to an accessible room. It’s a unique hotel to stay at - like visiting a bit of history.

Finding the hotel was a challenge-a sign on the outside facing the street would be helpful. Be sure to let them know if you have mobility limitations. The upstairs rooms have a couple steps to go into the room, and the bathroom has two steps to go down into it. And the tub is also sunken down a step. We were there during a warm week in April and it was a hot in the room with no ventilation. A fan helped.

The location could not be improved upon, just around the corner from Plaza Isobel la Catolica. The bus hub is a few minutes walk as are the shops and the cathedral. The staff were helpful and friendly and very well informed. The room was clean, quiet and well equipped, all the rooms are off a pleasant covered courtyard. There is a small library with access to a computer with free tea and coffee available from 16:00 - 22:00. The excellent breakfast is served in a medieval basement crypt.

I don't think there was anything not to like.

The staff were amazing and helpful. They made excellent recommendations on restaurants and things to do. One restaurant they recommended Minagua, was the best restaurant I had dinner at in Spain. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but it was offerred. They had a library and tea room, which was nice. There were no other amenities, but that was fine with me. It's located right in the middle of everything, so it was an easy walk to most places, though I took a taxi to the Alhambra, but that was because of the heat. Because it is in the middle of everything, it did get a little noisy, but not too bad.

It was a little noisy because it was located in the middle of everything. The recycling truck in the morning was pretty loud, but not overbearing. There were a lot of steps. One has to step into the hotel, and one has to walk up a couple of steps to get into their room. None of these issues were hassles.

Two night stay in a Double Room Upper Floor. Set in an old historic building the hotel has a lovely ambience and character about it and the staff were very friendly and super helpful. The room was nicely furnished but needed better lighting given that the only natural light was through a window with a very restricted view onto a narrow passage. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as we preferred to explore the local area but the breakfast room had lots of character set in the old cellar.... albeit with no natural light. Directions (provided by the hotel) for getting to the hotel through the historic part of Granada were excellent and on arrival they then provided directions to a nearby underground secure car park where they have spaces allocated. Note - although the car parking spaces where generous in size the drive to the car park and down 3 levels to the parking bays does need great care as it is very narrow!

There was no tea or coffee facilities provided in the bedroom which meant a trip down to the breakfast area if you need early caffeine....! There was, however, complimentary tea and coffee provided in the library (off the lobby) between 16:00 and 22:30

The location was perfect for us, in walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do and see but tucked away on a small plaza. The hotel itself was beautiful and serene, a comfortable and lovely restoration of a historic building. We loved our room. The staff were friendly and attentive.

There were very loud partygoers late into the night somewhere near the hotel on our last night there, a Friday. This not the hotel’s fault but they should be aware.

Where to start? The staff that greets you are so kind and welcoming. They are on staff at all times and ready to help. The lobby is spacious with places to rest. Off to the side is a small study with couches, books, a computer, and tea and coffee. This was where I stopped after walking around on some chilly evenings. The room is a perfect size for me as a solo traveler or would be fine for a couple. It's not huge but you're not there often. Mainly to rest. Be careful when going in though it's a step down and I forgot everytime I went in the room. The bed is super comfy after a long day of walking. What else? Ohhh if you close the windows the room is so dark and wonderful for sleeping and the street noise isn't heard much. I was amazed because the other places I've stayed have a lot of street noise. But then my neighbors came in. They were talking in normal voices and I could hear their conversation. I thought it was humorous but it might bother some. I recommend if noise at night bothers you and you travel anywhere in Spain to bring earplugs because the cities are alive at night.

We loved the history of the building itself. There were personal touches that made this stay memorable (wishing tree, artwork, staff)

Towards the end of one of our nights, the hotel was out of a few food/drink items we wanted. It might have been because of the weather and more people stayed in. We ended up ordering what we could and then delivery for the rest. In addition, I realized after one night, I needed a different pillow for my neck (which they offered this service, different pillows). When I asked it was around 11pm and the desk said they didn’t have the key for them… odd but okay!

Alot of thought has gone into the hotel, lovely design of the lobby, inner patio and guest library. The themed rooms are a great idea and good to prompt a little more knowledge of the region. It is modern and stylish without being the bland experience you get in big chain hotels. The room had a safe as well which is usually an extra, it was a good-size bedroom with a desk and sofa, the bathroom had toiletries and a good hairdryer (so difficult to get in any hotel!). The staff were very friendly and helpful and you can store your bags after checkout so you can keep exploring. Also at an excellent location for visiting the sights, 2 mins from the alhambra bus stop and 3 from plaza nueva. 5 mins from the 33/21 stop to the bus station. We did not try the breakfast, while it looked very good, it was expensive at €15 for those of us who don't eat much at breakfast.

While there are many choices of pillow for the traveller we did find the bed a little hard, but that is personal preference.
