There's a very friendly cat, which was my favorite part of the stay. Very comfortable bed. Our room had a lovely sitting area, which we enjoyed with the red wine provided, having a nice conversation instead of watching TV as usual (no TV in our room). Perfect combination of classic and modern, with classic furniture and a modern bathroom. Very clean. Nice terrace overlooking the valley, where you can have breakfast. Very enjoyable stay. Shampoo, bar soap, and body wash were provided. Linens were clean and smelled good. Breakfast was okay (yogurt, meat, cheese, bread, boiled eggs). Not very close to anything, but the positive of that is that it's perfectly quiet at night.

I couldn't tell from the photos, but the rooms themselves don't have private terraces. Not an issue, but something that you might want to know. No wifi in the room, and no cell service in the room, either. Not a problem for us, but might be an issue for some. Room rate was on the high end of acceptable as compared with our other stays on the islands. Parking can be a bit tricky, as it's only street parking along a one-way single lane road, but we managed, and it appeared that all the other guests did as well. Again, not an issue for us, but guests should be aware that the hotel is on a hill with several steps, and there may be steps to the room as well. I don't think there's an elevator. So guests with a lot of luggage or mobility issues may have difficulty.

Perfect stay here. Jacob and Isabella went above and beyond. Isabella basically planned my hiking day and got me a private chauffeur that she knows. Since I didn't have a car, this was perfect. He dropped me off and picked me up hours later, brought me to a couple cool spots and drove me to my other hotel after. They also made sure the breakfast buffet was ready early because I'm an early riser. Lots of fun walking in Hermigua! Mirador (s), the beach, cute Bar Pedro. Worth the detour to go to the tourism office. Everything was impeccable. If I come back, I'm staying there 100%

First of all we really liked La Gomera. This was one of our last stop of the trip (from north of Tenerife and then ending in south for two weeks). Its located very beautiful so the view from the balcony is super! It is very clean and the staff is kind and helpful. We liked it so much that we decided to stay one more night. Since it was christmasday a lot of things were closed but they helped us to book a very good restaurant.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the valley. As not staffed overnight, wine, beer and snacks could be purchased through an honesty system.

A minor point, but as we did not have transport, the location up a steep hill was sometimes inconvenient. For example, when going out for evening meal. I would still highly recommend staying at the property.

Beautiful hotel run by super friendly people! We did a 26km hike and arrived very late in Hermigua with no place to sleep. The lady wasn’t at the hotel but we could easily check in ourselves and explained everything through whatsapp. She even ordered a taxi for us. The hotel is very quiet, nice beds, lovely bathroom with good soap and the breakfast was delicious. The view on the terrace is amazing!

Big rooms , very clean , plenty of tea coffee & water to make them , had breakfast on the terrace, the views are amazing, slept like a baby so quiet and beds so comfortable, shower was powerful and much needed as weather 41* still 30+ in the evening but due to the thick walls of this fabulous building, the room was cool , we ate in the restaurant 5 mins drive at the opposite end to the church , but well worth it , food was perfect , good choice on the menu and really good price , breakfast in the morning was super choice , set us up for the day , the place itself was picturesque, would definitely stay there again, a perfect spot !

The balcony faced a roof top blocked the views but that’s the building nothing could change that position

View from the terrace was excellent. Peaceful location. Room was spacious even though no balcony. Bathroom was excellent. Seating areas around the hotel were good. Great to have refreshments available on a help yourself basis.

No WiFi in our room or 4G. Although it was nice to get away from technology, it’s beneficial to be able to access the internet when you wake up. This wasn’t a surprise but it’s strange how you miss something you’re used to having access to 24/7!

Excellent staff, very clean, superb location. Very welcoming, attention to detail, excellent breakfast.

No hot water in the shower (only lukewarm), difficult parking on road (not "parking available" as advertised). Located above main road , so noisy motorbikers and traffic on Sunday nights spoiled it. Very firm bed gave us back pain.

Very nice location, views of sunrise over the valley. Very relaxed personnel, it felt like visiting a family - suggestions and tips on day trips were voluntarily discussed. Is close to the center of the lengthy Hermigua - if you visit, suggest to give Tasca Telémaco a try for dinner (ten minute walk) The bathroom was modern and nice, the room itself quite rustic, but authentic. No air conditioning (see below), but given the location and a smart usage of the blinds/windows/natural cooling at night, it was still quite comfortable. Parking was OK, no dedicated parking but public parking along the (narrow) road. Beds were quite hard - depending on taste a good or a bad thing (one of us good, the other bad).

At first the lack of air conditioning was a bit a disappointment. However, Hermigua has cool nights, and the way the building is oriented, the sun disappears from the windows after about 10 or 11 in the morning. Opening the windows in the evening allowed for a cooled down sleep (visited in September). Beds were quite hard - depending on taste a good or a bad thing (one of us good, the other bad).

Fantastic breakfast on the terrace, lovely clean room very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location high up on the side of the valley overlooking stunning scenery with Mt Teide in the distance.

Everything was perfect though a 20min walk up a steep hill if you don't have a car.
